Went here and got my nose done! It was really nice and quick. It was a last-minute thing, and I called, and he met us right there. He explained treatment and such. It was definitely a good place.

Went to get a nose piercing today, was very quick and easy, everyone was nice and understanding! the piercing wasn’t like what they usually do in the other oc piercing shops, very professional and sterile.

The staff was so nice!! I lost part of my earring and they replaced it for me no problem. I 100% recommend!!!! also the shop is soooo cute!

10/10 recommend! We stopped in because a new piercing had lost a ball from the barbell. They were so quick and helped us in no time at all! Super kind and great vibes.

I got my third lobe piercing done during my trip in Ocean City. The shop was very cool and clean. Everyone was very professional and knew what they were talking about. Dan did a great job with the piercing. Emily was super sweet.

Great team at Dimensions! I contacted them in advance through text as my daughter wanted a body piercing and is only 17. They were very responsive and answered all my questions. We both ended up getting piercings, it was quick and easy. Clean shop. Highly recommend!

I could not have had a better experience here! Dan was super informed and I felt like I was in good hands. It’s more expensive than most piercing shops, but you’re also getting an experienced piercer that has a vast knowledge, and with good quality jewelry. I think that makes it worth it 100%. The girl up at the front (I never got her name) was sooo sweet and helpful. This is a really reputable shop, and I all around had a great experience here and will definitely return for more piercings.

When they say don't get pierced on the boardwalk... They're NOT talking about Dimensions. I've been to about 10 piercing and tattoo shops for my various art and body mods, and Dimensions is hands down the best place I've been to. Very clean, very professional, lovely staff that was happily willing to answer tons of questions from this OCD person. Wonderful experience

Lauren was really helpful and sweet! Dan was patient and very polite. I really appreciated how comfortable he made me feel while doing my piercings. It was a great experience! I will definitely be going back for any future piercings!

It’s always a great experience with Dimension especially with Dan. We come to OC every year and get pierced by him. We would call ahead most of the time, we would walk in sometimes. He does a really great job every time. I don’t know where are this negative reviews are coming from. His getting reviewed base on his personality not because of the piercing, you went to a piercer not a bar. If you want to talk to him let him finish his job because he concentrates when piercing his customers.

Also a piece of advice, you have to understand healing and pain is base on YOUR anatomy. Some people would heal fast some people wont. Some piercing is very painful some are not. So it really depends on YOUR anatomy. If after care says 3 months your fully healed, no thats just standard coz that depends on YOU. I usually would wait 1 year sometimes more to be sure that I’m fully healed coz my healing time is slow. If you get infected easily just like me make sure you double much better triple your after care. Caring for your new piercing is YOUR responsibility not the piercer, don’t play the blame game.

Anyway if you don’t want the wait call ahead and get the time more convenient for you coz they are great accommodating the customers. We never had a problem with him with waiting.

I've had a lot of piercings done at Dimensions with Dan over the years. I come to OC every summer and Dimensions is always part of my yearly stopped. Dan is an excellent and very professional piercer. I don't trust any piercer but Dan. I just had my helix done yesterday and everything went smoothly as always. The shop is so cool and has a great vibe! The lady at the front desk was so sweet, helpful, and professional. Overall, it's always a great and memorable experience! If I could give 10 stars, I would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10!

Did a great job on my belly button piercing, and two weeks later i bought a hoop for my previously done nose piercing. I went home and couldn’t get the hoop in, and ended up ruining it. Went back a third time to get a new hoop and have the piercer put it in. They gave me almost 10 dollars off for my troubles, and they were so nice. The piercer is super nice and easy to talk to and he did a great job. He took his time (almost 20 mins) trying not to hurt me while getting my hoop in even though there were people waiting. It’s expensive, but if you’re gonna get something done at OC, it’s worth the extra money to go to a place that makes you feel comfortable and informed. Love the way they do business.

Went to OC with my siblings a few weeks ago for a family vacation and we stopped in to Dimensions for some piercings. Had a 10/10 experience. The shop is so cute and well kept. Both Dan and Bridgette were really friendly and helpful. Unlike a lot of other places on the boardwalk, you can tell that they are professionals. From their titanium grade jewelry, to their sterilization setup and their aftercare instructions, they really know their stuff. My fiancé and I felt really comfortable being pierced there and both of our piercings have healed really well.
My advice, stay away from the other “piercers” on the boardwalk. If you want to be safely pierced by a trusted professional, go to Dan and Bridgette. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Great experience! The location is fun and inviting. Piercing room was private, hygienic and clean. My piercer was meticulous, and did a great job with my sister and I. The staff were charming but equally professional, and gave us a great deal and price. 10/10 would go again.

I'm OC for the weekend with my fiance for Cruisin' Ocean City, and had the urge for another piercing. Inquired every single place and Bridgette was the only one that stuck out. They genuinely cared about placement and making sure it looked good and that I had the right starter ring for my labret. I will definitely come back to make sure these guys do all of my future piercings. Totally worth the drive.

I can't express enough how satisfied I am with being pierced here! Bridgette was amazing and very meticulous about making sure my vertical labret was straight and in the right place. I was super scared when she said she wasn't going to use a clamp but it went incredibly smoothly. Lauren (Laura? I'm so sorry, I didn't fully catch your name!) was so pleasant to chat with while I waited to get pierced, she even gave me suggestions for places to eat! 20/10 recommend you go to Dimensions if you're thinking about getting something done!

I was on the boardwalk with some friends when we decided to get piercings. We went into the shop and spoke to the lovely lady at the front. She helped us pick out which jewelry we wanted as well as which ones would work best for our anatomy. She walked us through the after care routine and gave us tips on how to make sure our piercings would heal the best. When I was getting pierced, my piercer walked me through the entire process. He was very friendly and professional.
Even though this place may be slightly pricier than the other piercing shops on the boardwalk, it is so worth it! It cost me a little more money, but in return I got access to a clean environment, quality jewelry, and a really amazing group of employees.

Owners and staff are all awesome and extremely pleasant to work with! Got my belly button pierced here in September and they did a fantastic job. Will come back here to get anything else done.  Don't go to the cheap other places on the boardwalk. You will get what you pay for.  This place is legit. Uses safe procedures and quality jewelry. I love Dimensions

I dropped in today to get a helix piercing - first of all I wasn’t sure what I wanted was called. The young lady checking me in (I am so sorry for not asking your name dear) was so kind caring and compassionate. I wanted the piercing in order to wear an earring of my son’s - we lost him recently. She offered me a hug (2 actually) and gave me comfort. Bridgette was also so informative and compassionate, letting me know everything that was happening. She was also so very kind and caring.  What an awesome place and people. I’m so happy I found you in my search for a place to get a piercing. Please know that I will think of you every time I look at my earring. Peace.

Impromptu nose piercing idea on a trip to OCMD. This shop had great reviews on google and that was SO important. Some of the other piercing places in the boardwalk are sketchy, not this shop! This shop was clean and the staff were very friendly. Bridgette was AMAZING when she pierced my sister and my nose. She explained they are a year around LOCAL piercing and retail shop, unlike many of the other stores on the boardwalk. They care about you and how your piercing will hold up. She was kind, gentle and knowledgeable. Explained the whole process and went over what to expect during the healing process. The shop is super cute, clean and aesthetically pleasing. I would 100% recommend to locals and especially out of towners.

This place is AMAZING! I stopped in yesterday for two piercings. Bridgette was patient and took her time, explaining all options. I had an idea of what I wanted when I went in, but after talking for a while I ended up with something I like much better! Bridgette's honesty, patience, and kindness are unmatched. Dimensions is a fantastic place for body piercing. I’ve had several piercings from other places and this place was the best hands down. Heather at the front, took time to answer all of my (many) questions and helped get us set up. Bridgette pierced my 6 year old daughters ears and I got a daith. She was SO kind, and talked us through the whole thing. It was a very clean studio, and a quick procedure.  We never felt rushed, everything was fully explained and we really felt cared for by the staff.  Thank you so much for being a part of my little girls story, we made memories for her lifetime today and your kindness and professionalism were a huge part of our successful day.

We stopped in just to check prices but I ended up getting my nose pierced. Very reasonable, extremely clean and incredibly professional!! I've had my nose pierced before, but wanted it redone bc its been closed for quite some time. The girl at the front was very informative and super nice! The line got super long after we arrived and she handled it alone like a boss! 💪 I would definitely recommend this place, and there's not too many "boardwalk shops" I'd say that about 😁👌👏

Excellent service at this shop! From the ladies that checked me in to Shane who did my piercing. Extremely professional, nice, patient and thorough. He was great at explaining how to clean the piercing area and made sure that it was exactly what I wanted. All of the staff working took the time to answer my (many) questions and even offered to help me with any questions after I got home. Will definitely be returning here when I’m back in town and will refer my friends!

My friend and I both got piercings there and it was a fantastic experience! Our piercer was very friendly and professional which made it welcoming and calm. She spent a good deal of time with us and was great to converse with and  we were also pleased with the quality and placement of our piercings! The staff on the first floor were very helpful and sweet as well and were able to assist us with further questions and purchases. Definitely going back next time I’m in town!

They did my nipple piercings while I was on vacation with my boyfriend and his family. Super friendly and cool staff!! They anodized the titanium for me and everything (I got blurple, because I thought it would match my hair and indeed it does! Of course, they have a wide selection of colors to choose from.). Very nice couple owns the place, with an adorable baby boy if you ever get to see him! Super cool aesthetic to the place as well! Will definitely be following up next year to get my jewelry changed if I have any new.

My favorite place to go to Im a local and this is the only place I recommend to either locals or people visiting I know choosing a piercing shop out of town is hard or scary especially seems sketchy when its a shop on the boardwalk but I honestly will never go anywhere else its locally owned by a couple and they're opened year round which is amazing if you have any questions during the healing process Dan and his wife Bridgette are the only ones to ever pierce me and I will never let another person poke me with a needle who isn't them. They're also very sweet and kind and make it a very relaxing process especially if you're nervous about getting a piercing and everything is sanitary and sterilized and its high quality material. OH also they have really cute clothes and body jewelry and the store has a very retro vibe. Five stars from me

I was a walk in. On a vacation high, I decided to get my nose pierced. Bridget, my piercer and a mom to be, was amazingly kind and patient. She answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable about getting my piercing. She talked me into it without pressuring me and efficiently gave me all the care instructions. She talked me through it and was very informative in the piercing process. She was honest with me and I liked the genuinity. She let my mom and sister come in my room with me when she was piercing me. She went above and beyond by cleaning it a few times even after she had pierced it just to ensure cleanliness. We loved her so much she ended up piercing my mom as well! 10/10 would recommend this place the pricing is standard and the jewelry is 100% safe especially for sensitive skin!

This is by far the only piercing place on the boardwalk that you can trust. All the other places look extremely shady. Dimensions is clean and professional. The staff super friendly and very patient. I have a hard time making decisions and can be super indecisive, but finally chose a fire opal for my naval piercing. I was never rushed and they were super patient with me. Bridgette was amazing! She really took her time and checked and double checked before piercing me. Especially being 8 months pregnant, I give her all the credit and really appreciate the time and dedication she took to do my piercing. She even had me sit and wait to make sure I was okay and so she could clean it. Super professional and just very awesome. I have very little pain and even within a little over 24 hours, it’s healing nicely. Will definitely be back! Thank you!!!

Had an absolutely amazing experience!! My friends and I were on our senior trip and spontaneously decided to get our daith’s pierced (mine was for migraines). We called the shop and they were able to get us in right away. The employees were super nice and easy to talk to. The area where Dan pierced our ears was clean and sterilized. He did an amazing job and made us all feel comfortable and we all love our new piercings. My piercing bled a little more than I expected so I went back to the shop and Bridgett took me in right away, cleaned it and told me it was normal and would stop soon. It has now stopped and looks amazing ! I couldn’t be happier with my experience there!

This is the best place ever to get pierced! I stumbled in during my Senior Week in 2005 and have only ever come back here for my other piercings. The staff is low key and chill, but also super informative and helpful. The entire place is clean and their tools are completely trustworthy. I've never had any issues with any of my piercings. They heal quickly and nicely. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking to get pierced. Also! Ask for Dan! He's phenomenal! Super fast, super low (if any!) pain, and he knows how to make it look good! :)

Dimensions is the cleanest and most professional piercing shop in Ocean City. The staff is extremely attentive and super knowledgeable!! Don't be afraid to ask them questions or talk to them about any piercing you're considering--they are there to help. They all provide such a great experience while getting or even just considering a piercing!

The owner/piercer Dan is great. He's friendly, quick, precise and really cares about quality. He and the staff all stress the importance of quality jewelry and aftercare which really is so important!

The pin up/skater vibe of the shop is unique. If you aren't getting a piercing, you should still stop in! They have a HUGE jewelry selection including pretty much anything you can think of, and it's all really nice stuff.  The first floor of the studio has really cute clothes and accessories for girls and guys, skate stuff, and sometimes they have local artists pieces for sale which is always a nice touch. Plus, the staff are all super friendly and fun!

Got my nipple redone and my septum. Different times, both healed amazingly. The piercer knows what he’s doing. However, was confused why my first piercing months before was much less pricey than the septum. All in all, happy customer and wouldn’t go anywhere else then dimensions!

I’ve taken 3 off my daughters here for piercing, 2 belly rings and a nose piercing. All 3 times the piercer was rushing us and wasn’t at all nice about any of it, the first time. We paid over $100 for the last time and ended up leaving after the guy was mean to my daughter while she was having anxiety about not getting the belly ring we chose. He tried to explain why he wouldn’t use the jewelry we paid for, but was hostile when my daughter didn’t understand. She’s not an expert here and didn’t want to make a decision she’d have to live with for months without thinking about it. He gave us no time to decide. He could have given us time and pieces someone rose, but instead he talked about us in front of other customers and said he wasn’t going to do it at all. Why so mean? Why so rushed? At least we got a refund. I’d give less stars but I’m not as means as that guy.

Piercing was done well and quickly. The shop was very clean and the employees working the front were very nice and helpful. However, the piercer was very rude and unprofessional. Took 2 phone calls while piercing me and my friend. Took a while to actually pierce us after we were in the room. Very cocky and made snide remarks the entire time. Insulted one of my friends previous piercings by another shop. Definitely knew what he was doing and pierced well. Would have gotten 5 stars if the piercer wasn’t unprofessional. Girls at the front were amazing.

The interior of the shop is very nice and the girl at the front desk was super sweet and went through the jewelry options with me giving details and prices of each one (i got my bellybutton pierced). i was very nervous to get it done because it was going to be my first body piercing other than my ears, the piercer that worked on me was a man who was very clean and seemed to be very experienced in his work. he went through the process of cleaning and setting everything up in front of me which i appreciated, but he was very quiet and barely said anything, he didn’t try to ease my nerves in the slightest or make small talk beforehand to get my mind off things (which many piercers do). this took away from my experience quite a bit because i was trying to make small talk and he wasn’t very responsive and seemed like he just wanted to get it over with. he did do good work and the piercing looks amazing. would recommend if you don’t mind that sort of thing.

I just left about 10 minutes ago from this facility. The girl at the front desk was wonderful. Super nice, kind and punctual with information and questions. We had a little wait for the piercer to come. He was not in yet. Which I thought was weird, but we waited patiently. We purposely went early so we beat the line. Little did we know we waited 40 minutes for him to show up. When he did finally
come he didn’t greet anyone. He said who is up first and took you in the room. Absolutely no personality, didn’t speak and had no bed side manners at all. He cleaned his stuff, asked what side of my
nose and instantly did it aggressively with no communication of what to do, how to sit or when he was going to start. I even said I was scared of needles, he didn’t care. He was rushing and didn’t care to make you comfortable. Not only was he not talking and quiet the whole time his piercing was extremely rough. I have had a nose piercing years ago and it never was this rough. He was forceful and made the experience extremely painful and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place at all if the owner is piercing. It was absolutely unprofessional!!

This was my worst experience getting pierced and half my piercings were done at Claire’s. The piercer delayed my appointment for almost two hours, and when he finally decided to show up he was very rough. I was getting my cartilage repierced and, besides ripping my hair out, it was a very painful experience. I tried to explain to him that it was previously pierced and that I was also nervous about the needle, but he wasn’t listening. He shoved the needle through my ear before I could even finish talking. Before I could even move my hair out of the way. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had gone with my friend who got her nose pierced and she also had a rough and painful experience. Don’t get pierced here, get your piercings done at a reputable piercer.

Horrible experience. The piercer was never there and my husband was promised a text. After several texts to them he got scheduled.
The piercer did not have him rinse or mouthwash before his (my husband's) lip piercing and used a ring instead of a stud. Red flags!!
My husband had to get it changed out to a stud by another piercing place, which should have been used in the first place. Always get pierced with studs for side labret and make sure your mouth is cleaned with mouthwash or something else.

Really disappointed to be giving this bad review but I figured I’d try to save others from going and being disappointed. I’ve been here twice for a navel piercing. Once 5 years ago and then again two weeks ago to have it redone. I had to take previous one out because even after a year it was not healing right. I didn’t think it had anything to do with being done incorrectly here so I felt comfortable returning.

Firstly, when I got there I was informed they were out of their traditional belly rings and they had a discounted option on the diamond looking one or another kind. I chose the lower priced one because the other just looked to bulky for me.

The piercing process was fine. However, when I got home I started to realize how TINY the balls were on the bar. It was digging into my skin and just was not healing right and the swelling wouldn’t go down. NO it was no infected. I went to a local reputable piercer and she was dumbfounded. She said first off I was given a surface piercing which ran the risk of migrating or rejecting. AND on top of that it was a completely wrong bar put in my navel. She said it was way too small. The bar and the balls. Picture attached to review. She removed it for me and also looked at my scars from previous piercing that was also done here. She said even that one was done improperly. She said my anatomy was perfect for a navel piercing so she has no idea how it was messed up this bad. She also said if they didn’t have the proper jewelry they shouldn’t have been doing navel piercings PERIOD. So now I’m out $80+ and have to get it redone again. Again, I’m so sad to have to leave this review because I truly loved dimensions and heard such good things.

Paid for piercing, had a delay because the piercer was not available. Once I came back waited 20 mins downstairs, then was told to go upstairs I was next. There was someone ahead of me that said they had waited since 7 pm which now it was past 9pm. Seriously who has 2 hours to wait for a piercing. Poor service but are friendly about it.

If I could leave 0 stars I’d leave 0 - we came down here for my friend’s 30th birthday and were super excited to come get piercings. We walked in about 5:00 pm and the woman at the front desk said she had to call the piercer as he wasn’t here yet. After about 10 minutes of her arguing on the phone with him she said he would be in at 9:00 pm and told us to come back. We came back at 9:00 pm and she said he was almost here. He didn’t show up until 9:30 pm and was EXTREMELY impersonal. He didn’t apologize for being late, he just said “who’s up?” And took the person getting pierced.

Then one of the women that worked here asked probably 5 to 10 times who was getting piercings. Not sure if maybe she was high or just not paying attention but we had to explain numerous times which of us was getting piercings done.

I also specifically asked for titanium jewelry which they said they “only use” however as someone who is highly allergic to anything except titanium I can tell you by just looking at the jewelry it is NOT titanium. Titanium is thick and a very hard metal and the jewelry displayed is paper thin.

It’s no problem if you don’t use titanium but don’t claim you do if you don’t. People have allergies and you’re going to cause a lot of infections.

If you don’t care about waiting, have no allergies to metal, and don’t have issues with incompetent staff, then I’m sure this place is fine for you to get a piercing.

I walked in to try and get pierced and was told to come back in 2hrs or to call the next day at 11 to see about getting in. I didn’t have time to wait so I said I would just call. I called and was told they do walk ins all day so just come in whenever. I walked in later that afternoon and was told to come back in 3hrs. Both times the only person in there was the guy working behind the counter. How ridiculous.

This place is very unorganized and unprofessional. Weeks before getting a piercing here, i had messaged them and made sure they had a notary and everything. We arrive the first day- notary isn't there. i thought, okay! i'll just message to see when she is there! next day- notary is there, but leaves as soon as the piercer gets there?(why is your piercer getting there at 4:30, when the shop opens at 12...) but it's okay, because the notary said they will be there all day today! well, messaged them, they said their notary wouldn't be there till the end of the week...if they would have just let me know, i could of got my form notarized somewhere else but i was under the impression that out of convenience i could just get it notarized there.
it's such a shame too, because the place looked nice, retro and very clean. just really seems like they need appointments and are very unorganized. the girl at the counter was polite too, even though she did tell us the notary would be in the next day.

Worst customer service ever. I was trying to get my 16 year old daughters belly button pierced. The website states that for under 18, an appointment is required. We called the shop and they said the piercer was not in yet and he would be in around 4. We called after we had dinner again, to confirm he was there and they stated he was there and we didn’t need an appointment. I told them we were on our way. We arrived about 30 min later to be told that the piercer was no longer there. Extremely frustrating. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Who owns a piercing shop where you can never get a piercing, no matter what time of day?
