We have really enjoyed going to Alamo for years. Always organized. Usually lots of selections (of course that varies), reasonable prices, especially when you buy the color tags on sale that day! BUT…. today they went over and above the call of duty! My wife left an item (bag) we bought on the counter three days ago, and the manager took the time to receive a copy of the receipt, use the time stamp to find the spot on the security cameras, review it, and then FOLLOW the item from one employee to another as it was handled, and after being unable to find who bought it, finally returned it to stock. I was allowed to come back today, find it, and take it home! I was very impressed AND GRATEFUL for the care with which this was handled! I have recommended Alamo to many a friend over the last 20+ years, but now even more so! Twas a wonderful experience resolving this today. THANK YOU ALAMO THRIFT!!!!

seems like every one complaining about the prices want everything given to them. This place has tons of great deals especially since buying new clothes costs so much now. yeah there are some things that are high value items, but that's EVERYWHERE.

Good secondhand articles (clothing, pots & pans, silverware, clean used furniture) men's, women's and children's clothing and other interesting things !! Oh, and they've got used TV's some even have their remote, so come on in especially if you are an Educator and or student, just bring your school ID!! (On certain days and certain hours)

I just LOVE this thrift store! Every time I come into town it's one of my favorite thrift stores i have to come to. The store is always clean & organized. Also the employees are very friendly & service is quick. They get a A++++ in my book ! **** Just came back in town & went by & was surprised at the lack of inventory they had on the racks.... But this thrift store has never let me down before soooo I'll go back in a couple of days...fingers crossed.
