I love this shop! It is my “go to”place for clothes. They always have a great selection of fun, unique women’s clothing items. Jewelry too. Everyone there is super nice, but Nancy is my favorite. She even went out of her way to help me find my cell phone when I lost it during my last visit.

I just love this place, about 50 or 60% of my wardrobe is from back by popular demand ,that’s so funny, but a most of my Clothes’s and accessories I bought had the brand new tags on them and I paid less than I would at any store. I don’t pay regular prices anymore for clothes that I like!

This shop is truly a hidden gem. I always find things that make me and my closet happy. The whole staff is so welcoming and helpful.

Prom is a harder sell so we have to be selective and make sure the dresses are ready to sell and styles that the girls are currently shopping for. We do hope your experience will not hinder you from shopping consignment in the future and thanks for letting us know as we are always striving to update our policies to reflect what our Consigners need in information. 

Did my research and decided to try to consign a few formal/prom dresses.  Drove from Cartersville (my fault).  Was told that the items needed to be dry cleaned and not altered at all.  I do NOT recall reading that on their website.  I was told my items were not wanted as they are "older".  That's fine....but as I shopped next door in their retail space, I did notice several items with stains/pulls/deodorant, etc.  Also, prices were expensive.

Hi Payne we are sorry for the experience. We do not purposely lay the clothing on the ground so perhaps it slid on when we laid it on the counter and for that we apologize. We appreciate the feedback and helpful hints and hope to see you again.

I did not find the staff very respectful. I initially called asking if they buy formal dresses.. to which a staff member invited me to bring it in but informed me they are “picky”. I decided to bring it in anyway because I wanted to check out the store! They declined the dress which is understandable. Not the style they want to carry.
As I was leaving I went to get my dress back but it was on the ground for me to pick up. I specifically brought the dress in on a hanger and protected by a bag. If you expect customers to be respectful and keep items on the racks instead of the ground, I would expect you to do the same..
Also, I would suggest adding clips to your curtains for the changing room. As I was changing, with the curtains closed, a lady pulled them back on me. I’m not sure if she was a customer or staff member.
On a good note, the store has some pretty cool pieces!
Maybe the online shopping is a better experience.

This is Melissa the owner of BBPD. I wanted to take a moment and respond and again apologize for the miscommunication and any actions that upset you. As I stated in my text to you: we had made note that you would return the the 14th and the two items we were unable to sell were then donated when you didn’t pick them up. As stated in the text I again apologized and reached out to the donation company who kindly was able to track the items down and return them to us. The ring and the belt were then shipped back to your address to save you the drive and because it is very important to me that we fix any issues that we possibly can. If it wasn’t stated before I would love to repeat what we try to tell everyone: we are in high season which means that drop offs can take 2-3 weeks to process but that means when we do the time doesn’t start till we enter then in and are able to give them the online attention and floor space. We do sometimes return items that we (the pricers of which there are a few) do not feel from past sales or statics will sell well and we don’t want to waste your time or our floor space. 
I want to emphasize that we are by no means perfect or flawless and as such humbly ask for your grace and forgiveness in this matter as I did state I would make sure to make it right by requesting the donation company to return the items and if. Or to sell them at the price we had planned to list them at and pay you the full amount- either way making you whole. 
As for Finders Keepers I want to make it clear that not only are we close friends with them but I worked there for 5 years before I bought BBPD so they are more than friends they are family. There is enough business to go around and we try to cheer each other on and send clients back and forth to provide what fits our area best. I am the founder of Atlanta Consignment Stores which is an organization to promote, advertise and educate the Atlanta area about all the great consignment stores that exist. We do bus tours yearly and FK is always on the list as we love their stores. 
I’d also like to address the perfume comment as we do accept perfume that is half full or more since it can’t be put back in and often people find they don’t like scents after trying to wear it for a bit. All other cosmetics that touch the body, face or can be filled have to be new in the box. 
The “old lady” is my mother and loves helping people and engaging with them about anything from picking out outfits, to praying over a hardship in their life or just listening. She loves what she does and gets a thrill from helping people in anyway possible. We like many have had a small period of a few weeks where it seemed like everyone was out of town or sick and our stores where trading employees as we are a small business and always prioritize our clients but will admit it was a bit stressful running on so few employees for several weeks. 
Again, we are by no means  perfect we are human and our goal is to fix any issue that might incur to the best of our ability. I am sorry that we were not able to meet your needs to the level of expectation you had and wish you well with FK as they are a fantastic organization and LeeAnn is an awesome owner. Have a fabulous day. 

Don't  leave anything  here.    For weeks the items they told me they were going to sell sat there. Not on sales floor and not even with my name on.them.after 2 weeks I got a text asking if a ring was mine.  Also if a pink skirt was mine. I was told the owner decided not to take them after  they had said yes. I live in Decatur..25 miles away. No one ever explained  that this was a conditional   acceptance. I told her...Kelly..how far away I lived and DO NOT GET RID OF MY ITEMS. I  was hoping  on the 12th I'd  go up but today, the 14th, I  make the drive.  I'm told my ticket had no mention to hold my items. They were gone.
This is the most  unprofessional  of all the consignment  store I've been in. I'm told they will sell half opened bottles of perfume?  Anything that will fit in you car that's  new?   I'm ok with Bible verses in a store, but when the elderly  sales lady decides  it's time yo msje awkward  small talk  because  I'm  the only one in the store...it gets weird.  She's  trying  to teach me that it's  winter break...most of EAST COBB is away...they go to the beach h...blah blah. " Not like in Lilburn, where people aren't  as well to do, so they don't go away.
You can't  make this up.

I ha e bought a few cute things, but will Never be back. And unlike what the  "saleslady" said, FINDERS KEEPERS  in Decatur  blows y'all away. Zero competition.

I usually preserve my energy for writing reviews, only for vendors/services that offer exceptional service, not to mention that it pains me to disparage a female owned business, but I was so abhorred by the service I received at the Marietta location earlier this week that I consider it a community service to write this review.

I was aiming to be a first time consigner and entered the facility with what I thought was a positive attitude to partner with a business that seems to generally have a decent reputation. Not sure whether it was just the Monday afternoon blues or the recent election cycle reinforcing the lack of decorum in America or the recent full moon, or any manner of things, but I was met with immediate attitude and disrespect by the oversized, poorly styled, older white woman who was coming on shift between 2:30-3:00pm on Monday, 2nd December at the Marietta location. She spoke to me poorly, rummaged through my belongings angrily, and for no obvious reason (to me, anyway), seemed to be disgusted by my very presence.

I am truly shocked that a business about image and fashion that should be in the business of customer service and local/community partnership choose to maintain staff who seem to be in full image and attitude contradiction to what I would imagine they are intending to portray.

I 100% do not recommend doing business with these people and only regret that designating negative stars is not an option in this instance.

Hi Jan, We are so sorry - you are 100% correct and we apologize for the delayed communication. The system was acting up last night so the live video host had to quickly try to fix it but we didn't have anyone in shipping/orders at that time. She had you on her list to reach out to today after we open at 11. We apologize for the confusion. The system was having issues and the host realized it right away and corrected it within minutes and it was quickly resolved so we appreciate your patience and understanding as the systems are silly at times. I am sure she will email you today. We welcome you to try again later as this doesn't happen often. 

Poor customer service. Bought something from their website for the 1st time as I am careful buying online from a consignment shops. They cancelled it right away with no explanation. Saw in Ebay for a higher price. Checked their Facebook page to ask but saw a Live Selling on Facebook telling her viewers that she told them not to buy the purse because it needs correction? Like hey not everyone is on Facebook. I mean it wasnt a bargain price in the 1st place. Well not on my list to buy from anymore. Just bad experience.

Instead of making you wait for us to locate the purses (management went ahead an approved a payout) so that you didn’t have to wait too long. We are sorry to hear that you felt dismissed as that is never our intention - we always strive to exceed our consignors expectations in all aspects. We never discriminate due to age, race or religion. We appreciate you doing business with us and do hope that you will try us again in the future. 

I called to let them know I was coming to pick up my purses. When I got there the nonchalant lady at the register said they couldn't find them. She said we'll pay you for them. That's fine, but they were so dismissive!! I'm sure they don't treat ALL customers this way should an issue arise. Trust me I feel the vibes in that Marrietta store, which tells me to stay away!

I used them to sell and that was fine but I called back to ask a simple question and the woman I spoke with was so rude. Lol you’d think as a recent customer I could at least get decent customer service. I can handle a “no “ but it’s how you say it that matters 😉 is it because I’m black?
