Had the opportunity to visit this shop during my recent vintage toy hunting trip and it is for sure on my TOP 3. The staff and the owner are very nice, the offer and selection inside the shop is amazing, and the prices quite fair. Ended up buying a variety of items (MOTU, GI Joe, etc.) and I was even presented with an accessory I was looking for to complete my Stridor. Highly recommended and will definitely return one day if I have the opportunity.

This is the best place to go look at some collectibles and buy toys there. My son lives to come here because they have those hot toys action figures that people like and i even found sine time for me as well. They have some good prices and the employees are awesome. We will most definitely be back

Traveled from Kankakee, IL Not only was I impressed by the selection of toys and collectibles but the prices were great as well. The location was easy to find, store was clean and well organized and the staff/owners were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. What a great, fun store. Brought back so many memories.

Big Collection, friendly staff, and fair prices

Very big selection of Toys , Funko pops and comics much bigger location than where they originally were if you have never been there I very much do recommend going have yourself a good looking round you may find something cool.

The rest of this review is just my own personal opinion of couple encounters it still quite a neat little shop and I hope my review does not deter anybody from checking it out....

Frequent visitor of their original Crown Point location by the square. Always enjoyed going in and talking to the guys they were always very friendly but ever since they've moved to the new location The vibes been off the atmosphere is not as welcoming there less engaging something's different and it's not just the location.

Found some great old time figures to add to my collection.

Great store!! Love the endless selection of new and vintage toys!!! So addictive...I need to go now...see you guys soon

Honestly I came here with my dad a few times to look around, not much of a toy collector but oh my gosh! I love this place. I found some comics, and some pop figures that I haven't been able to find in stores. The staff is so lovely everytime I've been in there with my family.

Pretty cool place! Must go if collecting or for the kids. Can do trades if worth it, people are nice as well. Definitely check out, we will return, just got mortal kombat but have marvel, dc, Barbie, Star Wars, chuckle, 5 nights at Freddy tmnt… list goes on. Great prices

This store is awesome!!! They have a wide of all sorts of toys both new and old. The staff is very friendly and inviting. I have gotten some great deals here, and will definitely be back!

Without a doubt the absolute BEST toy/collectible shop in the Chicagoland area. Make a trip to Crown Point. The selection of GI Joe (new and vintage), Star Wars (new and vintage), Marvel, higher end Hot Toys and other licenses is unmatched. The prices are also the best you’re going to find. You won’t leave empty handed or disappointed.

This is the place if you're a toy collector.  Prices are low, and you can find some minty in package stuff, even their loose figures seem like they only put out the best of the best.  Will be back very soon and every time I am in the area.

Amazing store and very friendly community feel!! Can’t recommend enough.   The staff that work in the store are very friendly and will go to huge lengths to help you! The store is clean, open and extremely inviting!

Since we moved here in 2021 my son has loved this shop. Constantly goes in to buy and is always surprised to find the things he’s been looking for. To explain how great the shop is I can do with one experience. My son spent close to 300 on an iron man die cast. His own birthday money. When we got home my son opened it and was putting pieces together. Well while doing this the arm broke. I called the store to explain what happened. He did tell me about the no refund policy but did take exception for it being a child and him spending his own money. So went to get the money for my son to turn right around and spend it all right back in the store haha. Not saying they will do this again because I do realize it’s the policy but it just explains what a great business this is and how they handle each situation to make it the best experience for all their customers. Also go check out the new location. More room and orderly. Right next store is the video game dept of their shop.

This is an amazing place.  A solid business with knowledgeable people who are not just waiting to collect the payment for services rendered.  Toy collectors are a varied sort of people and they handle it all like professionals.  I know that I am looking forward to making the trek again to see what the new store location has.  I recommend this store to any person who has ever felt jaded in buying vintage toys.  Your experience here will be good one and you will be back.

The selection was extensive and very well stocked.   I was also happy to see they have figures and other things "loose" which is great.   I'm a horrible collector and open everything anyway!

If you're into collectibles or pop culture and haven't been to this store, you are missing out! I have never seen so many Funkos at any store in my life. From Star Wars collectibles to comics, this store is a collectors dream. The owner gives fair prices and is very easy to work with. Totally recommend a visit for kids and adults! It's like stepping into a time machine. Great job staff!

Great place if your a fan of older figures from the 80s-2010s. the prices are much lower then they would be online and multiple times I was there I was able to get a gear haul of figures for 19$. you can even walk into the shop with 10$ and come out with something you like

We love this store.  There is such a great selection of current and older "toys". A large selection of action figures from so many different lines. Funko Pops galore and even pegs and pegs of Hot Wheels. The associates are so kind and helpful when we have questions.  I  highly recommend a trip here.

This store is great. Packed with awesome toys and things that bring back lots of memories. Lots of comics too. I've sold a few of my old collectables here and these folks offered very fair prices. Definitely planning to come back one day soon.

Great little spot, large selection. Loved the under 5 dollar bins right as you walk into the store, helps when bringing little ones in and getting something cool but yet affordable for most.

Crown Point Toys and Collectibles is off the wall amazing. Such a variety of toys! Very limited newer items. A lot of 80s 90s and 00s with a mixture for those looking for stuff found in your grandma's attic.

Pricing seems very fair from what I was looking at. Huge selection of loose figures all bagged so you don't need to worry about digging through bins and paint rubbing all over.

This is a must see store for anyone who has $10 to $1,000+ to spend!

I live in Los Angeles and discovered this store while in Crown Point visiting family. It is, hands down, one of the best stores of its kind that I have ever seen. It is extremely well organized, the selection is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. If you are an action figure or retro toy collector I cannot recommend it highly enough. Their inventory covers everything from classic 3 3/4" GI Joe and Star Wars figures from the 80s to modern "boutique" action figures from companies like Super 7 and Four Horsemen. Having hunted down similar stores all over SoCal I can honestly say that this store could go head-to-head with the absolute best of 'em. I cannot say enough good things.

Not only decent prices, but large selection of items as well as a helpful and friendly staff. This service isn’t limited to in store only. I also called to get updates on certain items and the staff is still friendly and very resourceful. Love this place!!!!!

Great place with a great collection of vintage toys! The staff was very knowledgeable about vintage toys. Their prices were competitive with other vintage shops. I definitely recommend checking out this shop! I plan on going back next time I'm in Northwest Indiana.

Wow! Best collectible toy shop ever! First of all, the prices are fantastic. Seriously, these gentlemen are actually looking to sell toys, not just display them and hang ridiculous price tags on them. Second, John, Tom, and Brian are awesome. Their enthusiasm and nostalgia fills the shop and wears off on everyone that walks through the door. There’s no “comic book guy” gatekeeper attitude in this shop. Every time I leave, I’m blown away by the fantastic deals and great conversations I’d just encountered. I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you’re looking for the happiest place on earth, skip Disney World and head over to Crown Point Toys and Collectibles!

I've been to the store twice to sell. The first time I came in on a Tuesday because I wasn't sure of the selling days (Wednesday through Sunday). The guys still helped me to sell a large collection to them even though one of the owners had to be called in because of the size of the collection. Super fair offer for all of it. I was actually very surprised. No nonsense back and forth or store credit. Just, "here's your cash offer." You can get still get store credit for trade-ins, of course. I came back today, almost a 90 minute drive, and received another very fair offer for a smaller collection. As for the store itself, it reminds me of walking through Toys R Us or Kay-Bee back in the day, when shelves were full of toys and everything was in stock. Tons of Funko Pops, all different series of figures from GI Joe to Star Wars to He-Man to Transformers to Wrestling and so much more. It's fun just walking through the aisles checking everything out. Some nice vintage stuff as well. And good prices! Super nice owners. Check them out. You won't be disappointed! I'll be back!

Been there twice and love the selection. If I lived closer I'd go twice a month not gonna lie. The guy who runs this place is one of the best store runners. Definitely hope to come back next month sometime. Highly recommend to any collector out there.

Great place.  A good variety. They have a large selection of loose figures. More than most places. The Prices are up and down. More than some places but less than others. The workers are cool.They let you shop and are there for questions. I went like 2 times in 2 weeks. O recommended it for any collector in the area.

This place is pretty awesome! They have the biggest stock of any store I have seen anywhere within a few hours of its location. From marvel legends to Star Wars to GI Joe to funko pops and more.  Pretty good prices and don’t have to deal with the hassle of online. You can buy, sell, or trade with them. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. A++ all around best store you are gonna find around as a whole. And I would know I have gone to stores from cp to Chicago to Valpo to down by Indy and this place easily takes them all! Gotta see too believe strongly recommend to collectors of any I listed above !

I love this store and I've been there before. I was excited to come back but felt very deterred to buy a $200 collectable after having a rude employee laugh at me, from behind the counter, for be excited when I spotted it. I love my collection and just wanted to add to it but I don't like getting a rude comment about something in your shop that I like. Felt odd, not to mention the same employee had also said something to my fiancee previously along the lines of "I don't speak weeb" like OK then maybe you shouldn't work here. I'd really like to go back to grab the figure I liked, unjudged...

Heard this place takes their time selling items and looking through before they offer a price. I was told take there here instead of Disc Replay. Had two boxes of funko pops and they guy took less than 2 min looking through them. Thought I would at least get a better offer if he actually took some time to look. Wont be back .

They have a lot of toys, I'll give them that. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. Some toys were rare, a lot were things you've seen in other places for a tiny bit more. Probably because they have a brick and mortar location and not just a booth at a show. If you are really into Funko Pops, this is the place for you. Stop by here if you're already in the area, but don't make a special trip just for this.

Very nice store! Lots of stuff to choose from. I do wish they had more girly stuff as woman do collect stuff as well, like dolls monster high etc, wanted to see more Harry Potter stuff as well!

Great toy store, been coming here for years. The bald guy that sits at the front by register I think his name is Brian is very rude. He doesn’t greet minorities. Even if you say hi he doesn’t say anything back very RUDE

The item you were looking wasn’t processed yet. We wouldn’t sell it because we had recently purchased it and knew we might have the accessories. So we wouldn’t sell it loose when we most likely could  complete it 

I came and visited this toy store 3 hours away from my hometown and saw a few cool things in there. There were 2 guys working in the shop and one of the guys was sitting on his phone and the other guy was pricing items behind the counter. There was one thing I saw in a bin that wasn’t priced yet and it was behind the counter and I asked if they’d sell it the way it was and whatever price they made, I’d buy it and they said no. The guy that was on his phone said “Sorry buddy, but we are busy today and don’t have time to do things like that today.” I was the only one in the shop😑. Fair pricing on most items, but they need a better staff instead of turning down customers with money ready to spend.

Sounds like online shopping might be a better choice for you. 

Why is it so difficult to get up and check and see if you have an item? Why do I have to drive all the way over there just to find out something you could’ve told me on the phone?

went to trade in 30+ pops and 4+ sized pops was told I'd receive 60$ cash. Tried calling prior for a estimation to save the gas and was told they couldn't give me that information over the phone only in person not only that but the owner didn't even take the time to look at everything he just threw me a price...
