A coffee shop in a book store, what a perfect place. Staff is A++ love it

A wonderful experience! Nice & clean, and the staff is very nice and helpful to. Filled with toys and collectibles, books and graphic novels, all in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere!

This place is fun.  Loads of cool stuff,  good books,  excellent and friendly staff. Only issue I have is my son applied here a few months back.  The pay for your employees is horrible for this area.

I didn't realize Books-A-Million weren't exclusively in malls. This one is top-tier, clean, and great selection. The choice of bargain books rivals Barnes and Nobles prices.

I love books and they have a great selection of lightly used books for a great price... the employees are super helpful and nice... great spacious areas doesn't feel over crowded but def something for everyone here

It's great to see a bookstore alive and well as we, as a society, become mindless robots on our phones. Huge selection and helpful staff. Pay a visit and sign up for rewards.

Love Books-A-Million! Wide variety of selection of not on books, but music, DVD, magazines, a little bit of everything. Reasonable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Extremely clean and organized too. If you can't find what you are looking for you can always order online, but they usually always have it in stock .

Dickson City location. Nice, well stocked and clean. Staff were friendly and magazine rack had a nice selection, particularly in art and UK specialty periodicals.
Unfortunately the one in my location is none of these things.

Love having a local book store where you can find a variety of every genre and in a convenient area.

Great variety and easy to find whatever you could possibly want and in a great location.

Competing with Amazon in a brick and mortar has to be tough, but it’s nice to see an actual bookstore.

I could spend hours in this place, all kinds of books and journals, crafts, plushies, lap desks, fun kids books, coffee shop and eatery inside. Excellent customer service gentleman walked around the whole store helping me find everything too.

Love this place! As one of the few book stores around, it's always a treasure going here because theta almost always something new and interesting to be found.

I am a reader. I love books and over the years, some have actually attained a kind of friendship.  I know that sounds weird,  but if you're a reader ( especially if you read some form of serial ) then you get it. The characters you love to hate .... Some years ago my lovely wife gifted me with a Kindle and as a result my actual in-person visits to an actual book store simply stopped. I was shopping for a gift and just walked in.  I WAS AMAZED.  Apparently things have changed greatly.  I love it. I will be back. Christmas shopping,  birthday shopping, etc.  It is the perfect store with something  for everyone.  Even if the person you're buying for doesn't read. They even had props, games, and gifts from some  favorite TV series.

Beautiful store. It's perfectly tidy and absolutely huge, with a great selection of books. And if for whatever reason you didn't want to buy a book at this bookstore, they also have a huge selection of gifts and records. Plus the staff was so nice.

This is a beautifully laid out and clean store. They have books, used books, fun merchandise like games and novelties, computer lap desks and a food/coffee section. I went in to pick up an online order and was looking around for crossword puzzle books. Two separate young ladies ended up helping me, as there were books in three different areas. Lots of them, which was great. The young ladies that helped me were quite pleasant and professional.

Great books at great prices, what's not to love.

Great place!! They have such a great variety of books for all ages and a fairly decent selection of toys for the kids. I definitely did not expect it to be as big as it was. The staff there are super helpful and seem to know the store well. Definitely will be going back many more times. Their prices are definitely fair!

We LOVE Books-A-Million! There is always something there for every member of our family. I will admit, their prices aren't great on everything, but they have a really good selection on books, magazines, calendars, fun and unusual games and all around items that appeal to many. It's a great place!

Amazing variety.  You can also get sophisticated toys from star wars or graphic novels.

Coffee is good here.  Plenty of GREAT BOOKS AND MAGAZINES.  Prices are good and the staff are friendly.  They regularly make suggestions.  Great place to read, write, and hangout.  Sales always going on.  Spacious and plenty of room to settle into and then resettle two hours later!  Like a BOOK AMUSEMENT PARK!

Love BAM!  In my opinion it's a much nicer place than Barnes and Noble, which is like the Starbucks of the book world.

It's a nice bookstore. Very clean and organized .  Chill vibe.  Polite staff.  Very limited craft & DIY books.  Half the store is dedicated to children's merchandise & books. No craft magazines beyond knitting & crocheting.
Set u similar to B & N but doesn't have DIY & craft variety merchandise & publications.

They have lots of great books. The coffee was tasty. We were able to find everything that we needed. They had fairly comfortable seating area.
The staff were a little bit cranky, and you could hear them complaining, but overall, it was a positive visit

As an older person I just love book stores and I try to pass that along to my grandsons. At 5pm on a Sunday the store was sadly pretty empty but we went in and browsed around and each of the boys got a book. Store was clean and staff were quick and friendly... my only gripe is they never have any of the authors I'm looking for... some of which are repeat NYT best sellers... and that is why bookstores are dying... sadly

So, Google asked for an update on the review. Still a pleasant way to waste an hour slowly browsing through the racks and decent collection of vinyl in the store and still the exact same gripe. They never have certain authors who are multiple NYT bestsellers, beam stoker award winners, with TV shows in development by some of the best directors around. They're answer is always 'we can orderr that for you' ... If I wanted to order a book I'd go to Amazon and get it. There's no reason they shouldn't have at least a few of these authors and their books in house. Disappointing

Lots of books to pick from, good for sating your reading addiction. Sometimes they can be disorganized but they make up for with a nice plushie and toy collection too.

My kids and I love coming to look around and buy a book or two.  We all love the merchandise they sell on top of the books as well.  It's a fun place to go for either adults or children.   The staff was very helpful and kind as well.

The service is not always top-notch, but the store has a great selection. You can look for anything from Manga to Bibles and you'll find it. There is a nice gift selection as well. Bathrooms are available and a cafe where you can select from Harry Potter drinks and other common cafe selections. Just make sure you get there before the cafe closes for the day. I think before 4:30. You may have to ring the bell for service at the cafe. I hope you enjoy your visit. Plenty of parking.

Your average everyday bookstore chain. They have a pretty good selection of genres including manga which is increasing in popularity. They also have some merch for various popular franchises and animes. I do really enjoy their search function for the titles that they have in stock and the quaint little coffee shop inside the building. Don't judge a book by its cover and buy one today

It was nice overall and very spacious. Has both new & used books. Signage is somewhat unclear when it comes to current promotions and cashier didn’t seem to know either.

Treat book store with a cute little beverage counter. They offer used books at a discount. Definitely something for everyone. Great for the Harry Potter fan in your life. Or if you are a Harry Potter can you will love the Harry Potter theme drinks. Would give 5 stars but they try to push a free 2 month trial of 2 magazines on every person that buys something.

I LOVE looking around BAM. So many books, so little time. While online shopping is "easier"  there's nothing like holding a book before you but it.
This particular branch gets a 4 cuz the bathrooms tend do be unkempt.

I really like this store. I like to read  Hardcover books and there are many OTHER items to choose from. I also like the Coffee shop. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there were several different times I was looking for a book and it was not in the store, only on line. I like to look around as this is a BIG store so I don't really want to shop on line. Other than that, great store to browse. You will always find something!

Always love a book store. The store is about 50% books and 50% toys and that's fine by me. Everything seems well organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. I wish they were not forced to try to sell me magazine subscriptions but other than that it's great. I can spend hours here.

A great book store. Various types of books. There is a coffee shop inside which is a plus. In addition to books there are various novelty items, board games, DVDs, comics/anime, and a large area for the kids.(toys, stuffed animals, and books) some good bargains to be had but other items come at a cost. Overall a decent store.

Pretty nice store. Layout wasn't the best but it was pretty decent. Just small details, like certain sections not being in alphabetical order, books from one genre taking up half the shelf of the next genre.

They seem to have a certain bias towards the left over the right. They had the same books in the recommended, best seller, autobiography, and inspirational section about certain people. While looking for right wing books, they either didn't carry them at all and had to order online. Only books about the current president were all the smear  books released. Books  of previous presidents and first ladies were all very positive. Some books were knocked face down and had other books placed on top of them. Not sure if it's intentional or just because of all the customers.

Staff were very nice and pleasant.

I recommend it, plus it adds a more human element than just buying it from Amazon.

This store still features a healthy variety of current offerings from top authors as well as a decent back catalog kept in stock on the shelves. Nevertheless, the discounts are sparse and the membership only offers a paltry 10% savings in most scenarios. Also, they've eliminated used sales from their inventory, so be prepared to pay at or near publisher's price for most products. In today's tight economy, that is not an option most must exercise judiciously.

Well stacked and good merchandise but old carpet smell

My kids love this place but I'm less enamored.  They have a good selection of kids books and toys but I find it difficult to find books in other sections. Staff were no help in locating books or ordering them when they couldn't be found. I'm trying to support brick and mortar stores in my community but the staff don't seem to care if I go and order it online at another store. They seemed short staffed which could explain the poor service.

Store in nicely set up but the prices are expensive. I brought the books I wanted brand new on Ebay for half the prices they are asking with free shipping.

Store is supposed to close at 8, and at 7:50 they were already locked and leaving the building. Only book store in the area and they don’t even have the decency to be open their normal hours. Nothing like watching employees walk past you without saying “hey sorry, we’re closed”

I ordered a booka. Said my book was delivered to the store. Got email confirmation it was ready for pick up. Received an email my order was canceled. I did not cancel it. So I called the store. Their words were its here, not on the floor, so we canceled it. The site says it holds for 96 hours. I wasn't going to pick it up today. They said that's their process and now I won't get my money back till next week. I've never had a store tell me my order arrived. Is in the store. And they canceled. Then they said you'll get your refund in 4 days. Very poor business practices. And on top of says it's available for in store pick up. Absolutely ruined my first comic book expierence. Thanks.

Got charged 3 times and was told there was nothing they can do.  To call my bank.
