Mike is an old friend of ours, our family has been shopping at Shomers Trading Post for ages, the refrigerator we bought there lasted forever.

Been coming here for years. Mike is awesome and the customers and team members are amazing.

I just want to thank Alfred for being such a great person! My car was broken down and he helped us out! Such a wonderful guy and a great example of what it means to be a community.

This is my second time purchasing from Trading Post. Over 5 years ago I bought a queen size pillow top which is still in great condition for the price. This time I purchased a king and full size mattress with box springs. I love the trading post. Quality for very affordable prices

Okay.. How do I put this? Mike has an abundance of stuff. And you always need SOMETHING, whether it's handfuls of loose sockets. Or a 5 gallon jugs of Tide laundry detergent. Or car batteries. Or even a new mattress. He deals in everything. And it's hit or miss. Much of the inventory changes from day to day.
He's also got a number of vehicles. As well as some trucks and heavy equipment.
And the best part is that I think Mikey's prices are usually off the top of his head. And his numbers are very fair. The best deals around, really..
And the atmosphere?..

If you let your guard down, you'll wind up sitting in one of the barber chairs along the wall, watching TV and eating cake and drinking coffee..
Schomer's is the best. I've been going there for years - most times I'm in town,  in fact. I make a habit of it. I've bought a lot of second hand tools there. And seen things I've never seen anywhere else before. It's small. But it's a good source of a lot of odds and ends. He buys stuff too..
I recommend dropping in on your way home. Circle the store. At some point, you'll have to ask Mike, "How much?.. "

Great place to find something vintage, unique, or just different. You never know when you may find tour own little treasure. The manager is very kind and helpful.

More of a man's store. Pretty dirty. Not a big selection.  The owner was cool,had a good sense of humor.  I was able to pick up an amber vase and a haeger vase. Gave me a fair deal.
