This is the gift shop for the attached oddities museum. Very friendly staff, great art, and plenty of museum mementos to take home.

I went in thinking it was an oddities store. No. This place is so much more with the largest collection of oddities I’ve ever seen in their museum! You have to go and check it out, no photos allowed which is sad but understandable. But if you like weird shit you have to check it out! Bean was amazing and gave a good antique store recommendation as well as I was traveling through the area!

One of the most amazing places you can visit in Atlanta. If you grew up seeing movies that had the 2 headed calfs. The cyclops. The dwarf then you have found the place you need to stop. Fiji mermaid. All of the most awesome oddities!!

Owner Response

Thanks for all the kind words. It makes us so happy. Come see us again!

I throughly enjoyed my time here! The museum is incredibly well kept. The owner and staff were so friendly and had so many bizarre tales on each item! The gift shop is affordable and had many interesting pieces for sale. Oh and Penelope The Shop Dog is adorable! I would make this a regular stop if I lived closer.

Fantastic shop! I only wish I'd known about this place sooner. They have a highly curated and rotating collection of items for sale, and Bean and Jeremy are super chill and informative. We stayed for several hours, browsing and chatting with Bean and Jeremy. Then Jeremy offered to give us a personal tour of the adjoining museum which was MIND-BLOWING (but that's a separate review). I am sad we missed the tin type class by only a week, but I'm told it will come 'round again -- along with a taxidermy class (which frankly is not my thing but I might try it out anyway). I'm especially interested int the month-long warehouse sale. Hopefully I can pick up some quack medical devices and old doll parts!

TLDR: I'm writing my first review because I enjoyed my visit so much. I've been to a few oddities and curiosities expos and shops (In Colorado and New York). Rainy Day Revival's museum collection was definitely the largest and well taken care of that I've seen. There were plenty of things I hadn't seen before. From what I heard, their exhibits are continuously rotating/changing too. The gift shop's art and curiosity pieces were affordable and fun. I definitely added to my own collection. Also, everyone working there was so knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. I had so much fun. Thank you!

This place rocks!! I was on my way back from Chatanooga and knew I had to stop here. Bean was super nice and great to talk with. The Taxidermy in here is some of the best I've ever seen! If Taxidermy isn't your thing, they have plenty of other neat oddities to look at. Can't wait to come back soon :))
