2nd Hand Rose of Needham

A neighborhood GEM worth coming to from all over!! I feel so lucky to get to pop by here whenever I do my returns next door at UPS! I don’t live in needham, but my parents do, and I’ve been popping in since 2nd Hand Rose first opened. It’s such a cute space and feels magical in the way that they are able to curate so many amazing finds in an intimate and cozy setting! I find such great items here and the majority of my pants are from them! Whenever I have an event (a wedding, a vacation, a special event) I always try to make it over because, somehow, I always find the perfect piece (and often the entire outfit) at such a great deal. At this point, I’ve gotten to know all of the staff! What a sweet community, I even run into them at other spots around town. This truly feels like a neighborhood gift!! I was very disheartened and shocked to read such a negative review below this, I can only surmise that the person writing it was having a very bad day and brought that with them wherever they would have gone! As someone who has been popping in and out of this little shop for years, buying an array of wonderful items (that I am always complemented on), and getting to know the staff, I can’t recommend it here enough!! My goodness, the other day they even stayed opened late while I finished trying everything on, it was so fun, she and I were talking about our holiday plans and she helped me pick out an outfit for thanksgiving! Come here for the great clothes, and stay for the sweet feeling of neighborhood and community! One more perk, I am often there alone when I’m on errands, and I’m someone who likes to shop with friends so that they can make sure things are flattering on me in the areas I can’t see. Whenever I ask the team, they help me figure out the perfect piece and are always supportive to help me find something that actually looks great. Never trying to sell for the sake of selling! They get what it’s like figuring out the right fit and bring that care and compassion to their clients! I have a return to ship from UPS so I’m planning to pop by 2nd Hand Rose again today, can’t wait :)

Six years ago, I went here in a rush for a dress for a special occasion. I disliked shopping strongly at the time. Susan found me a dress and said it looked really nice, and that I could probably still be wearing it five years down the line. She was right! It was one of the best purchases I’ve made. This is a great place to get actual shopping advice and beautiful, curated items at great prices.

Greetings from Harwich Port. Found a new gem when I take a getaway from the Cape. Wonderful selection and labels all laid out perfectly. Not too overwhelming just right. Purchased a great designer hand bag for my mother this past spring and she absolutely loves it. Just have to now find the perfect wallet to go with it 👀… a big thank you to Jami for always making my shopping experience a special one. Staff very helpful, friendly and hands on with their clientele. Will absolutely be back soon!

Lovely cozy store with many quality items. We bought a woolen coat!

As a seasoned consigner/thrifter, I declare 2nd Hand Rose a gem of a store. The ladies who own the store have curated quite a collection of good quality, unique clothing that inspired my wild side. I left the store with a radical crushed lilac pant suit and a comfy, eye catching faux-fur jacket. My friend found a smashing coach purse that she has used every day since. So happy!!! Prices were reasonable and bargaining is welcome. Will return, recommend it for all!

I had wonderful virtual shopping experience with Lauri! She helped me pick out some lovely new pieces over zoom, and I am super happy with my purchases. She was very professional about dropping them off at my home, and allowed me to try pieces on before deciding on them. She assured me that 2nd Hand Rose has a process for keeping their customers safe at a social distance. I was very pleased with my experience and the quality of merchandise at 2nd Hand Rose!

Bought the most wonderful and unique item

I like spending time here! It’s very welcoming and comfortable, with lots of fabulous clothing, shoes and accessories to check out. I saw things so lightly worn or not at all. The owners know their customers, too. They seemed to know them by name and their tastes. They are very familiar with their inventory and if there is a backstory! I was inspired to bring my own items for consignment and I’m excited to use my credit ;)

Went to 2nd Hand Rose with my daughter the other day. So many beautiful selections of up to date everyday and holiday clothes. A pleasure to shop there. The staff was welcoming, friendly and able to help find items that might interest me without being overbearing. Great to have such a nice shop in the area. Also, if you want to become a consignor, ask them about that feature.
