The owner was friendly and very knowledgabe on electronics. I am in Southern IN visiting the area from MN and was in the store on Mon 4/30. *I just saw a very recent review by this woman named Sharon (2*’ ‘s what a JOKE). Seems Like she gives jewelry stores bad reviews WHEN she doesn’t even know what she is reviewing in terms of WHAT jewelry she is buying? So the owner is HONEST and refunds her $300 on a “mistake. YET she BRAGS she got a valuable “Mystic Heirloom” ring owner didn’t know he had! She doesn’t want to get “ripped off” yet she has no apparently INTEGRITY going back his way! She should be BANNED as a reciewer. The AUDACITY of her to give the shop a 2* !!

Purchased a lovely vintage ring and a new pocket knife. Eugene was informative and helpful. Gave my daughter good advice and also plenty of time to try on the ring and make her decision. Thanks, we will be back in future : fun to browse the place even if not buying.

A staple stop every time we're in Nashville. Eugene and I could talk for hours if my wife would allow. If you're looking for solid vintage equipment, he either has it, or can point you in the right direction. Have photography questions, expect to hang out for a while.

Every time I walk in I feel like the shop owner is the person that I need to talk to get my next quest in life. The shop owner is definitely a character and a little overboard. Especially with the flirting if you are a woman, but he's a very cool person to start conversations with about almost anything. He has a lot of unique items and knowledge. Definitely one of the highlights of Nashville everytime I go. Edit: Everyone that I have taken to this shop has loved him. Just be prepared for his honest self. Go in with an open mind. :)

The things in this little shop celebrate a time when things were built by enthusiasts who took pride in their work. This shop houses the things that will be handed down for generations, in top quality condition. Are you looking for a quality receiver? He's got 30 of them from tube to solid state, all in top notch condition (and even more off site) Hasselblad? Kiev? He has them. Lenses filters and tripods? He has them. Enlargers? He's got a few. He also has quite a collection of vintage jewelry, which I'm less excited over, but its there and it all looks great. Gene, the owner is well informed on the history of these things, and can help you get exactly what you are looking for. He is also a fantastic photographer himself, and an all around character. Do not miss this shop if you are ever in Nashville.
