Canned Ham Vintage is an absolute goldmine! If you get the chance to visit in person, go for it—but in the meantime, their online selection has an abundance of unique finds. I was thrilled to snag a last-minute 1970s/1980s Christian Dior blue nightgown set for a Rosemary’s Baby costume, and it was a total hit. Not to mention the piece was in BEAUTIFUL condition and looked even better in person.

Shoutout to Marina, who was an absolute gem on the phone. She went above and beyond to ensure my order arrived in time for my event, even amid it being their first day back since the hurricane. Sending all my best to them and other businesses in the area as they recover.

This place is absolutely wonderful. They have an amazing selection and the owner is kind and engaging and has a lot of great stories about where she found her pieces. This is a great spot to find unique vintage pieces with very reasonable prices.

This is the best vintage spot I’ve ever been to. Anywhere. It’s on the pricier end but it’s the curated selection and high quality of items for the age that you’re paying for.

I am from Alabama where Mardi Gras is widely celebrated (my husband and I are seasonal SRQ’ers). This year I was invited to the Gaieties Ball and needed a roaring twenties outfit. A dear friend of mine from Sarasota recommended I try Canned Ham for a dress. We drove down from the Lakewood Ranch area and upon arrival quickly knew I had hit the jackpot. The young lady working that morning, Marina, was amazing help! I told her exactly what I was looking for and she began pulling dresses for me. They had fabulous pieces to choose from. I ended up with the perfect dress, headpiece, handbag, earrings and a bracelet. We were short on time so we couldn’t “get lost” in the merchandise, but I’m excited to know about Canned Ham Vintage and look forward to going back. The shop is immaculate and chock full of a plethora of categories. There’s clothes of course (men’s too!) tons of jewelry, furnishings, art, decorative accessories, etc! They offer vintage as well as antique pieces all very fairly priced. I highly recommend Canned Ham and can’t wait to go back!

Canned Ham is heaven on earth! I can't think of any place I'd rather spend hours... there's so much to see, every time I walk in the door there's something new. I was on the hunt for the perfect vintage Hawaiian for my daughters birthday gift.  Canned Ham came highly recommended to me and they did not disappoint.  The owner Ashley was there to give me personal service and picked out several selections she thought my daughter might like.  We ended up with these 2 cool Hawaiians that I know she will love. Wonderful selection of vintage everything. They have a small group of furniture, and a HUGE room filled with every era you could imagine. I got a green organza coat, perfect as a light cover up.

Always amazing service and the selection is unbelievable. My eyes are wide open the whole time because I don’t want to miss anything. It’s so organized and well put together. If you can’t find what your looking for Marina and the other staff are quick to help you. I always love going here to see what treasures I might find. honestly one of the best vintage clothing store i’ve ever been to! i could’ve been in there for hours but sadly my boyfriend was rushing me.. found some great pieces at reasonable prices! both women working there were very sweet and even brought out some new inventory from the back to show me ❤️ highly recommend checking this place out & allocating at least an hour or two to do so 🥰

The absolute premiere store in the southeast for vintage clothing and cool stuff for the home! They have an extensive collection of clothing from 50s, 60s & 70s, all in amazing condition and ready to wear. The owners are great too! If you are in the Sarasota area, do not miss it!

Incredible store for an old soul who loves everything vintage, such as myself!! Got some really cute shorts from the 1970s and a tank from the 70s that looks in mint condition! Love the store and owner was lovely!! Definitely a must see!

Best kept secret in Sarasota. If you love vintage anything, go there! Bought my Aunt a Bakelite bracelet there last week. Owners are delightful. Household/kitchen goods fabulous.

My go-to place for men's vintage fashion. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable in fashion and are excellent at giving you great combinations for your clothing.

Love love love this store, it is such a gem I. Sarasota. So many vintage clothing treats and plenty of mid century modern furniture and lighting. The owner, Ashley, is so sweet and knowledgeable. I highly recommend for a fun afternoon of shopping.

This shop is wonderful! High quality vintage clothing and furniture. The clothes are in very great condition, and they even dry clean or wash everything before putting it in the racks. Super friendly staff, too. Very inviting atmosphere. Love this place!

You will love every aspect of this vintage experience, from the unique one of a kind clothing pieces to the nostalgic record player with music from the 60's when I was visiting, to the friendly welcome from Ashley and her Mom!  If you are lucky, the Shasta Canned Ham will be there too!

Lots of vintage stuff but way, way way overpriced. They must cater to the super rich yuppies.

The place has lots and lots of vintage clothes, decorations, jewelry etc.  Their selection is great but their prices are really over inflated.   I looked at a commercially cast silver bear ring that should have been $100 - 150 retail and it was priced at $280.   My wife saw a cute jacket that was priced at $250.   Just too much for us especially when there are so many vintage offerings nowadays everywhere.   There’s a reason all this old merchandise is in abundance.

Sarasota finally has a decent upscale vintage store from head to toe and household goods too.
You'll find wonderful pieces but be prepared this place is pricey.

Great selection, but incredibly overpriced. The staff was more more interested in their friend shopping at the store then customers at the store. Purchased a shirt but was unimpressed with customer service, interaction with staff and pricing.

Owner is so rude it’s unbelievable.  The young lady working was nice and helpful.  Way over priced vintage, no wonder one one is ever in there.  I spent over $350 and not a thank you or anything,  I def won’t be back.

Surprised the Owner was so rude.    Customer service is a lost commodity.  The sales person, however, was  nice.

Doesn't matter how cool some of the stuff is. They're pricing themselves out of business. Id rather give my money to an estate sale or a garage sale. ✌️

I was REALLY looking forward to visiting this cool vintage shop!
It looked like it had some unique and beautiful pieces when I walked in.
A man and woman were standing there when I walked in. No hello, welcome to our shop or even a  acknowledgment that I was there. I walked past them and she pulled the gentleman out of the way and continued her conversation something about ceiling tiles at 9 o'clock at nite. Still no hello. I continued to walk around  and decided I'd give it a little longer to see if they addressed me.  A girl came out of the stock room with dresses looked at me, continued to walk away didn't even say hello. If you cannot even acknowledge a  customer with a aimple hello that tells me you do not value me as a patron.
Lack of customer  service is a turn off, a simple hello and smile is all it takes. I will take my business
elsewhere.
