I just happen to find this little Gem by accident, lol. Its a little consignment store they have antiques, big and small, all very reasonably priced. My mother-in-law bought a small glass cabinet for dvds and nic-nacs. It was beautiful wood and glass 4 shelves for $70.00, which we thought was a great price. They have a range of items there glasses, dishes, pictures, furniture, rugs, etc. They had a cute small chandelier  for $25.00. I just bought one. I was bummed about that because the one they had was cuter! If you are into this kind of stuff or redecorating, give them a try.  It's small but worth it.

Great store for previously used home decor and furniture and china, crystal and more

I've shopped here for years, and love it so much that I volunteer there now! 3 large rooms of consignment furniture and home goods, with everything from famous brands like Waterford to one-of-a-kind items I can't resist. It's a non-profit too, so I feel good in every way when I shop! Great people too 😊

Love this Treasure House  sells things quickly due to tons of buyers coming here.  Don’t hesitate to bring your treasures here
And receive a check in a couple of weeks.

Great consignment store filled with furniture and China patterns. Half of the profits go to charity. It's well run, clean and very organized. Worth a look.

Diamond in the rough. Real wood expensive used furniture for a very reasonable price. They only carry items with the least amount of wear and tear.

I buy for resale and this is my favorite place to go when in town. Prices all regularly marked down, very high quality goods, knowledgeable and friendly staff. A must see if you haven't been there. Antiques and modern goods.

Excellent Values in  diverse furniture and  household accessory collections displayed in a continually changing complexion of donations/consignments. We have found some truly unusual pieces ranging from art work to classic TV Trays and Glass works. Best of all, proceeds of your purchase are donated to a variety of Documented Charities and expenses are kept low by a staff of volunteers who assist in the sales, marketing & administration of the operation.  It's a Good Thing for everyone, Do it!!

The village treasure house is a hidden gem. It's so close to Target, yet it's not visible from the street. I wouldn't have known this consignment store without internet. It has high quality furniture and houseware items with reasonable prices. The store is kept clean and orderly by the volunteers.

I love this place. My wife and I have bought many beautiful things here and the staff has been absolutely wonderful to us. Prices? Are you kidding me. Bargains galore. If you see something you like, buy it! Things turn over really fast here, everything priced for quick sale. I've purchased Limoge boxes, oil paintings, furniture, glassware, clocks, knick-knacks, collectibles. This place IS a treasure.

Two comments:  Village Treasure House is not closed.  All of the people who work there are volunteers, as the profits are for charitable donations.  I have never had an unfriendly exchange there, but they are not typical sales people!
Quality of merchandise is high. Prices change over time, so keep an eye on something if you think the price is too high.

it is a wonderful place to find all kinds of things from furniture, art work, glass ware, silverware, rugs nicknack etc.  The stuff is sold on consignment and the profits go to women charities  I know some of the volunteers that work there.  I got divorced and had to sell our house and split up the stuff and went over there and got a set of dining room chairs, a magnificant persian tabriz rug,  7 beautiful framed prints, glassware a mahagony end table and other things for a traction of what they would cost in a store

Everyone in the store was very nice and helpful. There are some beautiful pieces in great condition.

I love the mission of this non-profit! So I tried it out as a buyer and consignor.  Neither worked very well. We were under a time crunch and they were not willing to be flexible with times for considering items from my mother-in-law's estate. I understand they run on volunteers, but the only response I received when I called was, "We work for charities and we only do things on our schedule." Because my mother-in-law shopped there frequently, I thought I would visit as a customer. The store was clean, comfortable (in temperature and walkways), and very well staged. The people obviously take great care to display the items as you would place them in your home while leaving enough space to be ADA compliant. There were at least 4 people working there and 2 customers besides us. No one greeted us, no one asked if we were looking for anything special, or asked if we had questions. The only time somebody spoke to us was to ask us to leave because they were closing. This was 20 minutes before their website said they closed. I did not appreciate their aloofness/rudeness and I left buying none of the 4 items I was considering. If this was a for profit business I would only be giving it 2-3 stars, it gets 4 because I understand that coordinating volunteers can be like herding cats. I would suggest a Volunteer Training class with an emphasis on Customer Service, they clearly understand interior design.

Good place to sale and to buy your used furnitures

The staff when I was there for the first time a couple of weeks ago gave me the impression they could care less if I was there or not.  I had some questions on items I was interested in but didn't feel comfortable inquiring.  I did notice that they were friendly to those who were making purchases.   A friendly "hello" or "let me know if you have any questions" would go far. However, it is my understanding that the staff are all volunteers, so God bless them!  I will say that for the quality, the prices are very good. Even better is that the price goes down the longer the item is not sold. For me, besides having beautiful,  high end items, the biggest draw is that the profits are donated to charity.  I have highly recommended this place to many of my friends. I will be back!

Staff is upety. Not one person asked us if we had questions or needed help with anything in the entire 35 minutes we where here.
With most products over priced this resale shop is not for the bargain hunter.
Use your emanation and you will surely find items you'll be able to incorporate into your next design project.

Unfriendly staff and unwelcoming environment. If you don’t fit their typical customer demographic, you’ll get ignored. This lady working there followed me around and spoke condescendingly to me, assuming I wasn’t a customer? Then she got confused and offended when my parents decided to take their business elsewhere. Lol. Don’t shop here!! You’re better off going to the goodwill across the street!!!

Was not greeted ( despite clerk being at the door) or acknowledged during my visit. Clerk was preoccupied with gossiping with another shopper. Very unprofessional. Other shoppers (Caucasian) were attended to.

This place is racist. They are extra nice and gladly accommodate whites. How can this store be open to public and not allow anyone to use restrooms. Even in emergency cases. They will show you to use the restroom across the street. So rude.

I do so enjoy finding treasures here and appreciate the mission,, so this low score is not meant for the quality of the inventory. As other reviewers have mentioned, the staff leaves a bad taste in my mouth each and every time I go here. The last time I was  here, I was interrupted on a phone call with a terse, “Can I help you?” (I happened to be browsing before picking up an online order I had placed.) Then the associate brought out my bag and dropped it in a chair and said, “Here you go,” and walked away. This is just one example. From someone who worked retail for years in my youth, every volunteer could use some real retail training on how to greet and treat customers.

Brought beautiful items in. Everything was refused. Most of the people working/volunteering had no idea what they were doing. Very frustrating.

We apologize if the responses you received re: your furniture were brief and not explanatory.  We accept items based on 1) condition 2) style, 3) brand and 4) customer demand - and there are also times when we are overcrowded and have to decline items due to limited space in our shop (and no extra storage facility).  We will be sure to provide more explanation in our future correspondence.

Sent pics of a vintage sideboard that resembled one they have in stock and receive a tony declineation   citing not saleable.  But it's vintage in  excellent shape so ok.  THEN I send in pics of a very high end dining room set.  Receive very curt email declining with no explanation. Toney like don't bother us again.  Too bad cuz I  selected them believing in their mission.
