This Antique store is so amazing, you will find things in here that you did not know you needed. I went in here to kill some time, the owner at the counter was very sweet and knowledgeable. I ended up purchasing a very cool box for my necklace's, and a French version of the prayer to St. Michael, if you are looking for a unique gift this is the place to go. The prices are not bad either, I think every local should visit this store.

Simon is a talented artist and his artwork found throughout New Orleans is instantly recognizable. He created a beautiful customized art piece for our wedding. Instead of a standard guestbook, we asked our guests to leave us a message on the sign. We will treasure this piece forever! Recommend coming by, checking out some of his art, and chatting with him if he is around!

Simon is obviously a NOLA institution. Read up on him throughout the bowels of the great internet. You can deliberate on whether to stop by, I did. Glad I did. Such a unique and quirky studio, cool folk art and some really cool antiques in the shop. It is NOT a museum, though. (!)

Did you know that one step off Magazine Street you can transport back in time to Belle’s 1800s French chateau? Antiques on Jackson is a treasure trove of authentic French and Italian antiques with a southern, romantic flair. I always visit when my eyes are starving for beauty and it never disappoints. A must visit “store” but feels more worthy of a museum. How lucky we are to be able to take these “museum pieces” home with us!
