I’ve gotten a lot of my favorite clothes here! The prices tend to be about equal to normal retail prices because it’s a vintage store and not a thrift store. Great place with a great selection and the staff is always polite and nice.

At first, my experience here was good. However, my friend was trying on a piece of clothing that was supposed to be a dress (but she wanted to thrift-flip into a shirt), and the owner came around the corner and confronted us about not asking to use the dressing room when we just didn't see the tiny sign above the curtain. Instead of kindly asking us to ask permission next time, she talked to us a tone that suggested that we were trying to steal something (even after I had bought 2 rings from her). In addition to being unkind about not asking before trying on an item, she commented on how "that's supposed to be for a 6 year-old," which was extremely inappropriate and insensitive. I would understand being upset about people not asking before trying on an item, but outwardly commenting on what my friend was about to buy in a negative way was completely unacceptable. I wish I could say I'd go back to this store, but this negative interaction ruined my perception of the establishment.
I very politely said that you need to check in before using the fitting room as I would to anyone else & I don’t think it’s rude to inform someone that dresses that I purchased from the original owner that have survived 50 years & remain in perfect condition are a child size. I’d never discourage anyone from repurposing an item but that doesn’t mean an adult can try on an item that’s 8” in the pit with no zipper. Super curious in what way over those 5 seconds you felt accused of theft; that’s so completely inappropriate to say.
