I go there all the time reasonable prices and deals, nice workers. All ways find good stuff.

Donations were easy! I was offered a donation receipt. Workers were pleasant and brought us large yellow donation baskets to fill.

This store is great ...staff has been professional and welcoming since they opened But, Whoever this new chick is with dark hair and black rim glasses needs to check her Attitude. I don't understand these Low Budget females who give you this Odd look over when you come in, as you're shopping and when you leave. My Coach Belt bag I was wearing cost More than she makes in a Day.  However, I LOVE the Christian Music keep doing your thing Adelante Thrift. For the Devils who don't like it .... There's other places to go.

I love this place It always has everything thar I am looking for. From heating pads, quality fair priced skirts, home organization, out doors, books, home office supplies, most items pennies on the dollar. weekly deals, this place does the shopping for me.

I have been shopping at Adelante thrift since moving to KCK five years ago. As other thrift stores around town have raised prices to unreasonable amounts, Adelante remains generally reasonable on most things. Mugs and small baskets .89, blankets 5.00, shirts $3-7, etc. I love their tagging system. Some things stay the same price if they’re hot items but they also have 25%, 50% off and .50 colored tags and a consistently rotating supply. Most furniture is priced low to move quickly.
They closed their fitting rooms during covid and don’t allow returns, which is the only downside. Therefore, I don’t buy pants there because I can’t try them on first. I take a risk with the $5 shirt. I mostly shop for housewares and jewelry there.
They have a locked but usable bathroom and the staff have always been friendly. Parking is easy and shared with other stores in the strip mall.
I also love their mission: they support Mission Adelante which supports immigrant and refugee families who come to KCK from all over the world.

I've been here many  times. They have good prices, and good items.

The store is great. They are not high priced at all. All the staff says hello and they change the store up from time to time and that makes it feel like a new store. The clothes are good too. Just wish they would stay open longer. But 5☆'s for me

Great experience. I really like the people and run into some good deals. Always worry that the word will get out and too many people will go but they seem to always get more good things that I want.

Tuesday is $5 for a bag of clothes with certain colored tags on them. I got a bag full of stuff for my soon to be Great Granddaughter 💖

Donated two truck loads of items from an estate sale - the staff were SUPER friendly and helpful. The store was laid out nicely and clean. Large selection and well organized.

What an awesome Thrift store!  I really just stopped in because my niece had been telling me about it.  I fell into a treasure trove of office desk chairs with great great prices!  Store content is continually changing so you can't shop here on the same day every time!

Everything is well displayed, clean and the employees were so welcoming.  The best thrift store I have been in.

Absolutely my favorite thrift store! The store is clean and well organized, the staff is always polite and genial, and the prices are great! I always find cute clothing, and I can walk in with twenty bucks and walk out with what practically amounts to a new wardrobe. They even have some stuff that still has store tags on! They also have a good selection of books, electronics, and furniture.

The fill a bag days are definitely a favorite!  Thanks for coming out!

Great place overall, prices are usually a bit higher than exspected. But the daily deals evens it out. Love the fill a bag for 5 bucks on Tuesdays.

Nice thriftstore, customer service is ok. The employees keep to themselves, don’t really acknowledge you unless you say something first. Pricing is decent compared to other thriftstores. Every now and then I find something really cool here. Its just kind of a laid back thriftstore. I enjoy it

The prices for the furniture were reasonable a few of them others you might as well go straight to the manufacturer

They really don't thoroughly check electronics out before selling them.

When it first opened I shopped there..but I think  prices are too high now for neighborhood  ..must have new management ..prices are too high now

I'm a thrift store shopper n well they were ok a  little pricey on certain items that I could go elsewhere to buy and def I would recommend people to wash the stuff n check out the items they purchase saw something that was a insect of some type cocooned on linen pretty gross honestly but I mean it happens the employees were nice n considering the fact this lady came acting fool the lady at the register kept her composure so besides the insect n drama lady I would go back to see what they have ..

Great sale items would've been nice if they would have mentioned the sale on everything being 25 percent off other than their discounted prices before I was checking out

I would have stayed longer and possibly bought something if I wasn't being beaten over the head with Christian Jesus music blaring over the intercom. Nothing against Christians or Christian run businesses but know operating this way is only going to keep a certain demographic in your store and at the end of the day isnt making a profit more important?

Great selection! Some prices are a little high, but there's always a sale going on something. Very friendly employees.

Used to love this place. Sometimes I would go a couple times a week....now probably once..twice a month. They used to put out good items.  Always left with something.  Not anymore leave with nothing most of the time. They used to put out nice jewelry at reasonable prices.....not anymore. The baby blankets and small blankets are laughable. I can get that size at Walmart for less brand new. I have donated items to this store before and will continue when it is convenient. Now when it isn't convenient I put most of my stuff to the curb with a free sign. ☺️

Like the store but sometimes the prices are a little high and they always have cult music on, would love if they put a actual radio station on

The don't have assistance to help carry large items onto the store. They will give  you a cart to help you.

We actually start to pull those items on Thursdays, not Tuesdays. All of the 50¢ items have already been through two $5 bag sale days and have been 50¢ for over half a week. We have to pull those items that have not sold in five weeks so that we can make room for new items.

Prices are too high on a lot of items, my biggest pet peeve is the way they go through the clothing before the bag sales on Tuesdays and pull the.0.50 items, actually seen this and asked a helper about it,. This turns customers away,they could actually make more profit over all and get all that stock out quicker if the prices were lower some and go back to 3 color tags for the bag sales. Reply not completely accurate, but l won't argue the point.

It's a decent store, however everything I come there seems to be a problem, tonight they announced at 6:45 that they were closing in 15 mins but then immediately shut the lights off, I won't be back

I have been donating here for years. I spent over 150 today at this non profit charity thrift store. I have donated thousands of dollars of clothing, building materials, and furniture to this thrift store and I never received one time a charitable slip for tax purposes. I make it a point to pay for my neighbors items in line as simply a gift to them. I post flyers in the thrift store for homes for rent in which I rent tons of homes to people who shop at the thrift store for affordable rates. Today I experienced  a very rude and diminishing experience from the thrift store manager Tara. Again I spent over 150 dollars today; I had over 7 bags while awaiting for my husband to arrive to pick me up. I simply wanted to wait in the shade so I took my basket to the shade area and notice there was a lady following me and staring at me. I notice right away that the lady was a drug addict and asked her for my safety is there a problem she rudely stated that I’m not supposed to have the basket and I asked her who she was she stated she works for the thrift shop and Landry mat while rudely  calling me out my name and using profanity and while she entered the thrift store I then proceeded to enter the thrift store behind her. I stated to Tara does she work here; Tara stated she is my daughter I said she is following me and has cursed me out, Tara then leaves the cashiers desk and goes outside while her daughter walks back to the Landry mat, I asked Tara May I ask to speak to the manager Tara stated  she was the manager I said well your daughter called me out my name, and was following me around the shopping center- Tara daughter was in the laundry mat with her toddler children and took it upon herself to follow me around the shopping center while her kids were left alone in the laundry mat. In short this is supposed to be a non profit organization while treating those who donate and spend money badly and rudely. I told Tara if I can’t wait in the shade for my husband to pick me up because I have 7 bags and it’s impossible for me to carry them all I will need a refund she laughed and said rudely we don’t give refunds. This is also a charity organization associated with  Christ a church treating the customer terrible and thinking nothing of it. I will be making complaints this so call charitable organization should be shamed. I know what a non profit organization is supposed to do for the community by behaving this way to a customer who donates- I have seen items I donated priced more then I purchased them for. While she was treating me this way the thrift store was inside selling my items I donated to customers. I will be making a complaint with the internal revenue services complaints against non profits

Terrible. Lady at register and lady putting on sold sticker both say can pick up the desk Saturday or Monday. $114 no problem. I swipe my card and when I look up theres some different lady handing me my receipt telling me I got 24 hours or they take the sticker off and resell it???? No youvtricked me random third person on a one desk transaction. They immediately refunded my card but the $114 not back in my bank account yet. Great business losing $114 less than 120 seconds after you made it. Definitely looking into what the law aays about this.

This may have been a rant post because of Wyandotte County's mask mandate.  Our store is actually very well stocked with some some high quality items and great deals.  WYCO lifted its mask mandate, effective 12/17/21, and fortunately, we are no longer required to ask customers to wear masks.

It barely has anything and now they are basically the only store that requires you to wear a mask after never having to since the beginning how does that make sense?
