Great service! So many items are at good prices. The places give discounts. Also, they give coupons to those who donate. Great place to find clothes, shoes, and treasure.

I’m an avid thrift store shopper. My name is Kevin and I have been a frequent shopper at savers in west Springfield, m. I also shop at the few other thr stores in the area. However, none of the shopping experiences have been as pleasant as savers in westpringfield is because of rhianna (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) The store manager over there. There has been many different managers there but none can compare to rhianna. She’s helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and just an amazing store manager. she‘s The best one by far and deserves this positive review and any other positive reviews. Any negative reviews that may be given about her are untrue and an attempt to tarnish her abilities to do the job which is not an easy task with some customers. I should know I worked in a big box retail store for 14 years. I just wanted to show rihanna how much she is loved by one of her admirer. I wish her all the best as she continues her job as store manager.

I like to spend my free time sometimes to walk into the store. Every time there are different stuff. It's easy possible to find in there pretty expensive gudgets or devices but for really cheap. You can also help someone if you bring your things to the Savers that you no longer need, instead of throwing them away.

The furniture guys in the back, wow amazing!!!!! Leo hands down was a tremendous help with my belongings I wanted to donate. Really hard workers. And even in these crazy heat waves going on. Everyone I saw back there was busting there butts. Not many get noticed behind the scenes and I wanted to shine some light back there way. Great job. Thank you again so much for all your help and doing what you all do. The hardest part of the job dealing with the bigger heavier items. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Edit: after putting in a complaint about this through their survey page, the manager followed up and called me. They agreed with me that enployees shouldnt be talking to their coworkers and customers that way and said they would address it. Review has risen back to 5 stars like a Phoenix. My usual problems with businesses is that they offer to just try to make me happy rather than saying they will address a problem. This always gets me because half my concern most of the time is that there is an issue that other customers are experiencing who just wont speak up like I will and what about them. This manager passed that test. Bravo. Old review: Been coming here for years to shop and donate and never really had a complaint until today. Stopped by today to donate a box of curtains, towels and blankets. They were really busy so I brought the box over and was speaking with one of the young men who was walking something over from the car next to me, seeing where he wanted me to place it and if he had any questions. All of a sudden an older man with lighter hair inside the building yells at me, interrupting my conversation with the young man who was being helpful "WHATS INSIDE?" I was taken aback, but I replied "Its towels and blankets." , then he starts yelling at the kid "YOU NEED TO CHECK INSIDE ANY SEALED BOXES" Thing is, box WASNT sealed, it just had the flaps folded over and second, he didnt have an opportunity because this guy started yelling at the two of us while we were discussing the contents and where he wanted me to place it so he could check it. Heres the thing, you shouldn't have any employees who talk to donators customers or co-workers in that way period. Theres no excuse for it. Second, even if I understood his concern he was completely in the wrong because he started barking accusations at me and orders at this young man while we were actually discussing whatever his concerns were and doing it in an actual civil manner, the way it should be done. I've seen this kind of person before whether a co-worker or a boss who just gets off on yelling at people and accusing them of things they didn't do for no reason and creating stories in their head about how people are doing things wrong because of whatever problem they have. This person either needs to be retrained or let go. All the rest of the crew there who have ever received a donation form me or helped me shop need a raise and promotion because they are dealing with the public and each other in the way that people are supposed to. Do better.

Donated lots of stuff to them & I have an even bigger treasure chest to drop off on Tuesday. I have been going through my rooms one by one & just purging. Savers is my favorite charity to donate to. I know that they help children in need. My daughter was on the end of that good fortune twice with 2 wonderful bigs. The both were from UMASS in Amherst & they made sure their time with my daughter was special. So giving to Savers to help children get Bigs is great. Plus I love shopping there too. Great finds at a reasonable price. Found a runner for my dresser to put under my television so not to scratch it. It is a beautiful woven fabric, nice earth tones. Cost me a whole whopping $3.99. Told you love the deals.

Think of it like going on safari--you will find what you were looking for and even more of what you weren't expecting to find if you have the patience for the hunt. Clothes are grouped by size rather than color which is a welcome, time-saving feature. There is a huge selection of second-hand clothes in good shape. After 3 visits and a thorough going over of all categories of clothing I have yet to find something stained or torn. Prices are fair and the store's promotion of thrifting as a green practice is a great marketing tool for those who care about such things. The end of your shopping adventure culminates on a high note when finalizing your purchase with one of the friendly, gracious employees on register.
