No trip to New Orleans is complete without a stop at Balzac Antiques. They have a fabulously curated collection in the most beautiful space. The ladies of Balzac and B. Viz are so helpful, and go out of their way to answer any of my questions. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Incredibly rude staff. I can’t believe that’s socially acceptable behavior to them.

Owner Response

Hi Josephine, Can you let me know some details of your visit so that we can address your concerns? We were closed most days for the last week because of Mardi Gras. What day were you there and what happened? I'm very disappointed to hear that you weren't happy with your experience and any feedback you can give us will be very helpful, Sarah

I don't believe I've ever had the displeasure of speaking with someone so rude. I called to replace an antique mirror and was told by the woman on the phone she was busy and she hung up while I was talking. I would not recommend this business at all. She was kind enough to say I hate to cut you off but she still did.

Owner Response

Hello, you kindly called our store to inquire if we do repairs or valuations, neither of which we do. We are very sorry that you thought your phone experience with our staff was unpleasant.
