There is SO much to see in this store!!! It's not limited to the beachy style, but there is a lot of beach-themed furniture and decor. It is a great place to find gifts and treat yourself with something cute.

Today I stopped to shop at Funkie Junkies, as every time I go in there, I find COOL items, and today was no exception, as hidden ( right in front of my eyes), in one of the amazing multiple nook and crannies treasure rooms, were these two, actually designed by an artist, custom made “Steampunk” hats, which were WAY better than I’ve seen anywhere! The prices were fantastic too! What finally sold me was the education I received from one of the very helpful customer reps (Ranee) ,  who knew all about the items. She and the other people working at the store made it a great shopping experience! Thanks Ranee and everyone at FunkieJunkies!

Funkie Junkies, what a phenomenal place!!! My aunt was visiting from out of town over the weekend, we spent two days exploring - this place is HUGE and has so many hidden treasures!!  My aunt and I left with lots of great stuff!!! And I went back today and got an original watercolor from a local artist.  I highly recommend you stop in for a visit, make sure you have plenty of time, you won’t be disappointed! Oh, and don’t forget to visit their location in Port Charlotte!!

So much fun to shop here. Bright, colorful, cheerful displays and items. A new adventure around every corner. Highly recommend.

Very eclectic and unusual items. Each room brings surprises - and there's about 10 rooms. Very fun to explore. I arrived with no expectations and left with about $150.00 of new and unique gifts for my home - lots of wall hangings. Here's one I just love - see photo. Go and enjoy yourself and maybe brighten up your space! I completely recommend this place and the helpful staff.

Just found a perfect tv stand for my bedroom. It even matched my bedroom wall color.

Buyer Beware I learned many years ago, but was stung by a vendor here on price gouging. Lesson learned things are not always as they appear and a canvas I purchased for $99.00 new was later spotted at another business for $39.00 new. I respect Funky Junkies policy of no returns and accept responsibility for my poor judgement.

Fun place to go and browse.  There are many rooms of unique nick knacks and furniture. Very comfortable lounge chairs for the guys while the wives are spending your money!

Set up for the decorator of the family.  Not many true antiques, but a ton of decor items.  Obviously since this is FLA, beach-themed items up the wazoo!

All the items are clearly displayed.  There was enough help to make things easier to get.  Everyone was friendly.

It got 3 stars worth of items, but #1 : this was the first place we visited after a 70 day quaratntine and #2: its massive and I appreciated thr time i had to to take to look everything over and #3: staff was really nice.  It was tricky as people began crowding the place after we arrived and we took home 1 or 2 tiny knick knacks but didnt score any big pieces or such.

I am so sorry Greg that you didn't get the help you were looking for. We do try to have ample staff present on both sides of our 20,000 sq ft building. We do hope you give us another try but we appreciate the feedback. 

No help and I was looking for a loveseat and only had tow on the sales floor and I could of filled my pockets since nobody around I felt like I was the only place in the store

Good variety at the store and location, good traffic , if you're trying to sell something..

Sorry for your experience with the store credit. We do use physical gift cards.  The store credit you were referring to would have been prior to the store changing ownership in 2022, as there wasn't a gift card to track your purchases.  We apologize for the inconvenience, however, there was nothing presented to the staff to validate the remainder of your credit. Thank you for taking the time to explain your situation.  

Pretty disappointed with the lack of customer service. I bought my wife a $100 gift certificate a while back. She used $80 of it and they said they would put it in the system that she still had $20 to spend. When we went today they said they can see the purchase she made from back then but nothing in there about her still having a $20 credit. The $20 isn’t going to make or break us it’s not the amount that matters but the fact that they couldn’t be bothered to try to help resolve this issue that was on their end. So in the end they get an extra $20 and all it costs them is a couple customers that now won’t return and this 2 star review. Maybe it’s worth it to them.

Families BEWARE. Unfortunately, as soon as you walk in the door, you’re greeted with a couple of displays filled with vulgar language. I used to shop here with my kids and bring family when they were in from out of town but, sadly, I won’t be. A corner in the back with an Explicit Language sign would be appreciated if it’s necessary to sell these items. **I have purchased lots of home decor as well as furniture here over the years. The place is HUGE and they have a great selection. If it weren’t for the offensive displays I’d give them 5 ⭐️

I was excited to go shopping but when I arrived, on the left outside of the building there was a sign that said everything $1. I found an item picked it up and went inside. Everything I picked up and asked how much it was she said $5. So I decided to pay for the one item that I grabbed outside for a $1dollar. I explained that I grabbed that outside off the dollar table and the lady said "oh how did that get out there this is mine for my paint brushes and do I mind if she doesn't sell it." I was speechless, put my money back in my wallet and left very disappointed. There was no sign of paint in this item that I grabbed, it practically looked brand new except for the smell of it sitting around for a while. I will never go back to this consignment store, on my weekly thrift store shopping.

To respond to your respond, yes you do have a table out there that says a dollar and to have fun. I'm sure if you mentioned to the older lady that was working that day I'm sure she'll remember because it was supposedly her paint brush holder.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding. The gentleman that bought the console discussed the delivery options with Jamison and opted not to have it brought to the 2nd floor for the additional fee. He did call the store while the delivery team was there and stated that was indeed the agreed upon option. Our delivery fees are set and posted around the store since it is a separate service. Again, I am sorry for the misunderstanding. 

I'm not a fan of dishonest salesmen. I LOVE the store and have shopped there many times.  This weekend, we bought three pieces of furniture from Funkie Junkie's and opted to have one delivered since Jamison assured us there would be no extra $100 charge for bringing it up to the second floor. We figured the $125 saved us from renting a truck and gave us some extra time.   However, when I called Jamison while the delivery guys were here, he denied ever making that claim. I told him I questioned his integrity and ended the call. Normally, I stay calm and collected, but I have no tolerance for dishonest salespeople.  Do better Jamison!! Do better.  ***Hey FJ owner, we took the two pieces with us that we considered having delivered.  Jamison said he would NOT CHARGE the fee for the 2nd floor for the console. This was the conversation. I called the store during the delivery and I DID NOT say it was it was agreed upon.  Looks like you both are liars and you, the owner have no clue of what happened. You just make stuff up as you go.

We are very sorry you didn't have a great experience with our store.  We do agree the front entrance gathers the outside humidity and temperature with the amount of times it is used to bring in the customers.  There isn't much we can do. However, in regards to your shopping experience, we have three people working the floor at all times, we like to give our customers space to make those kinds of decisions, at any time we would be more than willing to help you in any way we can! We have a nicely selected staff here, but we do get busy in bursts.  If you are interested, feel free to give us another chance. We hope you find the place you are comfortable shopping :)

Been in twice now looking for pieces of furniture for our living room, as well as a new couch for my family.
First time had to be quick, got lost...and came out SWEATING. Second time I had a bit more time and got a good look around/.
When you walk in its crowded, and very muggy. With them being right next door to an A/c company, you'd think they'd try to figure some better air flow. It is a freaking maze. The people who I think work there , not the best manners. They honestly have RBF, which isn't a good customer service look. I myself looked and was interested in a couple pieces, but looked at the price tags and it was bloody shocking. Also not once was asked if I was going okay, or needed any help. Multiple of my friends and family avoid this place because of the prices and tacky décor. Best way to describe the décor pieces is fisherman's village chic? Which don't get me wrong , my grandmother LOVES tropical décor. To each their own. But one thing my grandmother will NOT do is over pay for décor like this.

The little shops are really cute and fun, friendly folks selling their goods, but the cashier was so extremely rude, complaining about needing to bag my purchases and not wanting to use paper between glass items. It is pretty sad that she took a fun afternoon of shopping and made everyone feel as if we were not even worthy of having our purchases safely packed.
