We had a wonderful experience at The Persian Knot. Mostafa is very knowledgable. He took care of repairs and cleaned our rugs. He also educated us about the history and origin of them, which we weren't informed of when purchased 25 years ago. Joe and I highly recommend The Persian Knot for anyone looking for oriental rugs.

My family has been buying rugs from the Persian knot for years. They carry a beautiful assortment of high-end, handwoven rugs. Their cleaning service is also top-notch. I’m always amazed at how they’re able to take rugs soiled by three Rottweilers and make them feel new and fresh again. In addition to the amazing rugs and cleanings, Mostafa is a really nice person and a true rug expert. He always takes the time to chat with us about what’s going on in our lives, and share interesting knowledge about the rugs. We’re lucky to have him and his store in our area!

I brought my rug in for cleaning after my dog became sick on the rug. The Persian Knot did a great job cleaning it, and you would never know that there had been any kind of accident on the rug. They were also very responsive to follow-up questions. Great service all around-Thanks again!!

Excellent business. I had two (very expensive) rugs cleaned and refurbished. The turnaround time was very quick and professional. I was able to learn more about my rugs which was very educational. I will certainly be going to The Persian Knot for care of my other area rugs in the future. Also a very convenient location for drop off and pickup and the cost was reasonable.

A priceless experience! I had two late 1800’s family heirloom rugs appraised. Due to being out of state, the appraisal was done virtually with Mostafa. He was respectful, extremely responsive and took the time to educate me on the pieces I have as well as options if I choose to sell. Thank you!

My husband and I wanted to have an appraisal done on my Grandmother's Oriental rug from the early 1900's. We recently met with Mostafa. He is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, calm and more than willing to answer my many questions. I am now very excited to keep and use the rug, which he said should last another 100 years. It was very interesting to find out so much about our rug and to be encouraged to keep it within our family for generations to come. Also, his shop is a treasure trove of colorful and artistically created rugs. Definitely a treat for the senses that could keep me looking and admiring for hours. Thank you, Mostafa, for the knowledge and services you offer.
Hi Karen, It was very nice to meet you and your husband Mike at my gallery. Thank you for writing such a wonderful review. I am so glad you decided to keep the rug and use it in your living room. I think it would be beauty and color to the room and more importantly keep the memories of your grand mother alive.

My husband and I recently met Mostafa Beik at his business, the Persian Knot, in Barrington, Illinois. We were bringing two Persian rugs to be cleaned. Our first impression was the beauty of the merchandise on display. Rugs of all sizes, color and design cover the walls and floor under lighting that enhances their unique qualities. We learned that Mostafa’s collection, gathered over decades, all have their own stories. They were made by artisans, often in their own homes, who imprinted their own style on each piece. These are rugs that will not be produced in the future. My husband has bought Persian rugs for the past forty years. He regrets that he did not meet Mostafa sooner. The opportunity to purchase rugs with the provenance of those on display at The Persian Knot is an investment in an art that is as beautiful and functional as it has been for centuries.

Thank you again and please come back soon so we can share more of our knowledge and our collection with you.
