Acorn Antiques and Consignments is one of my favorite locally owned (by a woman, no less!) shops on Main Street. It always has something new to look at, and I've had success with consigning there, too. The owner knows her way around antiques, is very friendly, personable and fun to talk to. Now that she's moved across the way to 314 Main Street, there is now more room for furniture and larger items in the basement. Make sure you go downstairs - it's definitely worth a look!

I appreciate that this antique store is not jam-packed. There is a great selection, but you're not bumping into other items to look at something. The layout of the merchandise is fantastic and everything has been thoughtfully arranged. There are many beautiful items, the prices are not outrageous and the staff/owner was very pleasant and helpful. I was hunting for an antique teacup and saucer for photography and found this gem! I will certainly be a return customer.

Nice shop. Expensive, I think the owner is moving down the street.
