The best thrift store...always find treasures..love ❤️ it

Such a great little shop! So many awesome trinkets and clothing. I picked up a few items for some good prices. Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re a thrifter.

drove about an hour to this place, first time in & it was nothing, but pleasant. all of the staff were very welcoming, not to mention they have a bunch of cool jewelry!

All Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. They had a great selection of things, clothing, shoes, decor and jewelry. Good pricing on items lots of good finds here.

We have been going here for many many years.  Our children as well.  Visiting this store has been an every weekend tradition since our six year old and 2 year old were born.

Today was my first trip, it was nice to have a consignment/thrift store open on a Monday. Prices were amazing which made me purchase more. A great selection of vintage pins and brooches, along with trinkets glassware, pottery, shoes, boots, clothing, excellent assortment of old vintage, trunks, and suitcases. I can’t say enough About the items and the selections. As for the staff, they were awesome, professional, and super busy, I’m sure they are nonstop all day. One of the staff was very nice and helped me with jewelry behind the counter. I will be back, and I will be telling, every I know they should go check it out. I’ll be back next week.

Love this place! They always have new stuff,  and often have cool vintage items too. The prices are great. They actually price correctly and know what things are worth. They don't overcharge (like other thrift shops) just because things are old (vintage does not necessarily equal valuable).

I was kind of weary of small thrift + consignment shops because I’ve had some bad experiences in the past, but I finally went in here today, and now I’m wishing I’d checked it out sooner. They fit a lot of cool stuff into a small space without crossing the line into claustrophobic like some places do. The store has the homey feeling of a small-town antique shop, but with a variety of both antique and modern collectibles and designer clothes and accessories. The prices are very reasonable; those complaining about consignment here may not understand that higher consignment payouts would mean much higher sales prices for the customers. Will definitely be shopping here again.

Small store, friendly and helpful owner, was a pleasure to stop in. Got a few wonderful items there, and parking was easy.

Love this place!  An ever changing selection of cool finds! (Knick-knacks, clothes, purses, jewelry,some furniture, etc.) Very good prices & great staff.

I love this place. The prices are fair to buyers and to consigners. They have a great selection from shoes to women's/kid's apparel to home goods. Some of my favorite possessions have come from this store. They've done a great job at adjusting the store layout to flow better with distancing and have arrows on the ground to mark the direction of the aisles. Their hours are slightly changed at the moment, they're open 10-4 Monday through Saturday. They accept consignment drop offs Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10-3:30pm. It's a wonderful store and worth checking out even if you have to drive out of the way.

Hello Patricia.  I am the owner of Main Street Consignment and the shop is closed per the state order.  Once I am cleared to open again you will be able to pick up your consignment proceeds.  Payments of over $50 are mailed out to consignors automatically  but your payment amount due is only $4.50 so this is a cash payment you can pick up in store once I am able to open again or you can mail me a self addressed stamped envelope and I can send you a check. This is a difficult time for all of us and I hope you stay safe and healthy.  Looking forward to reopening as soon as possible and welcoming back all my consignors and customers.

Does anyone know the best way to get in contact with the store owner? I am a consignor and in the midst of the pandemic, I obviously have not been able to pick up a check of what I am owed. This is such a wonderful store and I look forward to when it can open again.

Lovely staff, always so wonderful to my children. My kids love this store and love looking around. They are always so kind to us even if we can be loud. Good business, good prices, and next to an amazing breakfast joint in same parking lot.

I love this place!! Some great finds,  always something unique! I've consigned here too and that was a good experience also!

I think the best part of this store is the ease at which you can be a consigner.  I myself have always wanted to take advantage of money spent on clothes that don't end up getting their worth but the aggravation of following the consignments schedule has prevented me from following through.  This place has one stipulation that you have your clothes hung on hangers but upon redemption they are returned to you.  The staff is friendly and patient.  Some stores are more clothing focused this store as a great variety.

We LOVE this consignment shop!  Whoever says otherwise, must be confusing them with the other one up the street that went out of business.  They have the business transactions down to a science. Staff is courteous and organized! As both a consignor and a customer, I am completely satisfied!

Recently moved to Boston and had to stay in a hotel in Tewksbury for about a week. Stumbled on this shop while looking for furniture. This place is fantastic. First off, all the other thrift/consignment shops in the area were a bit dirty and overpriced, which I'm use to. This place was super clean, and the prices were outrageously wonderful. Twice as better quality than nearby places for half the price. And compared to Boston thrift/consignment? Don't get me started. An awesome dresser for $45 that would fetch $400 in Boston. Just super great prices, quality, and cleanliness. Also, all the employees are super friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone, even if you have to drive an hour to get here, you'll save money and find what you are looking for. The also have a ton of antiques and knickknacks too!

Cute; small place(so it is very manageable and not overwhelming for a shorter trip); it seems like they are choosy with what they accept so what I got was all great quality and fashionable.

Cheapish food. Good selection and cleanliness. Accommodating to hiring people of disability in my observation.

Went for the first time the other day. I had no no idea this place existed! Found some great items, and prices were reasonable for the most part.
The WORST part for me, especially as a disabled person, was the fact that there are NO regular shopping carts, only those small hand held baskets. I walk with a cane and have very weak hands and arms, so I had to keep putting the basket down and there’s only room for a few things. They said I could bring things to the front for them to hold, but I said I can’t keep walking up to the front multiple times.
I also commented that the person writing out the tags needs to write neater/clearer, and I was given the excuse that there’s not much room to write on those tags. Sorry, but they can be written much neater, it doesn’t have much to do with lack of space.
The last negative is it takes FOREVER to check out because they hand write every item in a receipt. This just takes much too long.
I wish they would take my suggestion and have at least maybe one or two carts for disabled people like myself, but I don’t think it will happen. Overall though, I’ll definitely go back, but not as often as I would if a few simple changes were made.

They do have a good selection but I was off put by the cashier 7/8/24 3:30 pm not very welcoming at all.

Some workers here can be rude. Was asked to step outside while having a conversation on my phone and told its store policy. There was hardly anyone in the shop at the time i wasnt being loud or disturbing anyone

I am so glad you won't be returning to our store - you were very rude to my employees which I find is a terrible way to behave to staff.  You can have a problem with the store but to be mean to staff who were nothing but nice to you is just awful.  I hope you can try and do better elsewhere.  Additionally,  you clearly missed missed our posted drop off hours on our website (did you even check before making the drive as they are explicitly stated right up the top of our website?). 

When you signed up to consign with us, you SIGNED OUR CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT which explicitly states it is the consignors responsibility to find their items - you AGREED TO THOSE TERMS WHEN YOU SIGNED UP.  Clearly, you didn't read the consignment agreement. And, as unfortunate as it is, we DO have to  deal with people stealing in our store (which, again, as stated in our consignment agreement which you signed, we are not responsible for theft.) 
Finally, you spent all of FIVE minutes looking for you items; as you said, we have a large space and it is going to take more than 5 minutes to find your items and afterwards, it seemed you did miraculously find your items after being rude to the employee who pointed you in the right direction.

In sum, you were very rude to my employees, which we don't tolerate, and secondly, you clearly didn't read your consignment agreement which specifically states that the consignors are responsible for picking up and finding their own items.  Thankfully, we don't consignors like you and we have closed your account.

I find them rude. They should post online the days you are allowed to drop items off and what items they accept. I drove there with a car full of items and was told it was not a day they take "inventory" in and had to return another day.

I went to pick my items up that did not sell. You don't know what section of the store they've place your items in and are told you just have to look around because "they can't walk around with you to help you find them" I told her I did look and I couldn't find a few of my items that I was going to take back. In their store, this is like looking for a needle in a haystack, especially if you had small items you left with them. She replied rudely that "they may have sold or gotten stolen" if I was unable to find them.

Maybe they should inventory or mark their products/sections better so that customers can have an easier time picking up their items that haven't sold without needing their assistance to find them. I don't usually leave bad reviews when I have poor service but this is the second time I've had issues with this store and I won't be returning.

Hi Liz, I am sorry we have received one of your many one star reviews and I am not sure anything we say will be satisfactory to you. However, looking at the two pictures you posted, the purple color sticker is distinctly different from the blue. I am not sure what is confusing about these two colors.

In the future, if you come back to the store, which we sincerely hope you do, you'll notice that all our tags, regardless of color, have dates on them as when the item was received into the store and which is the basis of all our sales. (You'll notice the Kitchenaid mixer has a 9/11 date on it and as such, has only been in the store two days and would never be 75% on day 2.) I will see if I can attach a picture of the two colors (blue and purple) to help clarify. 

They mark things with blue tags then gaslight you and tell you those tags aren’t blue and refuse to give you the sale price. False advertising is against the law.

I had a chance to speak with my employee and remind her how important it is to provide customers with the best service possible. They posted an item for sale on their page, so I went there. I couldn't find it so I went to the counter to ask about it and then nothing but attitude from this old lady. All I had in my hand was my phone, and she was like, Are you all set to leave? I said I'm looking for this item and showed her the photo and she was like it's gone, then 3 seconds later ,  I don't know and turned away. Ignorance at its best.

8-4-2021 - an Hour+ of my life Wasted!! 😡
Called the other day and they only take items Wed-Fri. I told them I have 3 items;
2 handmade afghan blankets and
a beach cooler. I called again today and they said to just come on over.
The two middle-aged women behind the counter were definitely not welcoming, friendly or could even break a smile.
I was standing there wearing my Covid mask and one of the women came out and tried to stand right next to me. I had to keep backing away. Then she said, we don’t take handmade made afghans! 😡 then instead of any negotiating on the beach cooler, she said $20 and they would take half of that. I told her this was a total waste of my time and they could’ve told me that they don’t take afghans when they said they did. Also, it wasn’t until I arrived they have a 5 item minimum! 😡
Both of these middle-aged women seemed to have a demeanor of, they didn’t give a $h&@ about Anything - including MY Time!! 😮

Just for the record, this review was left by a former employee who was let go because she failed to come to work one day and never called in to say she wasn't coming in.

Just to be clear, I didn’t come in during a blizzard thinking you would be closed... because it was a blizzard. I did try calling but no one answered, so I figured the store was closed. Also, I am allowed to leave a review just like anyone else. My one star was based on several other aspects, if we really want to get into it. The store itself is fine, not much selection when it comes to children’s things. Mainly though, my issue came down to how I was treated as an employee. minimum wage + no type of extra compensation for tasks asked of me that were outside the job title (i.e. requiring me to drive places in my own vehicle, walking a dog, running errands..)
