Our kitchen tabletop finish was coming off. We weren’t sure of type of wood or what would be required. We talked to a few companies who said bring it in or send a photo. I explained the table was too big to bring in and the problem did not show up in a photo. Asim, owner/operator of Apex Furniture and Refinishing, came to our home to see what was needed. We were so impressed with his knowledge and agreed on the spot to work with him. We were amazed with the finished product. We had been a little concerned because of the color variations in the wood, but he did a great job, returned it sooner than expected, and it looked brand new.

Asim is a true craftsman and does incredible work. He refinished a farm table and bed frame that have been in the family for awhile and we love the outcome. He is very diligent about being true to the furniture and doing each item justice. You just have to be patient - it’s just him working hard to make everyone happy.

I took a pie shaped table that I inherited which had a snapped off curved ‘foot’ and showed it’s 80 years of life to Apex, and I got back a table like it was just made. The craftsmanship is just superb, and I recommend them completely. I intend now to take an old pedestal library table to them to be refinished, something I was hesitating to do until I could find THAT refinisher......found him!

Was extremely impressed with the honesty of what Apex said I needed but more importantly what I didn't need. Most other places will charge a hefty fee simply to look at something simple.
