Hi Adam, I see we have multiple Espeon VMax Alt Arts in stock with prices well under $260 currently. As you may know, market price fluctuates all the time with cards so if you see something with outdated pricing, you can always mention it and we can adjust accordingly. Thanks!

Prices are kinda high so they have an Espeon Vmax from fusion strike they want 260 dollars for a card that max is 210

Staff are nice! Very patient with me when I took way too long to look through boxes. Some things may be overpriced but just ask if they can update it before leaving a bad review! Market changes. Got a couple cool cards for a good deal!

Best card shop in the New Bedford area by far. Great prices on sealed product. I went during the Christmas season and they had a deal on shrouded fable ETBs for $30. Great service as well.

Prices and the way you were treated are fantastic. Definitely one of the best collectible card stores in the area.

I play the Pokémon card game at their league, and it has a truly welcoming atmosphere. I’ve been going to their league since March 2023 for their Obsidian Flames prerelease tournament, and I have been going ever since. The people running the store are great people, as are the people who also go to the league.

Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game!

Ive been comin here since august 8, 2023. And Ive enjoyed every second of Playing pokemon here. And now i can play DBZ and other cards games that are featured at this store. If you live nearby, come down to 1st editionn you wont regret it. If you live far, the travel is worth it.

Been coming to the shop recently only been a handful of times I’ve had the best experience one of the owners Will was super helpful and friendly great selection of Pokemon and one piece super fairly priced overall 10/10 I will be back

Owner is super chill, not pushing sales on you and prices extremely well. I was blown away by his collection, especially his graded and signed items. Bought some Yugioh singles and three packs of Battle of legends monsters revenge and pulled a $110 card so I was even more blown away. I know it was a rare chance to pull that.

My family and I attended an excellent Pokemon League Challenge event at 1st Edition collectibles. The tournament was organized, smooth, and well attended. The staff went above and beyond to make each participant feel welcomed and supported.

Do not hesitate to head to 1st Edition for shopping and tournaments! They have an amazing selection of Pokemon singles and awesome sealed product too. I know they plan to host future League challenges and cups, so we will be sure to make it back soon.

The experience is always dynamic having my card sent out to be graded.

I have never seen such a friendly place in my years of Pokemon collecting and the staff are the best of the best when knowing about the Pokemon. Mostly what was good about them was the nice staff and the inventory that they had, I hope to see them again every day possible.

This store is run by true professionals! I was very impressed by their expertise and sense of organization, not to mention how extensive and impressive their inventory was (wow!). The staff is super friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable. And they clearly care about their customers. Will be back!

Amazing customer service! Came in with my nephew just to look around as he is getting into Pokémon. The man at the counter gave my nephew some jumbo cards which he was over the moon about. Lots of selections and reasonable prices!

Met them at a local card show. They are great people, very knowledgeable about the industry, and had impressive products. Their prices were the best in the convention! I hope to see them again soon at another convention, but I will definitely have to come by to check out their store!

The workers are very nice and friendly. Easy to talk to and ask questions. The store is very clean. Very welcoming place. I love it. Spent almost an hour in there and it only felt like 10 minutes.

I love this place the guys that run this shop are really cool, they love to chop it up, rip packs, or just chill. Theirs always some sort of anime on the TV and I never feel like I'm being rushed out! I buy a ton of singles there and they use tcg median pricing. They have a bunch of interesting sealed items modern to vintage sealed and singles and the decent amount of slabs. I hope this helps

This is hands down the best card shop for Pokémon in all of RI and south eastern Massachusetts. Great friendly staff and very good prices on everything. They are also very open to negotiations as long as it is reasonable. Can’t wait to go back!!!!!

Small store, not a huge selection of cards. Staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful.

Don't come here without being extremely knowledgeable in the value of your own cards or one's you want to buy. Paid about $150 over market value for a graded pokemon card and I wasn't aware until I checked their website a day later. Good chance I won't be back.

First time there was amazing, I sold some cards and the guy was really kind and helpful, even asked if I was new to the area. Went again, to try selling some graded cards, and it was someone else working who was completely insufferable and acted like I was interfering with his day. Completely downplayed me before even looking and with much conceit. Hope whoever goes doesn’t end up dealing with that jerk with an attitude. Otherwise, they do have a great variety of old and new things. Solid place with not so solid staff.

Edit: People support us because we're reasonable and collectors above all else. Leaving a poor review that directly affects our livelihoods because we wouldn't price match ebay is rude and unprofessional. Once again, good luck with your haggling.

Good variety of sealed product, raw and graded cards. Unfortunately their pricing is high compared to market value. For an example, I inquired about a mythical collection box with no price on it. I found the exact box on eBay for buy it now at $125. I offered $110 expecting to just pay the $125 in cash. The gentleman was annoyed and told me the price is $185…30-35% mark up. Expect to haggle and check comps! This has happened a few times on different occasions and I have now removed them from shops to visit.

Again they do have excellent selection ranging from sealed product to cards. Kudos to them in that regard!

Edit: the response is telling. Rude and unprofessional. Not sure why anyone supports them?

I do not recommend this place AT ALL!! The owners/ workers are the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. Arrogant rude and unprofessional, I will never waste my time on them. I have sent family members to buy from this establishment and they have received the same treatment. I hope they do better.

Sorry to hear you feel that way Brian! Some of our more volatile items and singles, (Jordan Love Rookies etc.) are unpriced so that we can sell them at fair market value. If you'd like to shop priced items our cases are filled with firmly priced singles that are available at the sticker price! While we certainly take your suggestion of $1 rookies and $2 patches into consideration, we just can't sell cards at 10% of market prices. We hope you enjoy the rest of your day and happy hunting!

Ripped off a few times. They dont care about you unless you have money. Sell/buy your cards on ebay you get way more and buy them for way less. Ive dealt with 3 different people and only one of them  was any where near good at their job. Which is sad since what else do they do but deal with people.

Edit : one time i was offered 120 cash  i wanted to get 2 items and the rest cash was shooed out the door after 95 dollars in items was given (priced by your staff) this probably sounds insignificant to you but tells me how you treat customers.

We've come down to match comps for you in the past, but in this particular instance it didn't make sense for us to do so since we would rather keep it for it's upside potential, which we explained to you. Walked in saw a card I wanted it was priced at 175$ I had to tell them it was only going 70 to 90 dollars , they then lowered the price to 120 , the card has been sitting in the case for 6 months, he went on his computer and told me it’s only going for 70 to 90$ , I then asked how much he would want for it , he said 120 and said that he doesn’t need to move the card😭 , “I’m not in a rush to sell this” I was told , been a customer for 8 months bought multiple cards here, i don’t understand why would they ask so much for something while telling me to my face it doesn’t go for 120 🤣, I even offered 100$ and he wouldn’t take that lol, you guys have lost my business forever , just found a graded 9 for 120, and y’all want 120 for a raw card , and you told me to my face it’s worth 70 to 90 bucks, so why would anyone pay an extra 50?$ u guys suck

We're very transparent about our trade-in policy as we typically give 50%-75% of comps depending on the size of the lot, desirability of the items, etc. Also, most of our new TCG products we actually sell below MSRP. If you would be so kind to elaborate on your experience we would be happy to correct it.

These guys will offer you bottom dollar for trade ins all while charging a premium for most products, even new tcg products

Overpriced by a lot! I don’t know how to reply, so I just edited my answer.. by the looks of it everything is overpriced, I can find everything from wax to slabs cheaper on ebay. For a prime example your Joe Burrow Mosaic retroactive green psa 9 is for sale at $300. Last sold on ebay was $70. Please do better
