We were in New Orleans on holiday several years ago and went into Keil's to find a signet ring. The man (owner?) behind the counter was extremely helpful, and I found the ring I wanted, but it was too large. He was able to have it sized by the next day, and it fit perfectly. I loved the Latin inscription engraved in the intaglio - "It must be tried." He was impressed I could read Latin (what's a high school education for?). he also had it shipped to me making the purchase more convenient. I'll be send him a photo of an Edwardian necklace pendant to see if he can match it or find one similar. After leaving the store, we went to their antique furniture store where we found a large, late 18th-early 19th banker's box, and also a gorgeous 18th century Chinese red lacquer low table. We bought both, and they were shipped to us (no damage) and arrived a few days after we returned home. The fun of shopping at Keil's added greatly to our vacation in one of the best American cities. 9/18/2024: After an exchange of emails, I shipped the necklace to Keil's to have a pendant added to replace the missing center pendant. The match is Perfect. One would be hard pressed to tell this isn't the original. My wife will be thrilled when she sees it. This is the excellent service and the fabulous selection that Keil's has on hand in their lovely jewelry store. Donna Martz was a pleasure to work with.
Thank you for your kind comments. We love hearing about experiences like this. Sincerely Peter Moss

I love Keil's! We visit every time we are in New Orleans. Donna has helped me pick out some beautiful pieces and even helped me find the perfect ring for my daughter's senior ring (instead of a class ring). The staff is so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I always look forward to browsing their amazing selection. Go check them out. You will not be disappointed!

I have nothing but lovely things to say about this store and staff! They know their antiques and they have wonderful items to choose from. I’ll cherish the bracelet I purchased! Roberta was so helpful and they ship items out of state.

My wife ans I bought a beautiful bronze chandelier for our bedroom remodel. When we walked into the store we had no idea where to start. Their beautiful and varied inventory was almost overwhelming. One of the sales representatives, Roberta, immediately approached us and spent the next hour pleasantly guiding and making suggestions until we found the perfect fixture. Checking out was a breeze. Leila offered to hold our chandelier until our project was ready. When we contacted Ms Roberta shipping was fast and efficient. The chandelier was expertly packed in a custom wooden crate and delivered to our door by Mr. Randy Daigrepoint. The end to end service at Keils was beyond 5 stars. We will definitely patronize the shop in that future.

As an fine art and auctioneer, we had to pop in. They have an exceptional range of French and English antiques at very good prices. Fantastic staff too, thanks to Roberta for looking after us. Until next time.

My favorite place for antique jewelry! They carry such lovely pieces and will go out of their way to meet your needs (i.e., if you want French wires instead of posts or you lose a stone in a necklace). Worth a trip to check them out!💕
