I need to give the biggest shout out to Bob's Coins & Jewelry! We’ve been into the store several times over the past year or so because my son has taken up an interest in collecting coins, and Cameron (the grandson of the original owner, Bob) always spends a lot of time with him explaining the history of the coins, sharing information them and encouraging my son in his new hobby. My son absolutely loves it there and it there and is always begging to go back. About a month ago we were in the store and we told Cameron that my son wanted to go there for his birthday on May 4th, and so today we walked in and were greeted with the sweetest birthday gifts! This family business is truly a gem, and I highly recommend stopping in there for coins, jewelry or the cutest French bulldog puppies you’ll ever see. They made my son’s birthday and I can’t thank them enough!

Vickie and her team at Bob's are top-notch. She has created some beautiful pieces for me over many years. She is my go-to jeweler. She never steers me wrong, and I trust her implicitly. I gave her my late mother's opal ring that needed some love and Vickie went out of her way to find the perfect opals to replace the ones that had lost their fire. She truly outdid herself with that rehab, along with the upgrade to my wedding set. She worked with my husband to design the perfect setting, and find just the right diamonds. I was in about a year ago and was very impressed with the service, knowledge and expertise of the staff.  I sold my father's coin collection as POA of his estate. I was impressed that they were very thorough in identifying me. The staff took the time to explain what they were paying and why. I left with alot more then I thought I would get.
I  was so impressed I brought mom's jewelry back to sell also. Again courtesy, knowledge and experience.  I was a little disappointed in the amount I received but understand that with all the manufactured diamonds and precious stones that are made now, the real ones are not as valuable.  I just receive the amount for the gold and siver in the pieces. I  was very satisfied with the amount I received from mom's jewelry.  I am coming back to get dad's watch battery replaced and the watch cleaned. Thank you!

I am from Pennsylvania and I have had different numismatists look over some of my coins and they all offered to buy them but none of them truly educated me. Walking into Bob's my first impression was that I was in the right place, everyone was friendly and looked up with a smile to greet me. This establishment I discovered is family owed, Bob started it and his son and grandson are very knowledgeable. They took time to educated me and go over the details of my collection, they also advised me on what I should have graded. They pulled the coins out for me to grade and even gave me the cases to handle them. I felt so confident I left the rest of my collection with them to examine as I plan on selling it to them. I love the honesty and the knowledge this establishment offers. If you are looking for truly honest and professional help this is the place.

I just moved and discovered a box of old coins and some proof sets.  There were a couple odd gold color coins, no clue where they came from.  Cameron at Bob’s worked with me to evaluate and appraise the coins.  He was very nice, took time to explain the coins and values that he assigned to them, which I appreciated very much.  At the end I came away with a nice check.  And those two odd coins?  GOLD!  I had no clue.  I like doing business with honest people!!!

I don’t have any more coins, but they have a great selection of jewelry, so I’ll be going back!

I'm 62 and have been a coin collector since I was young. My father passed his coin collection down to myself and two sisters. It was worth a million $$. Bob's coins are the most experienced and trust worth people I've ever dealt with.

After my 1st visit, I knew I'd definitely be returning! They helped me with a devastating situation when the stone fell out of my son's birthstone ring that I've worn since his birth 20+ year's ago & as I "rub & look at it as a comfort measure as I'm trying to handle my Dementia symptoms & we are extremely bonded as he is my caregiver also & this happened the day after I had tests for cancer & we were awaiting the results. All I wanted was my comfort symbol & they had my ring repaired, at a VERY reasonable price within the week! They also spoke to me & treated me with much kindness, understanding & empathy, already making me feel like a very valued customer, even though it was my first visit. And I've always said that you can't trust anyone who's not a dog lover & their adorable dog's are the 1st thing you see when you come in & you're automatically smiling. I can't say enough good things about this family/business & it's the only place I've taken my jewelry to since, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else & you shouldn't either!☺️

Thanks to Bob's Coins and Jewelry I will have a very special Christmas. I had taken my grandmother's watch in to another jewelry store and I was given a quote of $300 to get it fixed. It sat in the store for 5 weeks waiting to be fixed. It was important to me to have the watch fixed by Christmas so I took it out of that jewelry store and took it to Bob's Coins and Jewelry. They fixed my grandmother's watch in an hour and cleaned it for $39.00! It is beautiful! Then I decided to take my son's Michael Kors watch in to be engraved for Christmas. It was beautifully engraved in an hour. I couldn't be more pleased and I highly recommend Bob's Coins and Jewelry for your needs. Thank you for making my Christmas very special for my family and I.

Went in today to sell some silver and gold bullion, wasn’t disappointed. Was greeted immediately upon entering, and there was no wait for a thorough inspection/purity verification, explanation of value, and cash offer. I’ve had shops in the past act like they were “doing me a favor”, I felt nothing but appreciated here. Highly recommend.

Hands down best place in central fl. They know their coins, they are fantastic jewelers. One of the best part of this place is that it's one of the rare authentic family style shops with a upscale showroom. Everyone is Super nice, super helpful, knowledgeable, & they actually have enough staff and even when busy you can rest assured that you always get full attention and customer service from them. Very nice place for a quick visit or a shopping spree. Always super impressed by them and it keeps me going back for sure. A+ 5 STARS

The customer service was excellent. No sales pressure while examining the jewelry of your choice. They offered suggestions for chains to best reflect the beauty of the pendant but always with my preference.

Picked up my wedding ring/ engagement ring today. They had to reset it. Beautiful job! In 35 years this is the best my ring has ever looked. Very reasonable and quick service

There are not enough stars available to describe the quality of service Bob, Vickie, Brian, Eric, Lorraine and Jonathan provide - they treat customers like family!  Having a shop down the street from them is an honor as they treat my business like it is their own with referrals!  If you have not stopped in here, you owe it to yourself as the shop is beautiful and the people are wonderful!

Bob's coins is far and away the best coin,jewelry and collectable store that I have ever dealt with. To say they give personal customer care is an understatement. They have an upscale top notch store with extremely fair prices. They best prices for precious metals and coins around. They also give you the closest to market value of anyone around on any coins, precious metals, jewelry, etc. that you bring them. This makes it literally the best of both worlds. I have personal ran into at least 5 people in the coin collecting world in the last 6 months alone that brought up Bobs as the best place around without me even mentioning it. Check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

I only went there for batteries since it is also a jewelry store. Very nice inside, great customer relations and very friendly. They do have many coins, but did not have my wife's watch strap. However, nice jewelry and coins with friendly service.

Was it the figurines you felt were too pricey or something else? What are you price comparing us with? Our figurines are priced based on actual pre-owned auction prices online. Our repairs are priced using a standardized guide. Our jewelry has a lower mark up than average and our coins are priced at wholesale to the public. We strive to be competitive. Keep in my mind the cost of doing business does vary from location to location. If you have any additional feedback, please reach out and ask for Vickie. 

Visited this place with my family a few days ago. We were greeted right away and they have a few nice Lladros; however, the place is way overpriced. Maybe if my wife had shown interest in something, but nothing stuck out. This begs the question why the overpricing? Maybe if they had rare finds, but no. Either way, just another place off my list.

High end jewellery store and coin shop.   We stopped into have my rings checked only.  Clean, nice displays, handicap accessible.   The staff was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable.  I will update to the quality of work when we return.

If you are unclear on something, we are happy to help. Our staff doesn't steal. I have retrieved the paper token and you are welcome to pick it up as it has no value. It is a place holder for a coin bezel. The reverse of said valuable token says "replace with your half dollar loosen small screw at top to open". 

I think everything was fair except for the token I think that guy stole it it was paper he knew it was worth more it had jfk on it 1917 1963 why would you weigh it with silver you wouldn't get anything for it

Im sorry you weren't happy about the offer. We do encourage people to try to sell on their own before accepting a scrap value. We do pay extra for some brands, large diamonds and precious stones.

Feel like I was robbed blind. It happened so fast I didn't even realize what happened until I got in mycar with my $44.00 for a very old and very nice selection of coins. Several  Several  old coins. Wow just wow. Can't believe  I was so stupid. Seen me coming.

Steven, I'm sorry you are disappointed by the price increase. It was long overdue. As I explained, the liability, cost of tools and training, staffing etc... had driven up the price. It was the first increase in 24 years. We are not the most expensive nor the least. Not all watches require a jeweler or watchmaker to install the battery. Our prices are published and predictable as we always quote up front. I'm happy to help you find a cheaper service elsewhere or acquire the tools.

Previously they charged $6 for a 5 minute battery replacement for my 90 year old mom’s watch. Today they wanted $20 for the same job claiming it’s expensive to replace the tools when they get old and even if she provided the new battery, same price. I asked how much of the $20 is the battery and they replied $3. I feel they were taking advantage of my mom’s age and they have enough business they can jack up the price and lose a few customers. Don’t patronize this business preying on the elderly of The Villages taking advantage of them. My mom had used them for the same job several times over twenty years. I’m now looking for a more reasonable business to replace it.
