Affordable unique furniture items and vintage knickknacks. If you want to avoid Ikea everything and like items in real wood with a distinct vintage flair, this is a great place in Springfield compared to other stores. Nice staff too...local and friendly.

I've always heard about Abe's Trading Post in Springfield Illinois. But I have never been and I have lived in Springfield for over two decades. I went in search of something for a family member and with straight to the counter where the lady was more than happy to assist me. I asked for my item and she knew exactly where it was. I love that! Great prices to! Great customer service!

Visited this location for the first time yesterday and left with numerous great items for amazing prices. Workers were super helpful and provided information on the various booths. Advised the worker we would be back today to pick up some furniture we purchased and when we arrived today the furniture was disassembled, wrapped, and ready for transport. A worker even loaded it up and moved it to the dock and into our vehicle. Overall thrilled with our purchases and the wonderful customer service we experienced. Will definitely return.

They have improved on the outer appearance of their building with fresh coat of paint new awesome signs, graveled parking lot, and double door entrance.  Very nice!   Great items and prices!  Check them out!

I've been shopping @ Abe's for many years, and always walk away with something I need or want. Their prices are very reasonable, and the merchandise is generally good quality. I go there first! Currently, they're going through a refurbishing...reorganizing...cleaning it up quite a bit. Though the prices are a tad higher, I still find Abe's to be a great place to shop.

MOST Consignment shops around Springfield use this store to fill their spaces with product !!!! they buy cheap from this place, paint it and resale it for 5 times the price !!!!
I can't mention names but I know several ladies who do this... So, stop by here first and grab yourself a deal - I am always finding something -

be aware that allot of those "Fancier" consignments shop goodwill and salvation army for things to resale at higher prices - don't get ripped off - support what thrift stores are still honest !!!!!

I looked around and saw some decent furniture. Prices are very reasonable. Just not what I was looking for.

This place has a lot of used furniture, much of it with a lot of usable life left. If you are looking for a desk, hutch, or table this is a good place.

We like to shop at Abe's for good deals in the summer when it's warmer. It's far too cold inside to shop in the winter time. The owners are awesome!

Fun store to browse...my only real complaint was it was freezing in there 🥶

The staff was extremely friendly and let me know to talk to them if I wanted to get a deal on anything I saw that I was interested in. For the most part the store was very clean and well organized. I found quite a few great things and got a deal on several things. The only thing that was a downfall in my opinion was the fact that I paid $5 for a ring there and then I went down the street to Real Deals and found the same ring in one of their plastic bins for $0.50. I was fairly annoyed about that. But I'm chalking it up to the fact that people just brought stuff in to sell and maybe they had paid more for it and I just happened to find a deal at that other store. All in all I would recommend.

I saw several pieces of furniture I would have bought if I lived in Springfield. I bought several items there. Large selection of vintage items. Plan on visiting again when I visit family in Springfield. Clean store. Helpful, yet not intrusive staff.

I love Abe's tradin Post and I have bought a lot of furniture from themthey have a very good selection of antique furniture you just may find that special item you've been looking for check it out you won't regret it

Lots of that's unique items in here antiques fun stuff good place to spend 30 to 40 minutes wandering around just looking at stuff had a lot of fun here.

It's fun seeing the vintage and old school items still being circulated.   Fair prices, good help with moving it to the House was also cool.

Mostly all furniture. The people who work there are super nice. Prices are very high for used items.

It was nice however some things seemed a little overpriced for used items

The whole place smells of cat urine covered poorly with air freshener and plug ins. It was so strong my friend and I had to leave because we started feeling physically ill

The majority of their items were ridiculously over priced. I had to test a lamp myself to see if it worked and it didn't. The staff didn't care.
