Very welcoming store with a huge inventory! Came here while waiting for the DMV to call us in line so we didn’t have time to make any selections.

The parrots and cockatoos in the store were so cute and really distracting from making a purchase haha. We will definitely be back to check out the furniture and clothes more!

This place is wonderful. We lost a home in the hurricane and refurnished it mostly with things we bought at Deja Vu. It is wonderful to go out we can just check around to see what is new. There is always some little knick knack that will be perfect for that spot. They have a wonderful collection of fabrics if you need drapes or to recover it share you may have bought there. We have also consigned some of our furniture and would recommend it to anyone.

I love walking around. It is eclectic, and I feel the prices are reasonable.

There are parrots all around the store that just add another drop of happiness to browsing.

What a hidden gem! I've driven by this store for years, and it took a suggestion from my out of town friend for me to visit.
There's something for everyone here and the pricing changes over time if an item has not sold. The inventory constantly changes and is well curated/displayed, with incredible prices.
AND there's far more than just furniture here! There's beautiful clothing (including vintage formal gowns, boutique clothing, shoes and accessories) in a side room, there's china/porcelain, tvs (a few), lamps, wall art, and one of a kind decor from all over the world.
While this comes up as a thrift store in Google searches, the prices are spot on and deeply discounted, yet the store is well laid out and sets a high bar for a consignment store. Two added bonuses: friendly, approachable staff (thank you) and friendly parrots (in cages) who have found a home at the store after their owners were no longer able to care for them.
All around a 5 star find if you've got a bit of time to wander and find a deal on a Saturday (or any day but Sunday.) So glad I'm now a customer!

Very fun place to shop for just about anything. My friend  told me about their jewellery . Lots of choices at good prices.  I bought this long beaded necklace for $6.00.

This is a wonderful store of vintage and current day furniture. They have resident birds that are beautiful....Max. It's a must stop in St. Pete when looking for that special piece. Assorted decorations as well.

This is by far my favorite consignment store in the Metro St., Pete area. They offer a unique selection of HomeGoods at reasonable prices. There are a lot of great deals to be had at the store. The staff is always excellent and providing assistance.

This is my favorite store in St. Petersburg! Where else can you have a nice little chat with a cockatoo and pick up a like new couch for cheap? Everyone who works there is incredibly nice, helpful and professional from the folks in store to the delivery guys.

Love it.  Good prices and friendly staff.   I really enjoy walking around and seeing all the parrots.  This is just a fun place to visit.  I haven't seen the second location.  Looking forward to stopping by soon.

Beautiful gently used designer furniture at a fraction of gallery prices

One of our new favorite places! Found a great bedroom suite that was delivered with care in a timely manner. Incredible variety of inventory that is ever changing. Rescued parrots make the shopping experience unique and entertaining. A definite place we'll return to, and highly recommend!

Great local St Pete consignment shop. It's much larger than it may appear. Lots of interesting finds. And what can I say about the parrots....not for sale. The parrots are precious, especially the African Grey's but I am partial! Love Max & Eleanor...so beautiful!

I started to deal with Deja Vu about 5 years ago we sold most of our furniture through them when we sold our place in Florida back then. Roll fwd 5 years and we are setting up a new place in Florida and went to visit  they always have some good quality items at good prices you just have to take care and look closely at the condition.( Buyer beware)
Anyway went to pay and to our surprise when they entered my name into the system the lady advised me to wait while she looked through the files and produced a check from 2018 which was for the last items sold it had been returned from our last Florida address.
Now if that does not indicate honesty I don’t know what does.
Everyone there is very helpful and pleasant and in any retail business things sometimes go wrong but it’s how these issues are worked out that matters .
Deja Vu selling items on consignment can not offer an easy return policy so know that when you buy for sellers they have always been honest with me with payments and advising which items have not sold .
It’s an interesting place to spend some time walking around u never know what you may find and new items come in continuously.

I LOVE this store. Try to visit about once a month as they are always adding inventory. You just never know what you may find. I've purchased a wardrobe, a couple lamps and some smaller pieces. Always have fun looking and I always enjoy the talking birds. CLOSED on Sundays!!!

Initially, this was a bad review, but they turned around and came through for us. The fact that they found the solution to my issue and reached to let me know shows good consideration for the customer. The shop has great selection and a fun vibe with several live tropical rescue birds to give some life to a place full of gorgeous old furniture and accessories. Thank you for rectifying what was essentially a mixup in communications. We will be returning!

Love, love, love this place! We've been picking up all manner of eclectic artwork, furnishings and decorative accessories. The folks there are wonderful; so helpful and super friendly! New inventory comes in all the time so it's a pleasure to browse often.

Love this place. Been going there for 18 years. The shop is huge and full of amazing furnishings that could make your home look like you spent a fortune on it but only played a fraction of the price. Say hello to Tiki and 6 other beautiful birds they have throughout the store. It is a very relaxed place so plan to spend as much time as you want looking for your favorite finds

We needed a nice padded bar stool, so we stopped in to see these nice people. This store is so unique: they have a wonderful selection of used items that are beyond my imagination. For those who are seeking a sustainable option for high quality merchandise, look no further. If you enjoy vintage goods and a walk down memory lane, stop in. When my out-of-town visitors need a change from the usual tourist haunts,  they always enjoy this quirky, fun, unusual store. I have purchased a variety of things here from furniture to crystal glasses and love seeing the parrots. Great spot for a rainy day too!

I FINALLY had a chance to check out this shop. There's SO much to choose from! They have 3 HUGE sections of whatever your heart my desire. I saw a beautiful BLACK & WHITE, striped chair I would love to have. They also have beautiful birds to make your visit a memorable one!

I have bought several things from deja vu. They have a huge store and high quality inventory. I also had things delivered from them and the staff was very helpful and pleasant to work with. In discussions with others, some think it would be better if there was not so much furniture because it is hard to look at things because it is crowded

2019-01 Easy access. Good parking. Good bathroom. Fun parrots. TONS of great stuff....with lots on the way. Don't miss the giant maze of a warehouse where 2/3 of the stuff is. Enter that part via the loading dock. They use the declining price format.

I liked them, it's a pickers paradise.  We spent 400 dollars there the first time, and we got a huge nice rug (2 of them actually), a neat leather chair, and a cool wine painting.  They are very nice.  Some stuff is expensive, some is not.  It's up to you to find what you like and then decide if the dollar amount at market or not.  Also, very good customer service and the guys will help you get your stuff to the loading dock with ease.

Huge consignment store with a wide variety of pieces plus parrots everywhere! Staff was helpful and friendly. My only caveat was I wish the inventory to choose from was a little newer. I did hit this great little carved wood accent table for my lanai though.

Truly one of the best furniture/ décor consignments in the whole Tampa Bay Area.  They have a tremendous selection for those looking high end-to-practical and simple items!  It is huge and the staff are not high pressure and wonderful to work with.   You can spend a good hour there and still not see everything!!

It was my first time here and even though I didn't end up buying anything, I LOVED perusing the store. They have a lot of options for various home furnishings...and everything seemed clean and in good-great shape! They will certainly be on my list for my future decorative/furniture needs!

My girlfriend and I were in the market for a new couch, and the first place that came to mind was Deja Vu—a store we love and have purchased many pieces from before. Naturally, it made sense to check here first.

As we walked in, I absentmindedly grabbed my metal water bottle, something I carry everywhere, and we proceeded inside. Since I’ve been here before, I expected the usual warm greeting at the front. Sure enough, a staff member was there, asking customers if they had visited before.

He asked the couple in front of us, then turned to us and did the same. After I responded with “Yes, I’ve been here before,” his attention immediately shifted to my water bottle. He locked eyes on me and told me I couldn’t have any beverages inside—something I completely understood and had no issue with. I turned to take my water back to the car without hesitation.

But as I walked out, he threw in a comment:

“I don’t even know what’s in that.”

I didn’t respond. I just kept walking. But before I was fully outside, I heard him—again—ask us if we had been here before. I had already answered that.

Twice now.

After putting my water in the car, I re-entered the store. The man was gone. We browsed, and I found two things I seriously considered purchasing. But the interaction stuck with me. As we sat in the car afterward, I finally brought it up—without any prompting, my girlfriend reassured me that I wasn’t overthinking it.

It was weird.

I don’t know if it was my age, my skin, my clothes—or all of the above—but something about it didn’t feel right. If the rule is “no beverages,” then why would it matter what was in my bottle?

That’s a loaded question.

We ended up buying a couch from another store. It was more expensive, and honestly, I would’ve been happier with what I found at Deja Vu. But because of that moment, I walked away.

That said, I’ll probably come back at some point because I genuinely love this store. They have unique pieces, great prices, and I’ve always recommended them to friends and family. If not for today, this review would’ve been an easy five stars.

Instead, I’m giving four—because the store is still great, but they lost one today with buddy at the front door.

Edit: After reading other reviews it seems I likely ran into the manager…. He seems to have problems with other people as well. I subtracted another star for all those effected.

After a purchase they do not offer a bag for small items and do not say thank you. Store is huge and well organized.

Nice store with good selection, but delivery services are questionable. I paid $85 on Sat for a delivery DT. Was told I would get call on Mon with delivery time, probably Wed. They never called so I  called Tues & was told “schedule not made- probably Thurs”. I asked if they would call me with a day and the response was “of course!” - in a tone that suggested I was crazy. They have not called back- no idea when my piece will be delivered.

Huge buildings with a lot of stuff. Definitely used items. Have to really search to find something of quality but also in good shape. Quite a few live large parrots throughout the buildings. Odd. Prices quite high for consignment store. Tags show 3 prices. Was told price lowers as time passes.

Was a nice yearly stop to visit when I am on vacation. Found several items without tags I was ready to purchase.  Was  told they were still being " reaearched'. Left my info.  Nobody bothered getting back to me with a price all week and left without them. Wouldn't go back.

Not what it used to be, and lady at the front desk is very rude! I’ve been doing business with them since they opened over 20 years ago and today was very disappointed in the merchandise and the customer service!

I've heard a lot about this place and even dropped off some furniture to be sold for several of my clients. The woman who takes in the furniture is amazing and very helpful, with that being said there are several of the retail fun of house customer Representatives that could use an attitude adjustment. It seems that the type of furniture and items they sell are geared towards Japanese and Asian themed don't get me wrong they have a lot of other stuff but I kept on seeing a reoccurring Japanese theme items there. Their prices are relatively High but the establishment is extremely clean and very well organized. Just the arrogance of one employee is why I gave this a two-star rating. And they made me package my own purchase which I thought was really odd but I was happy to do so considering it was very breakable

Do NOT trust these people. We found a chair we wanted that was not yet priced. They told us they would call us with a price, and that we had first right of refusal. The called back 90 minutes before closing and left a voicemail with a price. They sold it right out from under us in that 90 minutes.

Found out the OFFICIAL policy: if you put your name down for an item without a price, they will call you back once they have the price. They will NOT give you first right of refusal, even though that's what I was told. They will call you and if you aren't able to answer the phone THAT SECOND, they immediately call the next person on the list and you are now screwed. Then they leave you a message that says, "call us if you're still interested" instead of saying "too bad, you lost your chance."

I use to really like this store ( Have spent thousands in there), until they recently did me SO dirty. I bought a huge shelf that ended up not fitting in my vehicle. I called the following morning & told the man that answered the phone that I would be renting a truck & would pick it up on Monday.  He said it's no problem we have it out in the semi, & you have until Monday anyways.  I show up Monday afternoon with the rented truck, only to be told that I was issued a refund ( no phone call telling me this)  & the shelf was SOLD to someone ELSE! The man would not even acknowledge to the owner that he spoke to me on the phone! The owner was absolutely no help! Wow! Im also out the $50.88 on the truck rental! Horrible customer service! I am a business owner, & still cannot believe how they handled it! BTW the shelf was still there, so they could have made it right but chose not to!
