Me and my wife came into the shop today and drove an hour and a half just to see the shop and we met Mr. Ideker and had the best experience we’ve had in a very long time! Such a great selection and we enjoyed conversing with him and his knowledge of books is priceless! Great store and even better guy! Thank you

Came with my wife stephanie and let me tell you...Steve is a one of a kid wonderful gentlemen. He made my wife and myself feel right at home in their incredible selection of literature. For a local business that has a wide variety of both high priced and low priced books I felt like a welcome guest in a place they would consider home. From educating us on proper handling of books to encouraging us to pick up antique literature that is well above my status as a person. I cannot recommend this place enough. They have a very unique selection from various periods of time and styles of literature. We are very excited to return in get lost in this corner bookstore. Thank you Steve for making our first time there such a memorable experience.

My husband and I traveled from Athens and took some old family books in to the store one Thursday in January. Despite having little of value that Sonny wanted, he was exceedingly generous with his time and showed us around, explained why our otherwise beautiful books really held no value except to us personally, or as potential gifts to friends, and in general was just plain fun to converse with on all sorts of topics. He knew within just a few minutes of perusing our boxes that we didn’t really have business to conduct, yet we ended up staying there two hours and totally enjoyed the time spent. Truly a great guy - pleasant and generous - and we enjoyed the amazing collection of books of jaw-dropping beauty . Definitely go visit if you are a fan of old books. This is an incredibly warm and welcoming store - not to mention the fun of all the other booths within the City Antiques building! I’m definitely going back on a special trip when I have even more time to enjoy all of the delights on offer. Thanks Sonny!

There is so much to look at don't expect to be a quick trip it's huge

Sonny was great, I took a very old and precious family Bible to him to take a look at and have restored, they did a beautiful job...it looks wonderful! A great store to just go and see the fantastic collection of rare books. I highly recommend you check it out and meet Sonny! A super guy!

Visiting from Canada and heard about this amazing antiquarian bookshop. As a used bookstore fan, this ranks near the top. Sonny and Steve were extremely kind and helpful. There are no $2.00 bargains here, but that’s not the purpose. This is for serious collectors. I walked out with a first edition Howard Pyle book ($250) and quite happy. I’ll be back.

What an incredible Experience and place. One of the most amazing private collection of books I have seen. Sonny is so knowledgeable, kind and willing to share so much. If everyone offered the kind of service and hospitality he does businesses would be so much better. My whole family cannot wait to return.
