The Brown County Old Country Store in Nashville, Indiana is a collectibles store that has earned high praise from its customers. According to one customer, Mark Dillard, "It is a nice place to visit. Bought some great stuff from there." Another reviewer, Jeremy Schonfeld, simply described it as a "Very nice little store." These brief but enthusiastic comments suggest that the Brown County Old Country Store offers a pleasant shopping experience and a curated selection of collectible items.
The store's most notable product seems to be its "Best Apple Butter 'Baked' ever!!!!!" as described by customer Richard Carney. Carney, who has been visiting the store for over 50 years, raves about the homemade, oven-baked apple butter, which he claims is the best he has ever tasted. He even recommends buying it "by the case," indicating that it is a must-try item for visitors.

Megan was an incredible waitress. We had a big party of 11, and she was ON IT. Accommodating, knowledgeable, and gave us the inside scoop on her favorite dishes! Food was good and large portions. FRIED GREEN TOMATOES. Would definitely eat here again!

Best Apple Butter ‘Baked’ ever!!!!! Buy pints by the case. Best for the last 50+ years. First visited in 1967-8. (Old-Fashioned, kitchen-made, Apples sweetened with sugar (non-sugar available) flavored with cinnamon, then baked in the oven). Lived in NJ for 40+ yrs but now live in NC for 15+ yrs. Only at Brown County’s Old Country Store in Nashville, IN.
