Edit: I just snagged this Coach purse from Uptown and after my discounts/store credit, I paid $16 for it. I found the EXACT same purse for sale on a few different websites for $320-$135. That savings is INSANE.

I didn’t get the name of the guy who helped me but he was so kind and helpful. The only thing I would suggest if you can start moving to the security tags a little bit further from the clasp or zipper. I tried on a few things I couldn’t quite close. This place is my favorite!

The NICEST, cleanest, most organized (colors, sizes, style, etc), high end thrift store I have EVER been in on ENTIRE east coast. It’s the “Rodeo Drive” of thrifts stores! Employees are friendly as well. I would want to keep this place a secret if I could! EVERY thing is like NEW!

Great experience. The staff was so nice and helpful. I was looking for some work pants and found 2 pairs that fit great! They have so many amazing brands and styles to choose from! Also, you are able to try on in the store and their fitting rooms have a generous try on area. They have clothes, shoes, purses and more! From smaller to xxl ladies and mens sizes, I even checked the shoes and was happy to see that I can let my friends with larger shoe sizes know that they have a place to shop and pay less. They also offer a 30 day return policy for returning items as long as you have the receipt and original tags on them, for an exchange or for store credit. They also have a sign-up to recieve offers when they have a sale! Definetly coming back for sure! Thank you!

My sister and I took clothes to consign and have nothing but great things to say.  We were reluctant because we’ve had some unfortunate experiences with consignment shops in the past but the Salisbury uptown cheapskate changed our minds. Upon walking in we noticed the store was neat clean and organized! Directly after walking in we were greeted by the staff that is so kind, knowledgeable , smiley and attentive throughout the whole process! I wish I had each associates name so I could personally shout them out! We will definitely be returning to consign more… and shop! We’ve also recommended to everyone we talked to after our positive experience. Keep up the good work!

This was one of my best experiences with thrifting. As a plus size girly, I wasn't expecting to find anything. Boy was I wrong! Among all the stuff I brought, my favorite was a dress that was practially new at an amazing price. Even the store was clean & organized. The staff was so helpful and kind. 10/10 would recommend! Looking forward to my next visit in town.

I've been here multiple times over the past 7 years that I have lived in Salisbury, and I have never been disappointed! The employees are so nice and helpful, the store is always clean, and the clothes are always in good shape and clean as well.

it was such a great time in the store. I got to pick through the items that I wanted either. They had a variety of items. Not just one thing. They’re all good brands. Great material they’re not ripped up or anything in all. I had a great experience the customer service was amazing. The fitting rooms were nice. The store was clean. Everybody was very open to helping me also.

Uptown Cheapskate has a really nice browser friendly clothing section and clean dressing rooms. Welcoming atmosphere, the staff were very accommodating. Also I got a really nice deal on these jeans that would’ve been 6x the cost at the original price!!

Customer Service wasn’t really as apparent until check out! And then the  associates were friendly and informative, loved the options. And that they left me to roam like a kid in a candy store. Either way I’ll be back, after all it’s business. And as a newb to this establishment, I can understand how a hovering sales associate can be overwhelming, so no complaints here. Thanks y’all.

Amazing Staff! There was one girl who was so friendly and accommodating it made my shopping experience delightful. I wished I had gotten her name before I left! They have some great selections in store! Cant wait to go again.

This place always has an excellent selection. It’s a very clean store and smells nice for being a second hand shop. I shopped there for my maternity clothes before the baby’s came and got a lot of really nice things. If you check out this store you can go next door to the sister store for adults clothing called “Uptown Cheapskate”
If I paid retail for all the baby clothes I bought today @ $260 it would’ve been easily a grand. So save your dollars and shop here! Oh and one last thing, the workers are very nice and very helpful.

Sold us a broken purse. We drove back 30 mins to return with the receipt and they refused because I took the price tag off because it's a gift. The purse is trash what do they need the tag for. Best part is the people working are ignorant asf!!!

When the employees were going through my bags, I overheard them saying if an item did not fit them, they would not purchase it from me. When they noticed I overheard, they tried saying they were fighting over clothes. Based on the conversations I heard, I felt that they were shopping out of my clothes for them and not for the store. When I asked to see what they wanted to purchase, the employee asked me to keep them nicely, and I said okay since I was barely sifting through them. When I declined their offer of 20 items for 50$, she started putting my clothes back in my bag and was shoving them with little care, so I asked her nicely if she could put them back neatly since I had to carry them through two parking lots. I would not recommend this store and could get way more money on reseller apps with less effort and attitude.

Not sure why my original review was removed, but I am sure the owner bought the software that removes them so I will just rewrite it with a lower score.  I went there years ago with my inventory that was overstock.  The staff originally hired when they opened were wonderful.  My last few visits there were absolutely awful!  I would say I was greeted by the girl with the almost shaved head, but she basically was just barking her responses at me. She was nasty about signing in, even though, it had been the same since they opened.  She was rude to say the least.  I was told that I had to leave my items overnight.  I had to drive back an hour only to have her quote me one price for each item (totaling $50 cash), but somehow her math came to $40 in the end.  Not sure what kind of rip off job she was pulling when the store credit quoted to me was higher than the $50 cash and the pay out was only $40.  After that experience, I always drove south to Virginia Beach and New Port News to their competitor's resale shops with my excess inventory.  I made triple of what she quoted me on the excess inventory.  Not going back again.
