Fun shopping experience turned into a sour purchase.... I never take the time to write reviews but I want shoppers to be aware that Taylor failed to stand behind a product ($800 Lane Acclain record cabinet) that he knowingly sold to us with a broken pivot hinge. It was mentioned to us in passing (after finalizing the purchase the previous day) when we were picking up the cabinet. He explained the hinge comes undone every "1/100 times the cabinet is opened". This was not the case. I was unable to keep any records or weight in the cabinet without it coming completely undone. Because the drawer did not stay in place, it ultimately ended up cracking the wood panel beneath it. After texting for over over a month with no resolution or follow up by Taylor, I took it upon myself to find someone locally (in Charleston) to repair it. A year later, my cabinet is finally fixed and mostly usable. I still have to be careful not to load too many records into it. Regardless, the customer experience was utterly disappointing. We will not be supporting this business again, on future trips to St. Augustine.
