Good clean items. Probably the 2nd best in Des Moines.

Love this place if you have staff you want to get rid of this is the place.You can make a little bit of money.

Big selection. I thought the housewares section was overpriced. I like the markdown policy. Things get cheaper the longer they sit on the shelf. Looks like a great place for seasonal decorations. Nice selection of luggage. Again pricier than the thrift stores but better quality and a lot to choose from. Movies looked reasonably priced. Senior discount days. I also think there's a veteran's discount. Nice clean bathrooms. Nice dressing rooms.

You can find just about anything in here. Prices have gone up on shoes I noticed which I don't like but watch the dates on tickets because they offer discounts based on how long the item has been there.

Stuff Etc is one of my favorite places to go thrifting!! I always find something I want/need when I go there! The merchandise dates for deals are always posted right inside the front door. If an item has a date two months old, it's 50% off!! If an item is three months old, it's 80% off!! The Associates are always helpful and kind if I can't locate something on my list! Since I don't live in Des Moines, I make a point of going there whenever I'm in town! I highly recommend it for all thrifters!!

I stopped into Stuff on a Saturday and this beautiful blue jumpsuit caught my eye. I didn’t buy it, but couldn’t stop thinking about it. I stopped in on Thursday to try to find it with no luck. I asked one of the staff members if they’ve by chance seen it, and one of them pointed me to a rack they recommended I look through. I found the jumpsuit! But unfortunately they had a bit of trouble finding the tag. The same staff member, Calea (I’m probably spelling that wrong) went out of her way to help me so that I’d be able to go home with the gorgeous blue jumpsuit. Her willingness to go out of her way for a simple piece of clothing really made my whole day. I’m writing this review in hopes that someone sees this and recognizes her for her outstanding customer service.

As a consighnor, I appreciate the responsiveness of the manager. Anyone can have issues, but a true leader will take accountability and work to make things right. This is the attitude that will keep me selling quality items at Stuff Etc, in Clive. Thank you for being trustworthy and attending to your buyers, but also those of us who have items to sell.

This place has gotten kind of stuffy. Seems that for a consignment store (higher prices than normal 2nd hand stores) that it would be more organized but seems that they have given up on their organizational skills. I'm giving it a 5 star because the person who helped me at the front was so nice.

Always find treasures and spend too much money. Also, great place to buy high quality secondhand clothes. Got my husband a Grunt Style shirt he had been wanting to order for $5.49. It was a stupid good price!!

This is the grandaddy of 2nd hand stores! They get such cool stuff, and they always get new and different stuff. You can't go wrong, because they get deals and steals. They might have really nice furniture, or great clothes? You just never know. You may see something you didn't even know you liked, but don't hold off buying, because stuff goes fast at a place like this! I've missed some really great stuff.
