I can't recommend The Copper Canary enough! I was searching high and low for someone who could help restore my great-grandmother’s platinum and diamond ring—an incredibly sentimental piece that had been worn daily since the early 1940s. Not many jewelers today have the expertise to work with platinum, let alone handle such a delicate restoration. The ring had seen prior repairs in white gold, and I was at risk of losing some of the stones altogether. From the moment I walked in, the team at The Copper Canary was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. They took the time to show me examples of their previous restoration work, and I immediately knew I was in good hands. They offered me a very fair price for the full restoration—a task that required meticulous care—and stuck precisely to their promised timeline, which I deeply appreciated. (Do note that they require payment upfront, but it's absolutely worth it!) When the restoration was complete, I brought my 92-year-old grandmother along to pick it up. The moment she saw the ring, it was like stepping back in time. The Copper Canary not only restored it to its original splendor but also noticed and recreated tiny accent details that had worn away over the decades. Their expertise in vintage jewelry is unmatched, and their attention to detail is nothing short of extraordinary. After we took my grandma out to dinner and she told us a lot of stories about going to get it and memories she had not shared before, she cried in the car and told me 'dont worry its happy tears' Beyond their restoration work, they also have a stunning collection of vintage pieces. It's never too late to start an heirloom tradition in your family, and if you have old jewelry in need of love, they are truly phenomenal. The Copper Canary brought a cherished family treasure back to life, and for that, I will always be grateful.

Went to have my grandmother's ring cleaned and looked over to make sure it was structurally sound. Spent the afternoon doing that and so much more! The owners were both so welcoming and knowledgeable. I was greated with a latte and they took the time to answer all my jewelry history questions. A unique experience unlike any other jewelry store.

This was such an amazing experience! We came in to find wedding bands after not having great experiences at other places. Whether it was not great service or just not a great selection, I can guarantee you, you will not get that from Copper Canary. They were so tentative, listened so well, and even after trying on many bands and still not 100% set she went in the back to pull some more. Both mother and daughter were so sweet and really wanted to make sure we got what we wanted. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Also was so great to hear about there background and why they do what they do!

5 stars – A Hidden Gem in Boise! The Copper Canary is absolutely stunning—like walking into a jewelry museum. Amy and Perry, the owners, took such great care of us and made the whole experience so fun and personal. Amy helped me find bracelets that matched my style perfectly, and I felt so fashionable. I loved hearing how they rework vintage and estate jewelry, carefully matching stones and transforming old pieces into beautiful new earrings or necklaces. Their daughter, Allie, also designs new jewelry, which adds a fresh and creative layer to this special family-run business. And of course, Finley—their sweet little dog and official “Pawficer”—made sure we were on our best behavior! I’ve already recommended The Copper Canary to so many friends. It’s a must-visit in Boise.

Allie, Perry, Amy and the whole Copper Canary family have created the most inviting space to make some of life’s biggest purchases! The first time I went in to look at rings with my Fiancé, Allie and Perry made me feel so comfortable and made the experience so special! Not only do I have a one of a kind ring because everything they make is unique to your purchase, but they are custom building my wedding jewelry! It has been so much fun to create pieces that will be in my family for generations! Easily my favorite place to shop, and that’s dangerous… My grandma is getting my great grandparents wedding ring from 1937 fully restored, so from custom pieces to vintage restoration- they do it all and do it well!
