Much more organized then it use to be. I found a couple of new items to add to my home decor. People are very friendly there and polite.  Happy New Year.

They have paid me several times for item in good shape.  They might not pay a lot but it's better than nothing.  Give them a try.

Interesting place. Lots of stuff, and fun times browse. We've bought a lot of stuff because the prices are great. We keep going back because there is always something new. I'm also going to bring some stuff to sell them. Go here and check it out.

Very nice resale store, very clean and organized. Higher end furniture at pretty good prices...I found a great accent chair, and a large painting, and also a pampered chef stoneware item in almost new condition all together for under $50.00 (which is about what that stoneware would cost new). They also had lots of DVDs and blu~rays and lots of household decor and cookware.

A fun place to shop,  clean, well organized and a really nice and interesting selection.

They only accept good  things that they can resell and you receive a small amount of money.

A good experience all around.

Fun thrift shop that has a lot of cools finds and variety. Everything from holiday items, furniture, glassware, paintings, home goods, kitchen appliances and more. Love having a good thrift shop that's not Goodwill. Will definitely recommend and keep coming back to support. :)

I don't remember how I heard about this place, but I'm glad I decided to take a chance and stop in! This higher end used goods store reminds me of my favorite store in Minnesota. Everything is clean and well kept and organized with just a touch of the "treasure seeking" vibe. Prices are good and they even have some brand new pieces.

Will definitely be back in the future!

This store is a place which I visit regularly. It is not a large store yet full of cool and useful household items. I like the discount pricing to move out slow selling items. The turnover of used/repurposed items makes it fun to go searching in here. Every bargain shopper should check it out. The more I visit this place, the more I like it.

It was my first time going there. I was only in there for a few minutes. I was just looking for one thing in particular. But what I saw of the store was really nice, full of all kinds of clothes and shoes!! I was in a hurry, BUT I WILL go back again!!

One of the best 2nd hand stuff, a real treasure trove to hunt down some hidden gems. Store is well organized and super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The store used to be a mess but since I was last there, about a month ago, manager was really cleaning up and organizing! It looked wonderful! They take quality items and resale for a very nice, low price!

These guys are top notch.

They ride a fine and difficult line between giving sellers as much as they can, while also making sure items are priced reasonably for shoppers. Not easy work but they do it.

My advice if you're selling? Go in with a realistic expectation of what your item is worth. If you want almost as much as what you payed back in 1972 for your brass headboard or plaid sofa...you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

Go in knowing you're getting rid of something you no longer need, you're making a little cash, you're helping someone find a great piece they might otherwise couldn't afford, and you're supporting a honest, local small business with a lot of heart.

Shopping? You won't find a more courteous group of young adults waiting to accomodate you. Remember, this isn't a garage sale or a local church rummage sale; they have to keep the lights on. Going in with a roll of quarters and a bad attitude doesn't really fly here. Everything is already priced reasonably. Plus all items eventually go on clearance anyway.

Good merch. Good prices. And an awesome staff. Go in informed and open to the concept; you can't help but love it.

I called beforehand to make sure they even accept what I was looking to sell (a really nice espresso machine), and the man that answered was very courteous and patient with my inquiry. When I arrived, I was greeted right away, and the man I spoke with on the phone was at the counter and had recognized me as the person who called earlier. He was very knowledgeable and polite and took the time to explain in detail how they figure out the price offers they extend. As I walked around the store ( first time being there) I found some amazing deals on things that were all in great condition! When they were ready to present the offer, it was actually right on where I estimated it would be! I was very satisfied with the exchange, convenience, and service offered. I probably could have gotten a little more money if I tried to sell my items privately on various local resale websites, but I wasn't trying to spend all that time posting ads or dealing with back and forth communication and price haggling with random people, because I don't have time for that. This store was the perfect solution for quick and easy resale of home goods. I will be back for sure!

Quality items and in good condition! Much better than your typical Resale Shop, especially for household goods. I always check there first before going to a regular store. Also if you like vintage items like I do, you can find several. I would've given 5 stars but sometimes it feela a bit dusty,  but lots of reaale places do, right?

After visiting my doctor, I asked the receptionist if there were any good resale places in the area, and she happily replied, " Yes, I've found some really nice things at New Uses, by Aldi". I googled it. It was close. I wasn't disappointed! First, there was plenty of free parking.  It was handicapped accessible entry. The place was extremely neat and well organized. I found a great plant stand on wheels practically new, a nice African wall mask, and a unique letter M, which is my last initial. I plan to stop in after every doctors visit!

There are many good things to discover in this store. I went to my friend's house and saw a lot of interesting decors in their house and I cannot stop myself but compliment it and my friend shares that she bought those from this store. I was really interested that I did not hesitate to pay this place a visit. There are various choices and every corner has an interesting and unique item. I am not really good with designs and all but I am really interested with decors that I can put at home just to make it better and definitely not boring. The people inside the store are very friendly. As much as I wanted to buy a lot, I just bought for I think two to three items and the prices are very cheap plus the items is in in a good quality and it looks really nice. I definitely love this thrift store. I already recommended this place to my family and relatives. Highly recommended!

The store looks full but it's pretty sparce. Lots of those cool things you can find aren't there. I'm sure with the new Management, they cut back on what they take in. Need to up their lamp game.

This store is always filled with good finds, especially if you're able to find a "color special" item. They rotate colors and whichever color is on special is a percentage off. For example, "White tags are 25% off today." I've always seen 25% off, but I don't know for sure if they change the percentage.
The selling process is typical frustrating. Having worked in a resale bookstore I understand the used buying process and always assume I'll receive little to no money for my items.
Today, I sold 7 items: wall decor film slate, two paintings (unknown artist), two Chinese hanging lanterns (new with tag), one Harley Davidson metal plate wall decor, one large table cloth (new with tag). I received $5.50.
There is a Good Will 5 minutes away on Aurora Ave and Foothill Drive. The items New Uses does not purchase I drop off for donation right around the corner, which is convenient.
Overall, it's a good resale shop where hidden treasures can be found. It is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
My recommendation for management is to advertise tags in advance. Today, I saw many green tagged items I liked. If I knew when green tags would be on sale/special, I would come back the day of the green tag discount.

The prices are way better than Goodwill, no clothing but that's okay because if I want a clothing I guess I would go to Goodwill. I got an amazing find and they proved that it worked before I left. The manager and the cashier were so helpful and kind through the whole process as I had several questions about the product I was going to buy.
This place would have five stars if the paintings were better organized. I know there are some amazing paintings in there but I just can't dig through and perhaps accidentally push over a bunch of paintings. I know those are hard to store though, it's possibly just a personal preference of mine. If the paintings are better organized on one of my next trips I'm going to come back and give these guys five stars.

Ya know, this is a pretty neat little shop of household items. I always find holiday decorations, kitchen items, and furniture I don't have to pay much for and things are in good shape too. When I move soon I imagine many items will come from New Uses. Thanks guys!

Clean environment, the majority of the merchandise is in good condition, presented like a used book store - shelves loaded with odd and ends. Shelves are organised by use/theme. Great place to find decorations, dishware (Which are bundled so bits can't be lost), kitchen electronics, baskets, candle holders, furniture, and paintings. This store does not sell clothing or books.

Above average place for used (and some new furniture). Cheap couches, lot of clocks, and a bunch of random stuff that people try to sell off before trying to donate it to Goodwill. Interesting concept. Will probably look there if I need to furnish an apartment in the future.

From a resale or thrift store point of view it’s good to see what they have. This store is pretty small, and I thought pretty bare compared to every other resale place I have been to in the area. I also thought certain things were over priced for what they were. An old end table with a gash taken out of it? $49.50 🤔 - so if you have 30 min to browse go for it, just be prepared that it’s not your typical thrift store.

I would give this place 3 1/2 stars. As a shopper you can find quality products at pretty reasonable prices; their inventory changes quite often and they have a variety of design styles to meet everyone’s needs. The store is clean and the associates are friendly. However, I would not choose to resell my items here. They are very cheap offering you mere pennies on the dollar of the actual value of the item. For example I just tried to resell a 6 setting Kate Spade dish set with bowls and plates - they offered me less than $4…total. You’re better off listing on Facebook marketplace or going direct to consumer on eBay or another online resell outlet. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your input. We are trying to stay affordable while also offering the customer the most we can for their items so they sell to us. Our clearance sales are on our older items int he store so during the beginning of our sale is when you find the best deals with the color tags! We appreciate your feedback.

I used to shop here a lot. But unfortunately, the prices are a little high for me. I was just there again. I spent a big $6 bucks or so. I was interested in two other items, but they were NOT marked.
They mentioned the white & red color stickers was the discounted sale of the day. I really didn't see many things with that color. Hmm....
I like the facebook showing items for sale. But I think the price needs to be posted as well. Why? I am NOT going to drive there, and then I can't afford it.  So that would be helpful for myself. I think others would agree as well.

I don’t normally leave less than 5 stars for small businesses but wanted to point out how bad their prices are. The prices are at or near retail for user items. Goodwill has much better prices. This place prices items close to what eBay sells them for and often even higher. Just use caution and don’t get ripped off. Also one of the employees was bragging to a customer how he gets big discounts and. How he’s worked there for 5 years and soon the store will be his.

Hi Pam! We purchase items based on what our customers bring us, we have a few items that we get from vendors but that is primarily furniture and the add on items at the counter. Was there yesterday! Seems they sell items that were on clearance or ready for clearance in other Big Box stores. Seems the prices are just what those original stores would have charged. Seems like a needless layer of selling. Years ago I liked the business model. They purchased at a very low price from individuals. Many unique items and beautiful original Wall Art, throw rugs, high end small appliances, guality used items. Todays stock is predominantly China imports. Nothing to decorate as original or unique to create your own style.

Hi Becky, We are sorry you didn't find anything on your visit to our store.  We do buy items everyday so our selection changes daily!  We hope you stop by again, you never know what you'll find.  

This shop used to be very nice. When I first moved into my new house and my daughter moved into her new apartment, we stopped here occasionally to pick up certain items for our new homes but now it seems like there's not a lot of selection. A lot of the items are overpriced, not in good condition, or items are way out of style.  I think maybe they need to clear everything out and start over fresh with new more modern items and better selections. It definitely needs a new update. I guess if you are in the area it wouldn't hurt to stop and take a look but I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here.

It's like any other thrift store, buy your stuff (maybe) for 10 cents (maybe less) to the dollar and turn around and sell high, better off selling at a garage sale, you'd make more and sell about the same, plus you don't have to go out, load/unload, let them rummage threw your stuff only to lowball you, then you figure "I'll take it" ( since you pretty much spend the day loading your stuff up taking it over there waiting for them to look through it then loading most of it back up and taking it home) so ya...
But if you looking just to buy then it's much cleaner then goodwill so I'll give them that.

Place is well presented. A variety of home goods. Sold some stuff there and got an insulting low price for them. When I went to sell an electronics item I was offer $10 and was told by the manager that nobody would pay more for it; got $80 cash for the item at Disc Replay. So they either tried to pay me substantially less than it was worth or they dont know how to properly evaluate an items value

We did contact the city to see if we could get a donation box put on our lot, but they are not allowed. We do always encourage our customers to take our passes and donate them. I am sorry for any inconvenience this caused and I truly hope you will consider doing future business with us.

Really disappointed !! Can't believe I wasted my time & energy for $15!!

The manager refused most of my items & wanted me to transport them to Goodwill !!  He then told me they "don't have a truck" so they would "just dispose of them".  Really ?? I would bet my unwanted items show up in the store tomorrow "for sale".  You guys are really missing the boat on the unused items going in the garbage.  Goodwill Industries  would take them & give you a tax write-off for their face value.  Are you nuts?  Next time, my gently used items are going straight to charity for recycling.  Someone less fortunate would be thrilled to have my donations.  Totally, not worth it !!

So sorry we didn't meet your expectations but the only way we have items for you to buy is if people sell.  We do our best to try to maintain a good balance between giving great deals to our shoppers and fair offers to our sellers.

I took in an electric grill, like a panini or George Forman grill. I cleaned it throughly. It was given to me, but I never used it.  The guy told me it looked gross and it was not a item that would be good for resale.  It did not look gross.  It was an insult, but didn't want to argue.  I just took it and left. Not going back.

The owner only offered me $29 for 2 matching nightstands in excellent condition, which is insulting. Way lower than their value. It took him a week to respond to my emails, after his employee told me it would take up to 48 hours. In the email he told me he only wanted to buy two of my three pieces but when I got there he wanted the third piece as well... which I had left at home. This place is incompetent, and a scam. Avoid this establishment at all costs, folks. It's bad news.

I came here hoping to sell a few items. I was offered $25 for a new dvd player, an air fryer, a floor lamp, mixing bowls, spicy shelf, stocking hangers, and a camping stove. I checked eBay, Mercari, and offer up to see what these NEW items were selling for; resale totaled $125, on average, for these same exact items. (Mind you they are new in box and retail is over $250)

So...I did not have high expectations going in, but I did have a walk away number of $60... So I walked.

The point of this review is to inform you that New Uses will insult you with an offer so low, you might just feel stupid...I sure did.

We are sorry you didn't find what you were looking for.  The purple tags are one of our older clearance items at the end of the sale therefore they have been going fast which is why it is 70% off.  We do have quite a few still in the kitchen, figurine, DVD candle, and picture frame aisles.

Scam on the 70% of sale,. The purple tags are not purple tags.  I walked through the whole store twice and did not see one purple tag, not ONE.  Aside from the fact that they are not courteous enough to wear masks. No employee was wearing one either time. I have driven by many times and thought it was just trash.  It is. Keep driving.

This is the 2nd time I visit where a store associate behaves unprofessionally. Today at 440 pm or so, I wanted to purchase chairs. The handwritten proce tag said 2 for $35. When they were brought up to be rung up, the tag was gone and I was told that anyone could put a tag on the chair, and the price was actually $10 higher. He was insinuating I put the tag on the chairs, while he removed the $35 tag discretely without explaining the price difference.

I've worked retail, price errors happen. I would never question the integrity of a customer for an error an associate made.

I would have paid the $10 difference, but the taste in my mouth was too bad. What disgusting customer service. I will never be back. A business that tolerates such crummy customer service doesn't deserve my money.

I have visited this store many times before but I've only purchased a couple items a couple times out of the many times I visited. Majority of the time when people visit resale stores they look for deals on items that are used. Today i visited the store once again and found 2 end tables that were perfect for my home one was priced at $15 (which to me was over priced but I digress) the other $7. Well how can this be? Same table 2 different prices. I asked an associate in the store if they were willing to sell both tables at the same price of $7 each. The answer was no because they were priced 2 different days. Another associate went into justifying why that was their policy stating prices are set depending on the time frame of purchase from owner and how much similar items are going for around that same time therefore they CANT sell me one table at lower rate. Maybe I'm being a bit of a diva right now ( but I don't think so) but I found that odd that a resale store couldn't adjust a price. Even big retail stores price match! So I felt they didn't want or need my money therefore they lost out on a sale and possibly future sales from me. I'll just continue to visit Goodwill and other resale stores that won't try to "okie doke" me and at least if they are selling furniture they will set price the same as matching pieces. This wasn't great costumer service.
