I haven't been back since the last time due to the pandemic but it amazed me! Such a great store. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. It was a great bonding experience for me and my dad. A lot of the older items (instruments/speakers/etc..) were nostalgic for him.

Holy cow what a Safari stop!! Tons of used across all genres, great selection of new and used along with a stand up Pac Man machine. Prices are VERY reasonable on both new and used.Take my money please

POPS is a wonderland of music, jewelry, and vintage clothing that I haven’t seen the likes of in years. Products and surroundings were equally curated and eclectic, and everything was priced reasonably or fairly. Service and conversation were also fantastic! This was my first visit to Lexington and I’ll be back just for this joint. <3

I can not say enough good about this place. They’ve got it all. Even a decent selection of laserdiscs! Killer 12” selection too. Wonderful stop on our drive through town

I found some really great classic preowned vinyl. If you like obscure stuff, they have alot of that too.

Had a lot of fun looking through the used vintage records here! They also have some great art and vintage clothes. I thought the clothes were  over priced but the used records were very well priced. New records were pretty standard pricing. Fun place to visit and record shop, I could have spent hours in there looking through what they had! Edit/update: we've now listened to the records (buying vintage is sometimes a gamble) and they all played perfectly! Very pleased 😊

This is one of the coolest places I have ever been. Such a crazy amount of things. Pins, patches, clothes, hair clips and earrings, and so many records. They even have listening stations.

Came from NYS on vacation and asked around where the best retro store was and this spot was recommended by everyone along with a place a couple doors down.
When I say this place is huge,I’m not exaggerating!!
Purchased a poster and a porkys vhs and could have easily spent another two hours in there and purchased more!!

Must stop place if you're in the area. Super cool store with great inventory and friendly staff. Massive amount of new vinyl and memorabilia. Not a whole lot of classic vintage records, but more than enough of everything else to make up for it. Highly recommended!

Pops Resale is the Greatest Place for Records and a lot of Vintage entertainment. My Grandson loves to visit Pops especially on record Days. I'm a Grandfather and i appreciate the kindness Pop has always shown to My Grandson and Myself! We are Customers for life!

My favorite record store. They have new and used records very fair prices. They have vintage clothing and other items. If you’re looking for stereo, equipment, new or used, you can go there. The employees are top-notch when it comes to knowledge of music and equipment.

Been going to Pops for years. Love the guys that work in there, always greeted as soon as I walk in the door. If you're looking for vintage clothing or vinyl you need to check out this place!!! I'm sure you'll get hooked and start making trips to shop here on a regular basis.

Fantastic record store! Has stuff I have never seen in other record stores! Worth stopping by if you're in the Lexington area. Definitely will be coming here again 😄

The best record shop in the area.  The stock new and used hard to find vinyl.  I purchased some limited release video game soundtracks that most stores won't stock.  The staff was very kind and helpful which is always a plus.

First time visit but was not disappointed. Super large selection of albums & vintage things. Loved the whole trip, had great customer service for an out of town visitors...we loved the experience

Dropped by today and their selection of new stock vinyl is more impressive than ever! I scored a couple of Record Store Day exclusives I had previously missed out on as well as a mint used copy of my favorite Dinosaur Jr. album for a very fair price. Still my favorite record store in town!

I love this place. My step dad likes the vintage shirts, my friends love the jewelry and vintage games, and I go for records. We also enjoy petting the owners dog when we go in.

Pops is absolutely hands down one of the best record shops to go in Lexington! They have vintage goods, clothing, jewelry earrings, pins, patches, comic books, and more! I love visiting pops and finding records & unique things!

Beautiful little thrift spot. Great prices with wall to wall records and memorabilia. The clothing selection is excitingly eccentric and good fun to browse. They had a meat baby poster which I found a little disturbing. I hope somebody buys it before I go back. Either way, excellent place.

Such a fun, weird little store with a lot of personality - a place that a person could spend a whole day in. They have an eclectic collection of various odds and ends, great for vinyl record collectors, but I especially love their clothing selection. Tons of odd and vintage clothing that's great for costume purposes or just finding something unique to add to your wardrobe.  Very nice staff as well.

Extensive LP collection, especially jazz/blues and classical. Lots of unusual & unique recordings (see photo). The proprietor is very knowledgeable and friendly, and I had a great visit. In fact, I liked it so much I returned for more!

I was warmly welcomed by the staff and had a wonderful conversation about video games and collector's items. The store is a lot more spacious than it might initially appear to be and there's a HUGE variety of stuff, from retro video games to comic books to clothes to jewelry to records and it's fun to look through. Would definitely visit again!

They have a huge selection of vintage and replical clothes and jewelry from which to choose.  They even divide them up by decades, so you don't have to wonder.  They also have a massive selection of music records.  I didn't look through those, so I'm not sure about the music side of the business.
The staff there is very nice and they even have an adorable 3 legged dog who greets you.  I recommend going there.  It's a fun spot.

This place is awesome! So many cool things here, from records, to VHS tapes, to vintage clothes, to some really cute and unique jewelry. The prices are amazing too! The staff are nice and helpful, the atmosphere is pretty chill. Definitely would love to come back if I ever have the chance to visit again!

The owner, Pop,is an amazing guy. To be honest though, his dog Junior is the best employee! If your looking for nostalgic items pops is great, if your looking for newer funky things pops is also the place to go! The service is great! Altogether you'll enjoy yourself.

Vintage clothing and accessories are fun to shop. Wide selection of vinyl and a section of local artist CDs. Staff was helpful.

Awesome selection of used and new items. Lots of interesting and different finds. I bought a real stoplight that one of the staff had rewired to an extension cord. And it was a very reasonable price! They have used and new vinyl records, and they have costume clothing. They have CDs and movies as well. I love this store and I love visiting! The staff are fun to talk to as well.

What a strange and unique place! Very cool experience, only dropping a star because it kind of smelled. Basically an old, musty, dead smell permeating the entire store. I felt like a fan and a single air freshener would have taken care of it and made the experience more enjoyable. Oh well. I'll probably still go back at some point. Great selection of old records.

Didn't have what I was looking for but had some good selections.

We usually really like going to Pop’s but the cashier was really unpleasant when we visited today. We were buying a vintage jacket and asked how we should go about cleaning it (there were some visibly dirty spots on the leather). He acted like we were stupid for asking and said in an aggressive way “I don’t understand what you’re asking me. It’s leather. I’m not following.” The owner stepped in and started telling us about leather wipes and oils he would recommend which was helpful but the other employee was so rude that we won’t be going back to Pop’s. Asking how to clean and maintain a vintage clothing item shouldn’t lead to a confrontation at a vintage clothing store!
