Born Again Consignment Parlor entered into my life by way of a cool logo shared in a community Facebook group. (We are big fans of phoenix-branded things in this house!) Since then I have visited several times, attended events there, and I have even hosted my own! Each time I enter there, Summer and her amazing staff greet us warmly and provide such great service that it never is a question of if we will come back but one of when will we come back. This space is filled with so many treasures. From vintage clothes to board games to accessories to a cheese shredder in the shape of a guitar...it has so much variety, that each visit feels like you are going in for the first time. The shop is well curated and laid out thoughtfully. Some areas are even sorted by color or theme and it is just a joy to explore and see what you might find around the next corner. I have attended social events (their galentine's day was epic!), neighborhood events (meeting local politicians for example), and she also hosts artsy events like open mics and poetry readings. I have also hosted a cookie decorating party in the upstairs space (in a combined effort of Born Again Consignment Parlor and Chicago Cookie Commune). Summer really connects with her community and has even started a group for women entrepreneurs in the neighborhood. Like the Phoenix, who is reborn over and again, so is this shop. It is reborn in new products. It's reborn with a new purpose. It is reborn to improve the lives of those in and around it. And I am so excited to see what happens next. I also totally have my eye on a dress and I need to get over there and get it before I miss my chance! Check it out. I bet you'll find the perfect something. But at least you'll find the most perfect little shop to hunt for treasure in.

Stumbled upon this delightful store walking around south loop! It's a beautiful store with lovely jewelry, clothing, accessories, and trinkets for just about everyone!! The store owner Summer is so lovely :) Check it out and support small south asian owned businesses!!! wahoo!!

I had an amazing experience at the store. It is such a beautiful space and you can tell that the owner has taken such care and dedication to make it into a really aesthetically pleasing and functional store. The couch area downstairs just made me feel so zen and the whole vibe of the store is incredible. It reminds me of boutiques in London. They have so much stuff suited to all tastes and styles and there's so much variety and I love how many of these things are unique. If you were looking for somewhere to buy someone wonderful gifts for Christmas, birthdays etc., this is where you need to be going instead of commercial stores that mass produce. Prices are really reasonable too so there will be something in everybody's budget. I picked up a beautiful pair of earrings (I was so excited to wear them hence why there was only one in the picture because I just could not wait to get them on) and a gorgeous ring. This is also a woman, minority owned small business so that in and of itself is something to support. I really loved my visit and I will definitely be back! P.s. found an adorable bow for my cat in there too!

The space is so beautifully done and organized in a way that makes shopping functional and relaxing. You can tell the owner is passionate about her store and takes great care of the space and the customers. Amazing range of items across all price points. Highly recommend!

This place is SUCH a great addition not just to the South Loop, but Chicago in general!!! I was so thrilled to finally have a great consignment shop in the neighborhood, and the shop itself is so cute, charming, and thoughtfully curated. But my favorite thing about Born Again is the owner, Summer, who is so sweet and so passionate about what she does. So glad to have Born Again as my new go-to destination for buying gifts this holiday season!

Beautiful store and the sweetest ladies in there! Will be sure to stop by again!
