The owner of the colonial trading is a man with a heart worth more than anything precious in that store. Intellectual, humble, and knows so much about all the historical eras.

Their shop has moved locations, and is now on the 5th floor of the Jewelers Building, room 524. I had a wonderful experience there, the owner was willing to explain the history of coins that I had questions about, and researched a fair price for a coin neither of us were sure on the value of. I will definitely be coming back if I ever find myself in Boston again!

I was looking for a ring for my wife and a friend recommended Lou at Colonial. Thank God. This is an area I know very little about and Lou guided me through the process flawlessly. He went out of his way to help me more than once. He’s a stand up guy in an ocean full of sharks. My wife loves the ring. I’m going to throw Lou a parade.

Found the Colonial Trading Co website while searching for some vintage jewelry. Reluctant to buy on line so I immediately called the physical store located in downtown Boston. Have an appointment scheduled to see the items in person before I buy. Very helpful staff. Looking forward to visiting!
