Just looked them up and soooo relieved they are still around, will be visiting next week. They refinished a lamp that was gifted to me by my father that was in terrible condition. Picked it up upon completion and wasn’t even sure it was the same oil lamp. It was beautiful, it looked like it was brand new. It wasn’t an ultra valuable piece but they treated it and me as if we both were. Top notch quality work and customer service, very knowledgeable and professional. Will be using again soon!

Years ago we left them a silver serving bowl to be refinished. Probably worth about $50-75. About a year went by and we actually kind of forgot about it. Then, while looking for another thing at home, we realized it was gone. We wracked our brains and remembered we had taken it there to be worked on. We contacted them and were told, “Sorry, it was stolen.” That was it. No reimbursement from insurance. No offer to give us a store credit. Just, “Sorry, it was stolen.” They never contacted us. Something about “someone was in the hospital.”Needless to say we will never again seek this establishment’s services. Not the end of the world, after all we had forgotten all about it, but really a bad business ethic.
