The store operates strictly by appointment! A phone number posted on a note at the door is your gateway to this treasure trove. We rang yesterday, and within 5 minutes, George, the owner, arrived to let us in. Due to recent health issues and being legally blind, George doesn't maintain typical business hours. Moreover, the shop is brimming from floor to ceiling, leaving only a narrow walkway for customers to navigate. If you want something, be prepared to roll up your sleeves and sift through the stock yourself. We emerged with a wonderfully eerie old birdcage and a striking marble topped Victorian table. But our haul wasn't the highlight. Standing outside on the sidewalk, we were captivated by an unforgettable conversation with the endlessly fascinating George. He shared stories of his life, his family, and his impactful work in Europe post the fall of the Berlin Wall, not forgetting his roots in the South. This encounter will forever be etched in our memories! Now, whenever friends' curiosity is piqued by our distinctive table and quirky birdcage, we don't just tell them where we found them; we regale them with the unforgettable tale of our enlightening encounter with George.

It's closed, y'all. Packed to the gills and covered in cobwebs.
