We recently visited Skipjack and it was an absolute delight! Joe, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about everything nautical. We had a fascinating conversation about underwater archaeology that added a unique depth to the experience. The store itself is a treasure trove of maritime history, with an impressive collection of art and artifacts. What really stood out were the informative cards accompanying each piece, providing rich details that made the items come to life. If you're a lover of the sea and maritime history, this is a must-visit spot. Highly recommended!

Owner Response

Thank you Steven for your informative review of Skipjack Nautical Wares. It has been our policy since our beginnings, 20 plus years ago to be as informative about our offerings as we can do so (factually). You will also find the same information available on our webstore www.skipjacknauticalwares.com since it is a mirror image of the brick and mortar store. We hope you will come back and visit with us again. We are open year round, but are only available (off season) by giving us a call at 207-219-0897 and let us know when you would like to come by. Cheers! Joe & Alison Elder.
