Clean and well organized. The employees are great!

Miss the bulk trading cards that used to be kept here. Especially with the store seemingly still having the room for them. Otherwise great place, always comfortable to stroll around in, great stock.

Store was well stocked. Very clean. Super friendly staff. Definitely one of the best game stores I've ever been in. Everything was nicely organized and easy to find. Great selection and prices too.

This is my favorite game/ card shop in Lexington. The variety is fantastic and they always have something new. They buy almost everything at a fair price too!

Daniel was fantastic! I had never been here before and had never sold games to anyone except the red and black game store 🥴. I took a console and a handful of games in to sell and the experience was a breeze. The store was super nice and clean. The staff was friendly for the most part, Daniel was the best. Im in here at least once a week. There is an employee there I think his name is Hop he's awesome! Everytime I'm there he converses with me about games. He always let's me know what new stuff they have in and even let's me know when some games are all they're cracked up to be and offers suggestions on other titles I may be interested in. As long as he works there I know I'm not gonna get ripped off and buy something I truly don't want. He even engages my kids.  Thanks Hop keep up the good work!

The people in this store are amazing, I specifically come to this store because of the employees. Hannah and Jordan are two of my favorite people. I'm saddened that I can't add a second rating for the ownership group that runs this company. Today there is severe weather and almost all other businesses in their area are closing down early for the safety of their employees. However not Game Exchange, because to them the employees lives are less important than them making money for the company for a few hours. Hopefully one day the employees here can be treated with the respect and decency they deserve.

Came in here one night a little less than an hour before close and the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Answered every question we had and helped us find a couple different games that we were looking for. Prices overall are fair for most things but I will say the service was awesome.

Jumping on the bandwagon of PRAISE for these folks. We bought a switch and it had super minor blemishes, they replaced our stuff - better edition, perfect condition. Hooked us up with a sweet case for $7. Just awesome. Gonna buy lots more from these folks.

Great experience!  Caleb in particular went above and beyond and was extremely friendly. There were a lot of customers, and he was busy as heck. Still went out of his way to tell us all details and give us a deal on our purchase. Highly recommend. Customer service and selection.

Much better than the store on the other side of town. Better and more consistently staffed, with enough people to take care of customers without having to scramble and do three jobs at the same time. I’ve sold things here before and the amount offered was pretty fair.

On my last visit I talked to a very helpful worker named Tory who went out of her way to show me some items buried in the back of a case. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and had a great attitude. I hope the company is able to identify strong workers and make sure to hang on to them.

We only stopped in for a quick look on the way home out of town and were pleasantly surprised to meet Caleb the GM. He did a wonderful job taking care of us and we always look forward to visiting this location! If you love obscure games and POP figures this is definitely the place.

Excellent used media and game store. Supper friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are as good or better than online. On many games you will come out better here than paying for shipping. They also do trade-ins.

On the tcg side (mtg, Yu-Gi-Ohs and pokemans) they  have 10 cent loose commons and 25 cent rares along with more price individual cards too.

They also have records and turntables. Limited selection of comics and Manga. Big DVD collection

Great selection of vintage and current video games products! Great staff, though they seem to have high turnover. TCG selection is a little haphazard but decent for not being their main focus.

This store is amazing!! The manager is such a sweet guy! The employees are so nice too, and they worked to try to fix my damaged games for me. (Seen in the picture I posted).

Customer service is amazing! Stopped in just to look at their collection of Pokemon cards for my son, got way more than expected! The guy working there was super nice and even stopped to show my son the rare cards they have and answered all his questions. Was super patient and kind even when he took a bit to go through the stack. Great guy and we will definitely be going back!!

On of the best game stores in town. The staff is super awesome and kind. They are always very helpful even if they can be busy. I do think they deserve to get paid more at least.

Absolutely great selection of video games from past and present. Surprisingly small place but full of goodies! If you like TCG cards, come here. They sell singles and have a wide assortment.

I love this place! I'm hugely into movies, and they always have DVDs that I love and have been looking for. The selection is simply fantastic.
And the staff is great. Zack, Jordan, Mallory, and Sam are all extremely helpful and friendly (there are two others there that I haven't met yet, but I'm willing to bet that they're just as great). Jordan is also a great artist and always puts up great drawings at the front of the store.
If you're looking for movies, games, or just cool people to chat with for a while, this is definitely the place to go.

Wide selection of used games of all types and even consoles available for sale. Consoles ranging from latest gen to NES and Sega Saturn. If your game, console, or movie is defective you can return it within 90 days for in-store credit or replacement which is awesome. There are some gamer collectible type items there. Also, they have a good selection of movies. Another thing I will definitely take advantage of is their professional disc resurfacing machine. Always nice to have one of those in the store.

Definitely a nice cool game store. Has every console available. You can trade your games and movies in too.

Update: went again a week later. As I was finding games the worker was getting the games out in the cases so I didn't have to wait long. 20+ xbox 360 games all for around $60. Really a good deal with the Buy2Get1 deal. Buying an Atari and Sega Saturn next. So glad I found this place.

For a used game store this location has it all.  I was specifically looking for functioning NES Nintendo games.  I was shocked at the vast number of games that they had on the shelves.  It was like going back in time and it made me remember all the good times I had as a kid.  So I purchased a few to take home and use on my still functioning Nintendo.  I would have rated 5 stars but I never seemed to find a staff member until I was ready to check out.  It was early when I was there so maybe they had a few things they were taking care of for opening the store, however they were friendly at my time of purchase.

I found this store unexpectedly, so went in to browse. They mostly have games for modern consoles, but some older stuff two. I was impressed with the XBox and PS1 game selections. Games for older consoles were more limited, but still found a few things to buy. Prices seem decent. They have the best selection of used consoles I've seen in the area.

Normally I always LOVE this place, love the workers and they recognize me when I come in. But now they’ve removed bulk Pokémon cards which was the reason I’d shop here at all and this is all that is left. Awful.

Staff is reasonably knowledgeable, but the prices don't reflect reasonable deprecation.  Games that are half of the price at walmart are used and still close to launch day prices.  I would say if you go to buy something there do a quick Google search to see the comparable price to new.

Extremely condescending customer service with a very sarcastic attitude. Needed to perform a routine return and was treated like an idiot and made fun of for no apparent reason. Go to ebay instead.

Was in there, and the other location, about 2 weeks ago, looking for a few specific movies.  None of the DVD's or Blu-ray's were in any type of order.  I understand/know how hard it can be to keep things in alphabetical order, but they could at least keep A's with A's, B's with B's, etc.

I just went to this location. The game selection was pretty good, and the prices were decent.

I would like to say that i will be back. However, I was not impressed with the salespeople there.

I walked in with my husband and heard the guys working there talking very loudly amongst themselves and were cursing as well. It's just not a good look for a business, and it is inconsiderate of customers who may be offended.

One guy in particular was super obnoxious, unprofessional, and rude. He was trying to dissuade me from buying certain games I knew I wanted to try and said some other offensive stuff. He complained about some games being "too liberal". In other words, the game was too inclusive of characters and players that weren't just straight, white dudes, which I'm not. I didn't appreciate it.

I don't see anything wrong with making sure everyone is treated with respect. As long as this thoughtless jerk is still working there, I won't be back.

So the store itself is great! Lots of products nice music playing and anything a gamer could want. However the employees are really loud and have way too many side conversations. They want to hang out and talk to each other instead of helping customers. Took 10 minutes to check out. Do better I want that place to last. They need to stop and focus on their customers.

I collect video games, The selection of Games is pretty good, I've never bought a game with any problems here. however the catch is I spent $100 on a PS3, I was told that I could just plug it in and play it when I got home, obviously, but the console bag I was given did not have a charger and the controller was completely dead, when I finally got a charger, the controller is everywhere and detecting button presses when I'm not even touching it, so I can't use it. The PS3 I bought did not have it's storage wiped, so when I first booted up the console it had the previous owners info and accounts on if ( DO NOT SELL YOUR CONSOLES HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE DONE A FACTORY RESET ON THEM ) if everything was fine and they had told me everything was tested and yet still didn't work and they included a charger it would be 5 stars.

Love this place, but have not been back much for the last year. Got a ps5 this time last year on lay away for around 490$ and when I got it home found out the hdmi port wasn’t fully working right  unless positioned certain ways. I live over an hour away from any game xchange and decided that I was okay with it as it was. Fast forward a few months later, up until now, and the thing is hardly playable. The port is absolutely dog water on this console and I’ve done nothing with it or to it, it sits where it has since it’s came here. Just think it’s poor service to allow someone to pay up that much on a product that clearly wasn’t even been checked or looked over  properly.

This place has sold me broken games time and time again. I’ve spent so much money with them & yet I feel so unfulfilled. DO NOT SHOP HERE JUST GO TO CM GAMES AT THE MALL!!!

Went in to sell Xenoblade Chronicles 2 collector edition. Was offer 12 bucks. That was very insane. I know they would definitely sell it for what it's going on eBay and profit 1000%

When this store first opened, I was genuinely excited. Upon selling to them, and looking through their merchandise the disappointment set in. They over charge for most things. A set of used Joy Cons cost almost as much as a new set. Nintendo 64 can be bought through eBay much cheaper. Their Nintendo 64 controllers are high, Lukie Games has them cheaper, as well as eBay. Their deals for games seemed good until you realize it’s only for the cheap games no one really wants.

Selling to them was a hard joke. They offered a vast difference between store credit and cash, which I can understand. They want to bring that money back into their store. But when numerous games, game accessories and figures are traded in and all you get is $25 cash or $52 in store credit, it’s almost worth waiting to sell on your own.

If you’re looking for sizeable variety of gaming consoles, accessories, games or movies, this place is awesome to go in and look. But also check online, it’s probably cheaper.
