I had a 34 year old wall clock that stopped chiming. I was initially reluctant to drive from HHI to Savannah to attempt to have it repaired. I'm so glad I went!! Ron Horton was polite, patient and thorough in his assessment of my clock. After evaluating his recommendations I decided to replace my clock with a wonderful vintage clock from him. I love it and highly recommend this business. Besides his expertise, he has a wonderful collection of antique and vintage clocks from grandfather clocks to carriage clocks. He is a "master"craftsman. Ron, you are the best!!
Thanks so much John for coming by! It was a pleasure meeting you and should you have questions about your new clock, don't hesitate to call. Hope to see you again soon!!

Ron did a fabulous job cleaning and repairing my 1750s grandfather clock. He kept me advised of the work and sent pictures of the repairs as he went along. It is beautiful. He also managed to repair a ships clock which I thought was a goner.

Ron is a true craftsman. We had taken our antique mantle clock to another repair shop less than a year ago and after waiting nearly 3 months, got it back barely running. Ron had it rebuilt in less than a week and it runs like new! Don't trust your valuable timepieces to any one but Ron. His charge for remarkable service is more than fair and the quality of his work is second to none.
Thanks so much Ken for the opportunity to service your clock which is family heirloom. It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife. Feel free to come in and browse thru my showroom as inventory is always changing. Call me anytime with question or concern regarding your clock. Thanks Again!! Ron

I had a great clock repair experience with Ron at Coastal Clockworks. I cold-called him explaining the issue with my cherished antique school clock with a fusee movement that was giving me trouble. He asked me to bring it in; took a look at the movement; and almost immediately determined what might be the problem. I agreed to leave it with him; he quoted me a fair price; and suggested he would complete the work in 4-5 weeks which is pretty quick in Savannah. Amazingly, it was ready to go in a week! He had dismantled it, fixed the problem; cleaned it up; provided me with progress photos; even glued a flaw in the case. Ron is very personable and clearly knows what he's doing. I highly recommend Coastal Clockworks.
Thanks Bob for the opportunity to fix your cherished heirloom! I love working on fusee clocks as the quality also shows. Please don't hesitate to call with any questions or concerns you may have. Feel free to come and visit my shop anytime. Ron Horton
