About This Store

The Thrift Shop-Navy Marine Corps Relief Society in Honolulu, Hawaii is a unique thrift store that caters specifically to the needs of military service members and their families. As described by one reviewer, it is "10x better than the overpriced and trashy air force spouses thrift shop" and offers a "good reasonably priced selection" with "much friendlier staff/volunteers." According to the reviews, this thrift store has a diverse inventory that includes "mass market to designer items" and is frequently refreshed, so customers can "go once or twice a month and see completely new items." The store is praised for its cleanliness and organization, with one reviewer simply stating it is a "Clean and organized thrift shop." The Thrift Shop-Navy Marine Corps Relief Society is particularly valued by the military community it serves. As one reviewer noted, "This thrift store and others like it are a very important resource for many service members and their families. I encourage everyone to shop and donate here first before going off base." Another reviewer shared, "Your second hand goods can help someone in need and junior sailors could always use your uniform rank and insignias when you advance or retire. New uniforms are expensive, so please make the time to check here first." Customers consistently highlight the friendly and welcoming staff and volunteers, with one stating, "The amazing ladies that work here are very helpful." Another reviewer raved, "VERY friendly staff/volunteers. Found 7 items of baby clothes for $2.25 total! I was shocked. Will definitely return."

I really like this thrift shop. It is clean and the volunteers are friendly and welcoming. It is my favorite place to donate to as well as shop. They have everything, from mass market to designer items. Their selection also changes frequently enough that you can go once or twice a month and see completely new items. The posted hours are correct and they have even started putting out signs down the road when they are open. Yes, they do take a summer break, but they post a sign when they will be back. I think some of the negative reviews on here don't reflect the current shop, or the spirit of the shop as I have experienced it over the last 10 years.

Love coming here. The people are great and are always nice. The prices are the best. Especially on their 1/2 off sales. Of course I always buy too much. The thrift shop really saves you money and helps the military. I have been coming here for years and never had a problem. The door was always open as posted. They even answered the phone to tell me their special for the day! Come and get your treasures here. You won't regret it and will certainly return.

This is a great place to donate items rather than goodwill, salvation or savers. Hours vary from time to time due to staff limitations. You have to understand they are volunteers. All proceeds from their sales funds military women who needs assistance. The amazing ladies that work here are very helpful. They have a drop off container across their entrance right at the parking lot. Please be nice & and have a great day! Also this is at pearl harbor. Pass Arizona Hall & Utah hall. Hickam have their own thrift store.

Temporarily on summer break until July 6! Currently correct Google map location, Great prices, friendly staff, easy to donate to their shed as well. And it makes me feel good to know my money is going toward a good cause :). These are the current hours listed.
