This store is worth checking out if you’re looking for some higher quality vintage items. Lots of furniture, lighting and various household items. I was just browsing today but there were plenty of items I was interested in. It is not a budget thrift shop, pricing seemed fair for the quality and uniqueness of items.

Tables to Teapots had a lot of good furniture today with good prices.  Also there is a section with carpets that are waiting to be priced that looks promising.

Nice quality selection of used goods. This place is organized and doesn't sell junk. They have fair prices on the things they do have for sale. Mostly furniture, not a huge selection of teapots.

Staff is well trained, attentive and courteous. Selection of consignment products for sale is outstanding. As a consignee, you receive an email immediately after dropping off your items, listing them and the prices they will be sold for in the first 30 days.

This is one of my favorite places; too bad they only do lunch and tea time. Food is all hand made, great crepes, toasties, salads and soups all hand made. Tea (no coffee) and Martha makes all the desserts too. Can handle functions and crowds with reservations and they can even have a whole room for a function. Eclectic tables and chairs and local shops have collectables on display for sale. Loose tea and scones to go (well, all food can be taken out but...) Not open Sundays and major holidays. Parking is right there.

Really fun store! It’s always filled with interesting merchandise. This is my go to place for furniture. Browse, shop, sell- it’s all good. Owner is a great guy too! I highly recommend this place!

Consignment items from the Boston area make Tables to Teapots a museum for the latter half of the 20th century.
Furniture ranging from classic to mid-century modern, film cameras, a wide selection of vinyl albums, and wonderful audio gear all caught my eye.
As for audio, on the day I visited, they were practically a museum for Henry Kloss's career. I saw AR, KLH, and Cambridge Soundworks classics, as well as glorious examples from other manufacturers like B&O, Philips, Carver, Ohm, and others.
I look forward to my next visit.

Fun collection of old and not so old stuff. Very mixed offering of furniture, old stereo equipment, cameras, knick-knacks, artwork, etc. Love these kinds of stores and this one did not disappoint.

Depends what you are looking for. Used tools and quirky kitchen stuff/hard goods? No. Some really good condition used furniture of all types? Solid choice. Prices are on par with local market value.

Something different every time you go. Friendly staff. The store offers china, glass, mirrors, furniture, children's furniture, antiques, bed frames and pictures. A lot of items to decorate your home with.

A friend bought a used amour it was good quality at a decent  price.  they won't help you move the furniture you purchase so bring some muscle.

One of my favorite consignment stores in the area. Whenever I am nearby I make it point to see what they have. They are selective and not the cheapest option around but they have a nice assortment of furniture and always seem to get in new merchandise. I have also consigned with them in the past and do not recall any hassles.

The stuff they sell is good and reasonably priced.  Their treatment of me and other customers on New Year's Eve changed my opinion, unfortunately.  Only a day before, they clearly posted on Facebook that they'd be open until 4:00 on 1/31.  I showed up at the same time as many customers at 3:00, only to encounter a locked door and no update on the door. We stood in the cold drizzle and could clearly see other customers and at least 1 employee. The other locked- out customers were equally confused.  It was several minutes before someone came out and let a couple of us in, but I felt too unwelcome to browse.  The door was locked as I tried to exit.  What made me more mad was that I posted publicly on Facebook to warn others that they closed an hour early, and they immediately deleted my comment at 3:00.  When I asked why, they said I "didn't understand the entire story" even though my posting was a simple factual statement.  They also said they had no ability to update their Facebook hours, but that's false because they were able to delete my comment and use Messenger.  Their excuse was that they were suddenly short staffed due to illness.  Fine - you're a private business and can close early.  But don't expect to keep customers when you can't be bothered to respect their time on a major holiday and take 2 minutes to update your hours, and on top of that, tell an illogical story.

We appreciate the feedback! T2T is always trying to improve our consigning and customer experience, which means we only take nicer items that our customers will love and not accept every item for consignment. But please drop us an email or give us a call or come by and let us know how we can do it better!

The past few times, the store didn't have enough 'inventory' but it is clean and does get some nice furniture and art from time to time. I watch the Facebook group rather than go very often. They made it hard to consign which might account for emptiness.

Hi Mark - thanks for the feedback. We agree... if you are looking for thrift store decore, T2T is probably not going to be a home run for you. Most of our customers are looking for better quality, and that's what we strive to keep the store well stocked with. But usually, we do have a few nice items at surprisingly great prices, so feel free to check back... new items in all the time!

Nice place to look, prices and selection usually have me leaving empty handed.  I have much better luck at the Habitat For Humanity thrift store.

I am sorry you had such a bad experience. We do review the terms of consignment, including delivery and payment, with every consignor. I'm sorry if somehow that was skipped when you started working with us. Our consignment periods are 60 or 120 days depending on item value, which is fairly standard in the consignment industry. 

BEWARE!  NOT TO BE TRUSTED!
I was never told the rediculously high charge to transporting items to their store.   When items did sell, I had to repeatedly ask for my payment.  Was not warned prior to consigning with them that there is a  short time frame for items to be sold before they take full ownership.  You will have better results taking your items to Wayland Packing.  He uses multiple outlets for selling your items online and prices items at market value not below market value like Tables to Teapots does.

Kate - sorry to hear about this. It was 2014 when you last consigned with us, and since then, we have procedures in place to prevent this very thing from happening. We inform consignors in advance of the items we don't accept, and also review in person/on location, or via email pictures, large items our customers would like us to consign.  If that information didn't get to you somehow, our apologies. Our store owner left you a voice mail yesterday afternoon, and again this morning, wishing to hear more detail, so we can understand if and where things went wrong.  As you can see from our Google reviews, we take customer satisfaction very seriously... it is our #1 priority. Hopefully, we will hear back from you, can get a clear picture of what happened, and offer some remedies.  Thanks and hope to hear from you.

Made an appointment almost 2 months ago to bring in a small antique secretary (in excellent condition) with matching chair and several other smaller items. Specifically told the person I spoke with what I had. My husband canceled his plans for the day to help me unload it as they won't help you at the store.  When we arrived, they refused to take it.  Said secretaries "don't sell."  It slipped out during the discussion that they had a large furniture shipment coming in later in the week and, if they took this item, they wouldn't have room.  Really?  Bottom line is they don't honor their appointments if they have something they deem "better" coming along. They might have things that interest customers (thus the reviews) but, as a consigner, beware!
