About This Store

Quakers Acres: An Authentic Antique Oasis in Brimfield

Nestled within the bustling Brimfield Antique Show, Quakers Acres stands out as a unique destination for seasoned antique enthusiasts. As one reviewer notes, this antique store is the "top of my list this year, too," offering a curated selection of genuine Americana that sets it apart from the "fake store tents" and "shabby chic stores" found elsewhere.

According to the reviews, Quakers Acres is frequented by "real collectors of old Americana themselves," creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and shared passion among the vendors. As one customer observes, "the vendors are kind, sociable and relaxed," fostering an engaging shopping experience for visitors. The "diagonal roads" of the store's layout allow for leisurely "meandering," inviting customers to immerse themselves in the store's offerings.

The reviews suggest that Quakers Acres specializes in authentic vintage and antique items, in contrast to the "fake vintage signs" and "fake antique cast iron garden nomes" found elsewhere. As one customer notes, the store provides a refreshing alternative to the "African and Asian carvings" and "Christmas Tree Shop type products" that can dominate other Brimfield vendors.

The store's reputation as a must-visit destination during the Brimfield Antique Show is evident in the enthusiastic reviews. As one customer states, "Without Quakers Acres, May's, or J&J, you won't find Brimfield Antique show unique any more." Another reviewer simply declares it the "Best field to sell at in Brimfield," underscoring the store's appeal to both buyers and sellers.

Quakers Acres' reputation as a hub for authentic antique finds and a welcoming community of vendors has clearly made it a beloved destination for those seeking a genuine antique shopping experience within the Brimfield Antique Show.

My go to place on the first day of Brimfield Antique show in May each year is Quaker Acres. Wide Diagonal roads allows slow meandering possible. And the vendors are kind, sociabl and relaxed. They are mostly real collectors of old Americana themselves unlike other lots filled with cheap repros from Indonesia and Thailand, or, odd and desperate African souvenir vendors. I recognize many vendors in QA coming here for some years now and they recognize us, too. Without Quaker Acres, May's, or J&J, you won't find Brimfield Antique show unique any more. Compared to Quaker Acres; The other lot have too many fake store tents to come in to replace the authentic vendors. Surely I got pissed to walk long hours to see the same shabby chic stores selling Christmas Tree Shop type products, African and Asian carvings, fake vintage signs, fake antique cast iron garden nomes. I hope the lot owners and the antique show host association weed the fake vendors out to maintain the reputation. Still, Auaker Acres remain the top of my list this year, too. Their parking, sandwiches and drinks, portaloo were all good and easily accessible. Overall, the experience in QA is the best.
