Settling an estate is a tough process, especially when it involves a collection of items that I was unsure of the value or how to find a home for the collection. Sammy helped me through this process with honesty, integrity and respect. Sammy thoroughly answered all my questions and offered sage advice as I navigated the uncharted waters of settling the estate.

Sammy assisted with the identification of a seemingly valuable De Wit map. He shared a lot of knowledge, has a lot of patience and gave his honest opinion. I advice anyone to buy, sell or auction their items here. Thanks again!

I live in Los Angeles and recently sold a 1951 map of Paris to New World Cartographic. The business owner, Sammy Berk, was very communicative, fair, and honest about the transaction. I recommend this business if you’re looking to sell/buy vintage and/or antique maps. 10/10 would recommend 👍

Great experience buying from New World Cartographic! Shipping was quick and the map I purchased was very well-packaged. I later called NWC because I was curious about something (not a complaint at all) and they spent some time educating me about the historical context of my map and others - above and beyond service! Would recommend NWC some other sites out there.

I reached out to Sammy after seeing the story on WGN about his acquisition of a set of blueprints of the old Chicago Stadium. My great-grandfather was the general contractor of the Stadium and my cousin and I thought it would be cool to these before they went to their new home with the Blackhawks. Sammy was super responsive and available on the date we arranged. We went with our husbands and what a treasure his entire studio is!! So many unique pieces and he was full of information when we had questions/comments. So glad we went, such a cool place!!

Owner Response

Thanks for the nice review! It was a pleasure hosting your group this afternoon. Also, the connection you have with the maps is very interesting. Come back again anytime!

Met the owner at a convention briefly. I grabbed his business card and ordered some items online. I also emailed him some questions. He answered everything quickly and went out of his way to include multiple photos of prints. What I ordered arrived packaged nicely and with additional information about the prints. Sammy is a class act and I plan to continue shopping in the site. Could be happier.

I just sold Sammy some vintage 60’s posters. He gave a fair price for them and was a pleasure to work with. Thanks Sammy.
