Im just speechless, this store restored my excitement and inner child joy. Definitely coming back! David the owner is a walking time capsule that knows every bit of history in each item, the story telling along with the colorful, historical pieces makes for a timeless experience! Can’t wait to come back!

Endangered Pieces is this antique-lover and interiors designers heaven on earth! I spent a couple of hours wandering through here, but honestly I could have spent days. David has sourced such incredible art, tchotchkes, furniture, salvaged architectural pieces, and so much more. As others have mentioned, it costs $2 to enter (Venmo works fine) but it’s worth more than that. I ended up with a bronze sculpture that I absolutely love, which David gave me a great deal on and even provided the history of the piece. Highly recommend this spot as well as his son’s store called Antique Freak!
Some customers are such a pleasure to interact with whether they purchase something or not and you were a prime example, mahalo for your review.

Wow, this place is awesome! My favorite place to stop on the way to the airport! The owner is a wonderful, funny character. We picked up a beautiful monkey pod wooden Buddha and brought it back. Carry-on to San Francisco :-) what a great memory every time we see it on the deck :-)

I travel all over Europe and the United States looking for unique antiques and Endangered Pieces in Maui is one of the most unique stores I have ever been to. If you’re hunting for uranium glass, this is the place and he always has quite a few pieces. His store has everything from furniture, lighting, jewelry, paintings, porcelain, crystal, clocks and lots of little items to see. If you want French chandeliers, he has them if you want hand carved stone sculptures, he’s got them. He does have some art work that you wouldn’t want your kids to see so keep that in mind if your kids are traveling with you. He has multiple buildings and tons of stuff so if you like digging through antiques it will take quite a bit of time so my advice is don’t go on an empty stomach, go get a bite to eat and then head over to his place. He’s not far from Costco so his store is easy to find. Antique hunters this is a definite stop on your next trip to Maui.
I appreciate those kind words and delighted you enjoyed your journey through my shop. David

This place is AMAZING. You pay $2 to get in and then there are endless nooks and hidden spots to find the most amazing treasures. The owner, David, is welcoming, helpful and full of great stories. You can easily spend hours here. The amethyst city alone is unreal. A must see in Maui!
Happy to hear you appreciated the experience, you were a pleasure to chat with. David
