By far going to visit Neighborhood Thrift is my favorite thing to do with free time :-)  We live an hour away but head over here about once a month. love love love this place, I always make sure to pop in when I am in town. I found this amazing green armchair half off for $12! Practically a steal and only minimal upholstery repair work. Staff is always very helpful and sweet. They are quick to set up pick up or bring things out to your car! If I could leave 100 stars I would!

I love this store, I don't think I've ever not found what I was looking for. Today I found a metal phone chair and it was 1/2 price. It needs TLC but I enjoy doing that.

Neighborhood Thrift is one of the best thrift stores I’ve found in central Illinois. The place is so big, you can easily spend an hour in here and can always find a few gems for great prices. Highly and always recommend.

This store is totally amazing! Items from antiques to new. It is a guarentee that you will see items that you have never seen or wanted but did not have access to buy.

This place is really cool and charming. It is a curated so you are paying a higher price than a regular thrift store. They mostly deal in furniture but they have art, accents, and knick knacks sprinkled in. It's definitely worth a visit

Never knew about this place until I had a friend start working there. Now the last 3 years I have been going in every couole weeks. This is my favorite thrift store in Bloomington! They have a great selection of items and the staff always greets you upon entering the store. It’s very large and always clean. I like the different levels and how they have everything organized.

All kinds of treasures here from rustic to mid century traditional; all at very reasonable prices! If you want original, reclaimed pieces or DIY furniture, I highly recommend stopping in.  I didn't need to find this gem, but I'm sure glad I did! And the staff are phenomenal and fun to do business with.

If you were looking for a thrift store packed with cool furniture and cool vendor booths this is your place! The quality and prices are above what you'd normally expect for the Midwest but that's because the staff has already picked through the junk for the gems! I've visited twice and seen a wide selection of mid-century chairs, side tables, dressers, credenzas, and more. It's a hipster's paradise.

Definitely an excellent selection of midcentury modern items large and small. Definitely worth the shop. Prices definitely seemed in line with what I've seen elsewhere. Not a lot of junk. Good stuff. The staff was great to work with.

Great inventory of even highly credentialed pieces at far below market value. Superb and intelligent staff make this a jewel of an establishment unsurpassed in its kind.  This joint is way more than your pedestrian "thrift store" and even better than most nominal "antique" stores.   Very cool surrounding downtown shops and eat/drink establishments.  Miss it at your own loss.

Great promotion with daily highlighted posts on Facebook. Really excellent selection of furniture, vinyl, vintage clothes, lamps, books, dish-ware, cameras, offs and ends and so much more. Several floors of items. Excellent communication with staff. They go above and beyond to help a customer. Would recommend to anyone coming to Bloomington who loves to thrift.

So much furniture... seems the store is endless. Definitely a bit cramped and claustrophobic in there, but seems like a good place to looks for unique pieces

Ever changing variety of used furniture and antiques.  Priced right and staff is friendly.

It's a nice place for great finds. Unfortunately, they will not hold anything for more than 7 days, even if it's fully paid for.

This place is actually pretty cool. It's a lot bigger than you'd think it is by looking at the storefront. There's 3 levels and at least 7 or 8 rooms. When you go in expect a lot of old stuff. A lot of it is priced really reasonably too. Not a huge book selection but if you're looking for an antique then this is your place to go.

We were looking for chairs and was not disappointed they have an enormous variety of chairs. Some of the furniture that they have is brand name. You can find in the basement a lot of them are new. They also had a variety of vinyl records and you can find some vintage items as well.

Should be called: Neighborhood Mostly Furniture Kind of Thrift Store Store. When I think of a thrift store I think of...well...a little bit of everything. This store has a lot of old furniture and that's it. So it's like, an old ass furniture store. I'm just saying: accuracy is key here.

Anyway, they have a lot of cool pieces: dope mid-century modern stuff, cool floor lamps, interesting tapestries, retro glassware etc. A little bit of everything, furniture-wise. The prices are okay; obviously if it's MCM, it's pretty pricey, but everything else was relatively reasonable. Not EXACTLY thrift store prices,even though the name of the store leads one to believe otherwise.

There are 3 floors. The main one has everything; the basement smells like mold and has 2 rooms filled with chairs and a small boombox blasting the radio; the upstairs room is tiny and has other random furniture pieces plus some glassware.

I like to go in here and have a look around whenever I'm in the area; they really do have some interesting vintage pieces.

I don't know why they have the word "thrift" in their name their prices are not what you see in a thrift store. My husband found a fur coat he was very interested in but there was some damage to the fur. When I asked them to reduce the price because of the condition of the item they said they would take $5 off the price! I wasn't willing to pay $80 for a coat that I was going to have to fix!!

Closed during regular business hours. Came to visit from an hour away, really disappointed.

You can find some cool things, but the prices are quite inflated. The store is generally unorganized and difficult to navigate.

Not a thrift store, which is fine, but change the name for a more accurate representation. Prices here were equal or higher than the antique store in my hometown.

The most over priced “thrift” store i’ve ever been to! They sell damaged items and give you attitude when you ask them to lower the price of something i’m already hesitant to buy because it’s way over priced for a second hand item. Why would i want to pay basically the original price for a second hand, damaged piece with a hole in it?

Deceitful and way overpriced!

I'm a long time customer, and I have purchased many unique items here. I follow on Facebook, and saw an old sign for sale in one of their Facebook posts a month ago. I thought about it for a while because it was kinda expensive for what it was. But I know my older brother would love it in his game room. Unfortunately the comment left on the post said it had been sold. Then I see it again yesterday on their Facebook post, and wonder if the previous sale fell through. I hurried in to buy it. Still I thought it was expensive for what it was. I asked if they would take any less for it. They said, "no, this just came in, so the price is what it is." I replied, "I saw it on your Facebook over a month ago." They explained "we have a warehouse we get items from. When one sells, we order another one." As I was checking out, I began to get suspicious. Minutes after I had paid, I found the exact item, exact in every way, on Amazon for half as much, with free prime shipping! It wasn't a unique antique. It was new, and marked up in price by at least 100%! I know this is a busniess... but I don't expect to find new items here that are reordered when sold.... and costing twice as much! This store has a "all sales are final" policy. I feel cheated. Yes, I should've done my homework before buying what I thought was an overpriced, but unique antique. So, buyer beware. I never expected to be ripped off here. I won't be back.

The most expensive thrift store I have ever been to. It looks like they go to garage and estate sales and scoop stuff up, then come back and only sell to the rich or collectors or something. Realllly unimpressed with the pricing. Table and chairs that you could commonly find road side is over $300.

These guys are clearly oblivious to what they buy from the sale they go to, but then price everything at double what an item is worth. Do your research before buying from these nimbys.

Very rude owner got cursed out because I asked why he changed the price when it was time to pay. I got the impression my complexion was a little too tan like bronze for him, was the energy I felt from him. I've very disappointed because the girl that does the desk usually is nice. Despite I've spent quite amount of money there over the past several months. I don't recommend this thrift store there's plenty more in the area. Blessings Multiplied 💯🗣️

i purchased a lovely table from this place, however, a couple weeks after my purchase i began foaming at the mouth randomly and blacking out and waking up in the woods covered in a mixture of feces and dirt. i come to find out that the table i purchases gave me rabies and i am now approximately $80,000 in debt due to medical bills.

BUYER'S BEWARE.... straight from employees mouth... they do not clean, wipe, disinfect anything they sell... that couch you might be intetested in... just know it could be carrying bed bugs or whatever else. Also senior citizens please bring someone with you, they will try to take advantage of you.
