Great card shop, my guy Ben hooked us up with some sweet cards and we will definitely be back!

I’d stopped by to see if they had any interest in any graded Pokemon cards and spoke with JP, either the manager or owner of the shop. He took a look at what I had and was very upfront and honest about why he wasn’t interested and suggested other ways I might be able to sell them. I greatly appreciated the transparency instead of trying to take advantage of a new customer.

Exceptional customer service and the single most impressive stock of TCG memorabilia I’ve seen in-person, whether it was Pokemon, sports cards, Lorcana, Yugioh, etc. There were dedicated sections for things I’d never even heard of. Will absolutely be coming back.

I usually dont leave reviews but I ordered a box of journey together and the packaging and shipping was amazing will definitely use them again for future orders and again the packing was exceptional tight no tears the box was perfect

Great variety and selections of TCG products that I am interested in! My first order got here quick and safe, had excellent packaging to keep  all of the booster boxes in perfect shape in transit! Extremely happy with the ability to get my first Japanese Pokemon boosters and One Piece boosters to my door fast and secure! Will definitely be recommending CC first from now on any time TCGs or Collectibles come up with friends or anyone else.

Best TCG store I’ve ever set foot in! Ray was super helpful and very informative! Great layout and amazing stock at reasonable prices. Came in last minute and they rushed our order to make sure we could get what we needed! Highly recommend!

Super chill and relaxing.  Very few stores sell Final Fantasy cards, and this is one of them! I love that they have a specialization and stick with it! Also super affordable (if you didn't go in with your husband) 😂

Pre-order a case of Prismatic for MSRP a few months ago. With the crazy value they have now, I was worried my order would get refunded. But they were shipped and delivered to me on release day. Saved me from waiting in lines and/or paying a premium.

This place is amazing! They are the nicest most helpful people on the planet with a fantastic stock! I was hunting down a special edition box that I was told there was no chance I would be able to find it. I called and they happened to have it and they even set it to the side for me! There’s no other card shop I would want to go to! It’s more than worth the 30 minute drive for me

Always have a great experience here. Service is always great and willing to spend time with us with iur questions about games. They seem to get the best stock in when it seems like other shops around struggle to get what they can. Is now my first go to spot.

Great place, really cool to have a place like this in Kansas City. They had pretty much every card game you could imagine, and they had a bunch of cool events they ran. Will probably be back for the pokemon events I learned about!

I saw a billboard on I-35 and figured I’d come in and check it out. The recent release of the Pokemon TCG Pocket had completely re-sparked my childhood interest. Being out the Pokemon collecting game for nearly 20 years, I had a lot to catch up on. When I walked in I was immediately greeted from the complete opposite side of the store by Jaylon to make sure I knew someone was available to assist. I spent a solid 30 minutes with question after question. Jaylon was so patient, kind, was very well equipped to answer any of my questions, and helped me make an informed purchase. He also informed me about the events you guys host and that sounds super exciting. I will definitely be back thanks to Jaylon.

Came in a few months ago... Didnt know a thing about Pokemon, but started buying packs from them and was pulling expensive cards left and right.  Things have slowed down for me, but these guys are always great to me and always guide me in the best direction for my dollar.  Highly recommend especially if you want to pay cheaper than other stores like Walmart and Target.  Plus they have all the cards you could ever want... even if you cant find them out anywhere else.

Came in to pick up some deck boxes and boosters for the new MTG set and Jon D. is Awesome. Super easy to talk to and really chill.

Good atmosphere with some fun loving people, whom are most helpful.  I went in and placed an order with a young man named JP fairy knowledgeable very friendly and very willing to help.  This was about 3 years ago and he's the reason I keep coming back.  Hats off to John it's a great guy so no nonsense attitude and a straight shooter.  Congratulations management you found a great employee hang on to him and pay him what he deserves.

Honestly, if there was a 10 star, these gentlemen would get it from me. My husband and I brought our two kiddos in to this store one Friday night just to get out of the house and let them browse and shop with their wallets.  They both LOVE collecting Pokemon cards.  The sheer volume of items in this store is impressive.  But what really blew me away was the kindness and patience they showed my inexperienced and excitable kids.
JP, specifically was incredibly kind and helpful.  He entertained all of their questions and goofed around with them despite it being past hours.  He even took the time to locate some of their favorite characters' cards in their price range. (The ones they asked about in the case were slightly out of their wallets reach 😏) The time these men took to entertain and engage meaningfully with us and our children is something that I value.  And we'll be happy to return and send anyone else their way.

Our family attended the sports card "rip" night and we had a blast!  Ben was the host/MC and he was so helpful, energetic and knowledgeable.  It was our first time attending so we weren’t sure what to expect but Ben was very friendly and welcoming and explaining everything.  It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to the next one!

I went to my first Topps Hobby Rip Night at Collector's Cache. It was one of the best experience since my childhood. Reliving memories of opening packs of cards with a group of strangers was awesome. I came away with an Ohtani /199 and SSP Gunnar! Thank you Ben for hosting the event! I will be back again!

I placed an order online and it was an awesome experience. They helped me refund my first order so I could order a few extra things and within a half an hour my order was ready and heading out the door! Their staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, the shipping (though for me was a little expensive) was SUPER fast, I think it took only two days! The cards I ordered were in better condition than I was expecting and I can absolutely warmly recommend them for any of your trading cards you're collecting or looking to get into! Singles, sealed boosters, box packs, and even bulk cards!

Great customer service! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Collectors Cache has a great selection of Pokémon, Magic and sports cards. The  owner and staff are honest and friendly. Improved their baseball selection while keeping their yugioh and Pokemon sections just as sizable. Always well priced and great seating of course. Cameron seems to enjoy his job.

Had a fun time opening into the inklands with my brother. We each opened a case each from collectors cache. I pulled Kida enchanted and my brother sadly pulled none but pulled plenty of legendaries (I got a full set and my brother was just missing kida). Other than that we completed our non-foil collection. My main pulls from the case was on the left and my brothers case was on the right . Thanks again collectors cache!

they always have the best prices in town, and I always have my best pulls here. they are super welcoming when you are coming in to play and learn other card games as well! I have been shopping here for years and the service and friendliness has increased so much. great spot to hit up, I take all my collector friends here when they are in town.

Love going to local card shops! I wish they had more of a display to view items,however, you’re able to order online and pick up! I was able to grab some Pokémon cards from the latest set and had some great pulls! Staff was friendly and helpful!

I used to do online pickups and shop in store all the time! Staff is always super helpful and friendly. Really good prices on singles too.

However, a couple months ago I went in to pick up an order. Chatted to another customer for a while who said I could purchase a card in his binder for a couple bucks. 100% did not cross my mind that purchasing a card from another customer would be an issue. Looking back on it, yeah the rule makes sense and I’m not upset about that.

What I am upset about is the owner threatening to ban me from the store and making a scene in front of everyone there. I understand rules, but maybe be a little less intense next time and offer a reminder that you do not allow purchases from customer to customer.

I have not ordered or bought anything from the shop since and I am honestly too embarrassed to go back.

We presold the majority of our Prismatic Evolutions elite trainer boxes at MSRP and we oversold, but we went out on the secondary market and bought more to fill our preorders, making us lose thousands of dollars. So we had to pay much higher than MSRP to restock more ETBs.

Hopefully if Pokémon prints more, the prices will drop back down. Keep in mind that we sell and presell almost everything well below MSRP, but sometimes certain products skyrocket in price due to supply and demand, which are both out of our control.

Never been in store but I've ordered online a couple times. This place used to have competitive good price but week before Prismatic came out they hiked prices by 50+ across the board. I understand following market trends but now no one is buying due to the price hike. Especially when sets still available on Pokemon Center's website are still retail and he sells 50 over it. Used to be good.

Edit: After owner response I've adjusted the review down by 1 star to a 2 star review simply because they flat out lied. You can go to their website right now and view their market price of items on your own. The reality is the less popular Pokemon product exist at least 10-20 over market and 30-40 over MSRP, more popular sets sit 20-30 over market and 50+ over MSRP. I don't appreciate being flat lied to, I review the price changes on their website every Monday/Tuesday so I'm personally well informed on the product you sell at what price its being sold at since November last year. I don't mind buying sets at market but I do mind buying product over market.

Lastly, you presold Journey Together 30-40 over MSRP. I have record of that. Preselling product you don't know how much you'll have until distributions tells is a bad practice and that's just flat out on you.

Sold some Pokémon singles to their booth at KC Comic-Con. The employee offers me $85, I count with $90. Counter declined. Okay, settle for $85.

When we finish the deal the employee says “I would have given you $5 more” with a grin on his face. Okay???? So give me the $5 more???

This hobby can attract some real jerks but Collector’s Cache takes the cake.

When I came into this establishment, I immediately detected a foul odor similar to a Loves truckstop shower. I came in to inquire about trading in a card because they were selling the same exact card. To describe the environment surrounding me, there were 10 employees who appeared to be reddit /incel moderators. When I inquired about selling a Pokémon card he responded "Is your dad around" (while cheesy gordita crunch remnants on his shirt shook off onto the counter) when I responded no he said "I can only give you a firm handshake". This establishment takes advantage of children. Please come into the business with an adult.

Signed up for a card event, ran a bit late, told them a r1 loss is fine and I'll be there shortly. "Store policy" to give up your spot to wait-listers if you're more than 10 mins late. On top of prices for product being raised on release, and talks of players getting banned for friendly trades getting in the way of their sales. Worst card shop in KC by far.

I recently went with my mom and two men were working and tried to force my mom into selling her goods for cheaper than they had first priced the items at. They were so aggressive it made the environment feel physically unsafe. I would not recommend for any single woman trying to buy or sell. Terrible experience and customer service.
