Rag street has a wonderful selection of second hand clothing & some housewares that are always in pristine condition and priced very reasonably. They have a  wonderful selection of Lilly Pulitzer and so many other high end name clothing brands.

The Rag Street was always a favorite of mine when it was in Stuart Centre, and I was delighted to see at the Ocean East Shopping Mall. They carry high-quality consignments and display them beautifully. The employees are more like hostesses, welcoming and graciously helpful. In addition to clothing (for women and men), the Rag Street carries a variety of small gift items, great for stocking stuffers.

On my return visit I discovered great items with help and excitement from the sales ladies. To my surprise they have a great selection of glass jarred soy candles for that elevated gift in beautiful light scents. The diffusers were offered to match with complimentary satin gift bags! Very nice. Can't wait to see what's new for graduation time. Thanks so much.

Ragstreet Consignment is a wonderful place to shop! I always find excellent, quality clothing every time I shop here! I even found a beautiful fire station for my Christmas village the last time I was here! The prices are affordable and the staff has always been lovely to interact with. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. Love, love, love this place!

Clean, tidy, and an awesome selection of styles amd most importantly sizes! I'm a hard fit, but was able to find something that fit me just right. The employees are nice amd courteous and the owner is friendly and funky! I'm not a local, but everytime I come to FL I make sure to stop by Rag Street!

Great service and a variety of nice things

I have consigned furniture at Rag Street and I am very happy with the service and the speed at which my furniture sold. I wouldn’t send my items to anyone else. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the shopping is great! BTW, although my husband’s name appears in the review, I’m the satisfied consigner!

My first visit to Rag Street was a pleasurable one. I was quite surprised at how spacious the store is and also, the high quality of the merchandise, many top designer labels, coupled with great prices. They also offer a consignment program. I am now a fan and will spread the word to everyone!

I really enjoyed walking around this consignment shop. They had a lot of things big variety. It is on the higher end. They have a lot of contemporary items. Lots of variety of clothing. They also have purses that are name brand and not name brand. They are a bit spendy. I did buy a few items that I was very satisfied with. I even found a chair that I have been searching for. The staff is very nice and polite.

I did love the items but truthfully it was very pricey for a "thrift/consignment" store. A pair of toms were over $20... thats wild to me. But! I did find a beautiful designer blouse for 60% off which came out to less than 10. But thats normal prices i would find elsewhere..
But hey! It is a different type of thrift. I would personally call it more of a boutique for sure :]

I brought a newly used coach bag,nice size for 45 dollars. None of the clothes fitted me. The largest size was a large.i needed a 1x or 2x.

Sales help was friendly, but resale clothing was  not up to date and seemed dated if that makes sense. Prices were good if it was on sale. For this area and great resale competition in the area prices should be better. Upscale items were very worn and priced high. I would love to see more fashion for younger folks, this shop seems to cater to more aged women.

Can always find something here. From shoes to handbags... Small sizes to large.  The gentleman sales helper is very friendly and helpful.

If you like a high end consignment store that reflects the good taste of its owner, go elsewhere. Rag Street offers an abundance of decades-old Coldwater Creek and Chicos. Which I sometimes like, to be fair — I’ve seen many things in here that I was happy to own 10-20 years ago. But honestly, these goods are not fine clothing, which I might buy no matter the age. And the prices? Those old Chicos pieces are priced at about what they sold for years ago. You’re better off getting something current at TJ’s or Nordstrom Rack.

The sales people are excellent and work hard to help. The owner, unfortunately, is rude and arrogant. If you are seeking quality, you are better off buying and selling on Poshmark and the like.

From a consignor view point, funds for sold items are forfeited if not claimed and they never inform the consignor if there are funds available-you have to call or stop in.  There is a .30 check fee for any amounts over $20, they won't mail the check which goes back to funds being forfeited if not claimed and their percentage seems a bit high.  In my experience, mailing expenses and cutting checks are part of overhead in running a business.

We use a software called entrupy. https://www.entrupy.com/

 It isn't running on an employees cellphone it's a specialized device connected to a apple device provided by entrupy and isn't something that can be installed on other devices. It has an attachment that takes specialized photos which are scanned by the software to verify if a bag appears authentic and provide a certificate which comes with a guarantee. Some bags like the the ones you brought to us are manually verified by the authentication company which takes additional time before they will provide information on the bag. There isnt an app running on some employees phone you were shown the actual device to explain the delay. 

The offer to buy your bag was contingent on the scan being able to authenticate your bag. We like to let people know a price before hand to save them the time waiting if they don't like the potential offer. 

In regards to the $20 dollar check minimum that sounds like a miscommunication on a busy day where the employee thought you were asking about consignment and they were trying to explain minimum payouts which would be unrelated to the bags.


I went there with the intention of selling my bags. I have Fendi, Gucci and Dooney Burke bags. The employee who had short blue and white hair was rude. Probably someone's grandma but she looked at me and said "in order for us to issue you a check , it must be at least $20. The nerve of this employee, I should have walked out. So after waiting 45 minutes, they made me an offer of $500. I agree and now they need to authenticate the bag. So I'm waiting again. To authenticate bags they use applications that they download. Aileen Gresham showed me the application on her cell. I left my bags overnight because I was tired of waiting. Aileen calls me to inform me that my Fendi could not be identified. Weird that Rag Street Consignment would use application on employees cell. How can you offer to buy a customers bag without authorization first.
Would I recommend this place? No. Sad because they have cute clothes. The employee who had white and blue short hair, go home and have a gummies🤪. Let's see if the owner contacts me.

Hi Barbara, we check all the designer bags we sell with a system that uses microscopic photographs to verify the bag and then print a certificate. The process takes around 30 minutes to take the photos and get a response from the verification company. Saying we need to verify the bag isnt rude or a judgement of the person bringing in the bag just a matter of policy with all designer bags we consign and purchase.

I just left Rag Street. My complaint isn’t about the fact they were going to pass on my Louis Vuitton purse. It is about the comment from the woman who initially took my information. While glancing at my purse, she stated that it would take about 30 minutes as they needed to make sure the purse
“was real”!  I may not look like the typical customer they have, however I am going through breast cancer and am not at my best. I was shocked and as I wandered through the store waiting, I just wanted my purse back so that I could leave. I have never had such a rude statement made about anything I own. And of course it is “real” Louis Vuitton. I purchased it at Saks in 1992!!  Rude beyond belief.

Proper terminology should be used by the employees. I know and understand authentication is used everywhere as it should be. As I said, my issue is with the statement made by the employees and authentication wasn’t the word she used. Grammar is everything.

While it isn't true that we are only interested in designer handbags and clothing we have updated our policy to let potential consignors know they can email us pictures of items they would like to consign if they are concerned about the trip to the store.

While we would love to take all the items that are brought into our store we can't always due to limited space and have to try and only take things we think we would be able to sell for you. We definitely aren't trying to be snobby it just isn't in anyones best interest for us to take items we don't think we can sell. 



I brought in some nice and newer clothes, designer labels, sizes 4-6 and none of them were acceptable. I actually bought two of the items at their store. Consignment woman was a clothes snob. She claimed my labels didn't sell well. FYI Shopping is about size and taste not labels. They have a lot of 'old lady ' styles. Maybe if they took my newer designes younger people would shop there. Very disappointed.

Things are overpriced, you should do do your research before buying, for example there was a diaper bag for sale at $42 but you can find the same one off Amazon brand new for $29.99😂

I'm sorry we weren't able to use any of the items you brought in today. Unfortunately we have to be very selective clothing, shoes, purses and home décor due to limited space and have to reject items with any blemishes or that are from brands that don't sell well for us ( like Express which you did have several nice pieces from).

When I entered to bring in clothing, I was greeted in a way that I had to ask if the person was having a great day. Was asked to look around the store while they assess my pieces. I was then told that they were no up to their standard or interest. In view of what I saw in the store, my items surpassed all of the items that were being sold. Not to mention that the store was smelly and filled of old clothing, shoes and purses.

Sorry that we were unable to use any of your items.
Due to limited space we can't take every item that is brought to our store and try to be as selective as possible for the benefit of our consignors and customers.

To Clarify our consignment hours are Monday through Friday 11am to 4pm (no appointment necessary) and the items should be brought in clean, pressed and on hangers rather than in trash bags (while we made an exception for you we generally reject items in trash bags on the spot).

Been here a couple times to  Purchase items and last 2 times I've been here has been very disappointing as I was trying to take clothes in for consignment.
Saturdays you have to have an appointment which was fine.  However, took 2 large trash sacks in today with nice name brand clothes from my community and they wouldn't offer me one dime for any of it and even put them down as spotted (i disagreed)  young gal said they don't have a need for pants or active wear very disappointing and insulting

This place is a total sham. They lost my dress, a brand new Trina Turk valued at $300+. I got 2 different stories and was told to pick up check on the 15th. I go the following day (15th) and was told I have only 13.20 and it’s a store credit. Their flat out thieves! Steer clear from this place! Liars and thieves!

Would not recommend this consignment shop . If your items do not sell after 60 days they automatically donate them EVEN if you want the items back after the 60 days. Check around as most consignment shops return your items if you would like them unless you don't contact them or pick them up.  Plus they take 60% of the sale price and most consignment shops either pay outright or you get 50%. It isn't even a high end shop , more or less like a thrift shop.
