Travellers, this thrift store is amazing! And even better is they support so many awesome organizations and people they your money is well spent. Wear your walking shoes because this place is huge! And do t miss anything because it is all lovely to look at. The staging is incredible and there is a huge selection of merchandise. The prices are very good and worth the value. Plan to spend a few hours but it is worth the trouble. Check it out. We recommend.

Great atmosphere.  You're not always going to find what you're looking for, but that's antique stores for you.  They have a great book store cafe. Definitely consider checking that out!

The Blessing Barn Bookstore is a wonderfully welcoming and exciting experience. Books in many categories neatly shelved and kept spotless. Prices are so reasonable. Food and drinks are available for getting together with friends or just relaxing in a serene atmosphere. One of our favorite places!

One of my favorite places for thrift shopping outside of Boston. They have great taste and curate the items so nicely. It’s also amazing during Christmas to stock up on decorations while giving back and not adding to landfills.

The store has the most fun selection of second hand items. I love all their kitchen items. I bought a tea set from The bargain basement for an amazing price and it's a delightful set. The employees are all incredibly helpful and kind. Love it.

A higher end thrift store with many rooms, incredibly well organized, & the layout is designed so beautifully! Not to mention, the proceeds fund some wonderful programs & help those in the local community who are in need.

Great finds.  Prices are way too high on everything.  These items are donated to keep them going and help others, but, why would I buy used at a price when I can get it for new?  Some items are reasonably priced, but not enough to move overall inventory.

This is my favorite store. I got a bridesmaid dress there for 8 dollars which was amazing especially considering the amazing quality and looks. Always something fun to look at here.

Love this place. Always something exciting to find. Prices are negotiable. Vintage used furniture and household items. Displays are very well done and attractive. The Bargain Basement is more like a Goodwill. Cheap household items, crafts, toys, cds, and knick knacks.

Great store to visit. They have multiple levels with lots of housewares, furniture,  and clothing to explore.  On the first floor they also have a coffee area where you can sit and relax. Something for everyone.

Wasn't sure what to expect.  Much bigger and spacious inside then what outside looks like.   Lots if China plates and settings.   Older vintage wedding dresses and newer dresses.  Very fun to look around.  Furniture is decent and well taken care of.  Good prices for things.

The Blessing Barn is a fairly large building that offers a variety of items including used furniture, clothing, kit hand dining room items in addition to toys and other finds.
Most if not all items are donated so the prices seemed to be low. I purchased a glass cake pedestal with a dome in perfect condition for $12. The same item at Home Goods would cost $30 or more.

Lots of vintage furniture. Glassware. Clothing. Jewelry and Purchases help their community service programs. What's better than that? Go see...

This place is amazing. I'm a guy, so I don't really care for antiques and decor, however, they have 4 floors with everything from knick knacks to antique furniture and even wedding dresses. If you're an inside designer or someone looking for a special piece....I'm pretty sure they have it.

This place is legit the cutest thrift store. When you pull into the parking lot the outside is absolutely adorable and well maintained. Once You step inside .. there are so many unique items you don’t know what to look at first. I drove over 45 minutes and it was worth the ride.. I’ll be back

The Blessing Barn is absolutely my favorite antique/thrift store!  Everyone is so friendly and kind. An added plus is knowing all the charitable donations that are made by shopping here. I just can’t say enough good things about this place ❤️

I am so glad I did not allow the recent negative reviews to hinder me from visiting today.  I happened to see the sign from the road and it caught my interest. I was not sure what to expect so I googled the shop and was impressed that every negative review had a heartfelt response from the owner addressing concerns and providing solutions. This won me over and I went in to the Barn. And let me just say I was blessed!! Found some very resonably priced clothes and a carpet runner as well as a set of hot rollers that when asked to reduce the price because it was missing the hair pins, they readily discounted the item. Both employees I encountered were delightful and most helpful. When I told the cashier that the reviews online were surprisingly negative, I told her I would be sure to leave a great review as I felt the experience was worth noting! I live in CT and will most definitely make a trip back to visit the other 2 floors of merchandise that I did not have time to enjoy.

Love that they give work experience opportunities to the disabled.  Store is not very large but is well organized. Cashier was very kind and helpful. The store is mostly boys and men's clothing but they also have a large section for babies. There is barely anything here for plus sized women. Everything was very cheap. The most cost inefficient items were the jewelry. The necklaces were $3 each. Store does have a tiny 1 stall changing room but has no seat and a wheelchair user probably will not fit inside. There are a few hooks and a mirror I'm the changing room. They had a lot of small clutches and wallets available when I went. I've posted pictures of my store finds below.

Great place! They have 4 floors of used items and can’t wait to go back when I have more time to explore all this place has to offer. We were greeted by the staff and the girl explained all the ways they give back to the community, so I was more than happy to contribute! They have a little bit of everything and it’s very well organized for having so much stuff to offer.

A lot of complaints on here are about prices being to high and items are out of date.. they are a non-profit full of donated items and a lot of the higher priced items are negotiable. So you definitely have to look past that! They also have time frames to donate items for them to
re-sell, so is also recommend that if you have something you’re willing to part with that still has some life to it

Love to visit the blessing barn... Always enjoy the creative displays and a chance to find a treasure for my home. The pricing is more than reasonable and the inventory is always changing so you never know what you will find. The employees are very nice and the profits go back into helping people in need in the community. So, what's not to love!

This is a very beautifully designed and artfully displayed secondhand shop. The prices are reasonable and items are of good quality. Very enjoyable to browse because of like-items organization. Had Christmas music playing. My friend and I enjoyed our stay and went home with some nice things. I understand that all the money made there goes to help fund local charities. Very nice.

I cannot say enough good things about this place.  I've gone twice both in Wednesdays for the $10 sale.  The bags are the size of the reusable bags at the grocery store. The clothing is clearly marked so you know what items are allowed for the sale.

Yesterday I filled two bags,  got myself 3 dresses for $4 each,  a pair of baby shoes that look like they were never used,  and a few toys plus a pretty necklace my daughter wanted for under $50.  I got clothes for myself, my 10 year old son who is now in the men's section and my two smaller children in those bags.

Can't wait to go again!!

Best thrift shop around! I'm a huge fan of thrift shops,  so while visiting my mother in law,  she told me alll about this place,  and the next I went down,  she brought me. It's very organized,  and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They also have a sale every day of the week on different this,  the day I visited, it was 20% Off books,  and media,  which was great! They also do a weekly Stuff A Bag sale,  where you buy a bag for $10, and stuff it full of anything you want! Excellent prices on most items,  while I did find some things a bit high for what they were. Also,  many items didn't have a price,  or it was a set price,  but I couldn't find where it was posted. I definitely recommend and I will definitely return!

I have been going here for years. It is nicely decorated with beautiful and creative displays. There are lots of beautiful home goods that have been generously donated and it can be relaxing to walk thru and browse. In recent years I have found it to be very "hit or miss" though. Their collections have become stagnant and they never seem to purge things out that have been sitting for a long time. Their prices have also gone up quite considerably and they very rarely have sales. The younger staff are usually friendly, but the woman that runs the store can be quite unpleasant and often rude to customers.
It is definitely worth a visit, but I would check their Facebook or Instagram posts first to see if they have newly stocked goods .

Huge lovely barn with lots of items to score! From furniture to household items, clothes, even wedding dresses! I found a great pair of Tommy Bahama black dress pants for the office for $10. Can't wait to return when I have more time!

Great spot. So well organized. Fair prices. We didn't find what we were looking for ,matching wing back chairs,  but that was a very specific item. Would go again.

Well displayed items in a large, clean store. Staff is generally pleasant and helpful. Their goods are diverse with really well-done staging. While you can feel good about buying second hand here the prices are not the thriftiest, to be honest. Always worth a stop and browse.

This upscale, boutique thrift store is a different breed than Savers, Salvation Army, and Goodwill. It's part high end estate sale, part antique store. The prices reflect the quality of the products, which are beautifully and neatly arranged throughout the space.

First visit here as always wanted to visit. I thought it was a very cool place overall but not what I was looking for. LOTS of glass ware, used clothing, furniture. Thought prices were a bit pricey for torn and soiled furniture but it is all for a good cause as items are donated. Check it out for yourself as place does draw a crowd.

While the selection was incredible, I had an off putting experience with an older cashier. (I didn't realize the price of a bowl set was $150!) I was caught off guard when she asked in a passive tone, "so... you're going to buy this entire set for $150?" Kinda assuming that I couldn't afford the dishware set, but I decided to pass on the item and Left the store empty handed. I might return but maybe to one of their other locations...

We have a bargain basement with daily sales, a Loyalty Rewards Program that gives discounts and private sales as well as apparel store that has fill a bag clothing sales. We do however understand we won’t be for everyone, hope you find a place that works for you!

This is a beautiful thrift store that is clean and organized, but I was genuinely shocked at the prices of many items. I felt like some things were priced even over retail. A tjmaxx dress for $18? Pottery for $40 I saw at Savers earlier that morning for $3.99... it was a huge letdown for anyone looking for a deal. The bookstore next door had amazing prices on books, though!

Stopped by this store when I was in the area today. While the store has 4 levels of merchandise, I just shopped the 1st and 2nd floors.
Some of the clothing and shoes seemed a little beat up. Prices seemed a little high for the overall quality. Moved onto the Furniture Department. Some beat up pieces there, too, and it was really hard to find much in pristine condition.
The items in the Household area were better, but prices were high. None of the staff, were friendly, or made any effort to greet customers, as they entered the store.
Being a Thrift Shopper, and highly value conscious, I left without purchasing anything. Didn't find the place inviting enough to want to return anytime soon. Think I found my trips to various Salvation Army Family Stores far more fulfilling.

Hi Erin! Items in the Apparel Store average around $2 an item and we also have Clothing Bag sales 3 times a week were you can fit more than a dozen items in one of our bags. Many people take part in our weekly sales and find them extremely affordable. We also have sales all throughout the week on almost every category. If you ever have a question on a price you can always feel free to ask a staff member or Manager. However, our students with special needs that we offer our vocational training to, do not have the authority to approve such requests. Through our Fill-In Program we give free apparel, baby items, kitchen items, furniture and more, to those in need. Overpriced. They don't know what stuff is worth and it shows. Used to be a good place for inexpensive clothes for the family, now it's ridiculous (remember, all this stuff is donated and it's run by a VERY WEALTHY church) I feel like if they were doing "christian" work in the community they would consider that they need to have some affordable stuff for people who thrift shop FOR A REASON (ant that reason is they are poor) instead of over charging and using the money on whatever "charity" they deem appropriate.

Sorry this is long but honest review as I have been thrifting for over 40 years. Sometimes for fun, sometimes to give back and sometimes because I just have to. I like to give back but I don't like being ripped off either.

Before I begin I apologize for being a "Karen" but seriously the pricing is EXPENSIVE!!!

Let me just say that I love their mission and it is a legitimate charity unlike other places. The staff are really friendly and seem caring. The place is beautiful BUT this place is NOT a thrift store. You need to be rich to shop here!!! It is antique store or department store pricing. Be warned before you drive 30 miles because of how gorgeous it looks on Instagram and everything is a "bargain". They have some really cute stuff but they sell a ton of stuff that is sold at TJ Maxx or Target for antique prices that are probably cheaper brand new right now. You can get Williams and Sonoma at other places for one or two dollars while they want 15 dollars for a 2 year old Target mug.  Even for-profit Savers doesn't overprice like this.

If you want some antiques I am sure they have anything you want for your farmhouse decor but you are paying full retail if not more. The Bargain Basement is still higher than any thrift store and it is mostly pure junk like broken items and just leftovers after a yard sale that you can't give away for free except it is overwhelming. For example a slow cooker insert being sold as vintage Ironstone for 30 bucks or dollar tree items. In closing, I did do research and they do donate the profits to where it should be going. If they were better at pricing items they could probably make more to give back. I am not trying to deter anyone because it is lovely inside but way too expensive for the average person. It's lovely to browse around but then you are reminded you are so poor you can't even afford a "thrift shop".
P.S. Don't bring your children because they will break something.

I’ve gone to this Blessing Barn and it’s Milford Branch that condensed with this one in 2017 consistently since about 2014. This was a great thrift store full of unique finds at great prices, usually home goods and craft supplies where my biggest victories. However, returning to this store today I do not have the same luck. Prices are outlandishly high for even the smallest items, Non-designer items, or items that are damaged. $50 for a leather handbag. $35 dollars for a lamp base. $40 for a dinged up lp box with the paint coming off. I wouldn’t pay these prices new. This is no longer a thrift store, unfortunately. It is however very beautifully curated with lots of unique vintage wears, just too high of prices these days.

Prices are high … they are charging Americans a lot giving away stuff undocumented people that’s cool if that’s what you wanna do, but there are plenty of people who are here that need assistance Who actually may be shopping here? What about them? The working poor cannot afford to shop here..
you need to do more for them ( not just freebies for the undocumented people I think they get enough freebies in food, stamps, free, housing, free food, pantries, etc. etc. etc.)

Tried to donate items to this location, called to get more info about it , lady who answered kept pushing to go online to setup appointment since I had more than 6 boxes. I asked her if she couldn’t just do it now that I’m on the phone with her? She answered YES. Asked me what items I had and just mentioned I had one equipment gear that was small not at all heavy just a fun item. Again kept pushing me to go online….. wait so you can’t? I thought we were already doing the process of setting up appointment over the phone? Employee can’t just list and notify items I can’t bring??? I had no furniture so no biggie. Next time don’t say you can make an appointment on the phone IF YOU CANT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ON THE PHONE. Wasted my time with her incompetence won’t ever purchase or donate to this place again.

went there today to look at a piano we’ve been interested in for a while, while my boyfriend was playing it he was asked by a employee to stop because he was bothering her, even though he was told before by her that he sounded great and they loved to hear him play. then the lady said he shouldn’t be playing with a broken hand and that she never encourages people to play it. also they overprice everything. there goes their $750 sale

We are not sure what sign you are referring to. There may be some items with firm pricing (antiques and custom items) but we are always willing to negotiate on prices. I'm going to reply to the owner of the blessing barn that commented on my review. I know your place does a lot of good for a lot of people, however there is a sign in the store saying your prices are firm.  What about the people who need to shop there who are struggling and want to find something they may want or need for a  lower price?
